MOON SQUARE URANUS
This aspect is a seat of inner tensions. The tension of the square gives us motivation. Squares are dynamic aspects that give us the drive to succeed. What begins as an inner problem is overcome or accepted, and then becomes a door to understanding.
It is important to understand that the Moon rules the home and the family. It also rules the emotions, feelings, sensitivities and moods, while Uranus is the planet of a sudden change in circumstance, much like a lightning strike. Uranus also represents innovation, invention and independence. It literally strikes out and strikes out on its own, like lightning. Uranus is unconventional and electrifying; thereby bringing about sudden change in an instant, which can show up as being erratic. You can pretty much expect the unexpected when Uranus is involved and since it is coupled with the Moon in this scenario, then the mood can unexpectedly change.
This aspect shows just how quickly a mood or circumstances can change in the blink of the eye. This could show up as change occurring to the individual from outside forces or change coming from the individual who tosses away one activity for another one they consider better. Since Uranus is the higher octave of Mercury, which rules Gemini, this aspect is extreme when it comes to being easily bored. This aspect will change in a heartbeat, on a dime, and in a New York minute. You can expect change and the change you were expecting, wasn't the change you expected.
