URANUS SQUARE PLUTO
This aspect is a seat of inner tensions. The tension of the square gives us motivation. Squares are dynamic aspects that give us the drive to succeed. What begins as an inner problem is overcome or accepted, and then becomes a door to understanding. It is important to understand that Uranus is the planet of a sudden change in circumstance, much like a lightning strike. Uranus also represents innovation, invention and independence. It literally strikes out and strikes out on its own, like lightning. Uranus is unconventional and electrifying; thereby bringing about sudden change in an instant, which can show up as being erratic.
Pluto rules transformation through destruction, only to end up in reconstruction. Pluto is powerful and behaves like plutonium, where it completely destroys only to rebuild anew. Pluto levels one thing to cause something else to rise up out of the ashes, just like the phoenix-rising arises from the ashes. Pluto destructs in order to reconstruct and there is where the transformation takes place.
This aspect will have affected those born somewhere in the 1930's who experienced major upheaval in their lives. There is chaos, upheaval, change, war, disasters, economic and natural disasters, rebellion and revolution. This aspect is just downright radical and chaotic!
Uranus square Pluto affects the masses on mass levels. It will also reveal an indication of the issues an individual will have along their Life path. It would be hard to feel secure with this aspect present in the natal chart or as a transit due to the chaos and tendency for upheaval. This generation of people work hard to use power to right the wrongs that are perceived in society. First you must learn to control that power in your own life.
