JUPITER SQUARE PLUTO
This aspect is a seat of inner tensions. The tension of the square gives us motivation. Squares are dynamic aspects that give us the drive to succeed. What begins as an inner problem is overcome or accepted, and then becomes a door to understanding.
Jupiter is lucky, adventurous and abundant. Jupiter is very benevolent, generous and philanthropic. Jupiter rules religion and higher education, while Pluto rules transformation through destruction, only to end up in reconstruction. Pluto is powerful and behaves like plutonium, where it completely destroys only to rebuild anew. Pluto levels one thing to cause something else to rise up out of the ashes, just like the phoenix-rising arises from the ashes. Pluto destructs in order to reconstruct and there is where the transformation takes place.
This is quite a combination because both of these planets pack a massive and tight cannon. Jupiter packs expansion, while Pluto packs plutonium, which when coupled together equals transformation. It's an ugly process, but a necessary process. The thing is, neither of these two planets know how to do anything halfway, or even just a little bit for that matter. Pluto knows that in order to get anything done the right way, the table needs to be cleared and a new table needs to be set. When these two planets get together something is cookin' and it is going to be BIG! Jupiter is a big fat balloon loaded with hot air and Pluto is fired up just waiting to blow. When Jupiter's air blows on this fire, it's NUCLEAR! There is no 'gimme a little taste' with this aspect because it is pretty much all or nothing, and usually too much of a Good thing, isn't. This aspect goes to e-x-t-r-e-m-e-s to the 'nth' degree. There isn't enough of whatever 'it' is to satiate these two planets. It's overkill and overdone. Talk about going to extremes!
