Saturn is in Aquarius from March 21, 2020 until July 1, 2020 and then from December 17, 2020 until March 7, 2023. It's been a long time since Saturn has been in Aquarius. The last time Saturn was in Aquarius was February 6, 1991, to January 28, 1994. Think back to that time period and what was going on in your Life. Saturn in Aquarius is the transit of 'Progress at Work' since Saturn is the planet of 'work' and Aquarius is the most 'progressive and futuristic' sign, so we could very well call this, 'Your Future at Work'. Saturn in Aquarius turns Retrograde (Rx) on Saturday - June 4, 2022 until Monday - October 24, 2022.

This is nothing new this time of year, as Saturn always turns Retrograde for about 4-1/2 to 5 months every single year. So every single Summer, Saturn is Retrograde, which means all of the Summer birthdates probably have Saturn Retrograde. Note - Summer actually begins on the Summer Solstice, which is June 21st. It's perfectly normal. Not to mention there are a load of other planets that turn Retrograde as well, meaning all of the outer planets. Mercury just turned Direct on Friday - June 3, 2022. The late Spring birthdates always have a Mercury Retrograde. Always!

If you have been following my Astrology for any length of time, then you know that I always see any Retrograde as a 'do over'. I've been writing about Retrogrades being a 'do over' for about 22 years now. This is where the Universe (God, Creator, Father, Sir, Source) gives you second and third chance to get 'it' right before progressing forward. That's how I see it. It doesn't make sense that God would roll bowling balls (retrogrades) in front of you just to make you dance like a puppet. The only likely reason would be to give you a second and third chance.

So as the planet rolls over a set of degrees that would be the first chance. When the planet retrogrades and rolls back over that same set of degrees, that is the second chance. And when the planet turns Direct and moves forward in degrees traveling back over that same set of degrees, that is the third chance. It's like the energy is saying, get yourself organized and straightened out first because bigger, better and more is coming. If you want a piece of the action, then clean up your room. Simple reasoning. As you read this write-up, think of all the reasons why the Universe would be giving you a second and third chance to get 'it' right before progressing forward.

Interestingly enough, as we enter this changing of the Saturn guard from Capricorn into Aquarius, every single one of us on the planet has to entertain and take action on a different way of doing things with regard to our work. What are we going to do 'in the future' or with regard to our future. I look back at the last time Saturn was in Aquarius and at that time I was deciding what I was going to do about my future as I was just finishing my undergrad. What do you do with a couple of science degrees . . go further or see what I could do with what I had so far . . . so I kept going.

During this Saturn in Aquarius we see things so much differently than we did nearly 30 years ago because suddenly more people are forced to be working from home and other businesses are learning how to deliver their Goods via delivery and pick-up, or deliver their services via SKYPE, Zoom, YouTube, Facebook and other 'LIVE' platforms. Everyone is 'inventing' and 'reinventing' themselves and how to do their job. I had to quickly re-invent my yoga studio to an online yoga studio. It's a Good thing I had this website because I had the advantage of knowing 'how to' adapt and change quickly.

The cool thing is the world keeps spinning no matter what. The grass continues to grow no matter what. While coronavirus continues to press on, so do we. The Sun shines tomorrow no matter what. In other words, either adapt, change, and overcome, or find a new job (career) or get out of the way.

Aquarius is super-emotionally-aloof and detached, so there is no time for whining about how difficult your Life is (Saturn) because everyone now has technology at their fingertips. FIGURE IT OUT!

We entered the first phase of Saturn in Aquarius (March 2020) hittin' the ground running as was Mars conjunct Jupiter just one day before. Talk about having a rocket booster under your seat. Call it desperation, call it motivation, either way it's pretty damn cool that we had this kind of energy supporting us going into Saturn in Aquarius at the onset back in March 2020 just as COVID was beginning to rock our world and turn us upside down. You know what they say, "Necessity is the mother of all inventions", which tells us that the driving force of all invention IS NEED. At the onset of COVID, we need technology as we are all operating from our fingertips at home. Ever so quickly everyone has to reinvent themselves, how they do business and how they can reinvent their business to help make masks, ventilators, etc.

When Saturn was last in Aquarius back in February 6, 1991 until January 28, 1994 . . . it was in 1991 that the internet was made available to unrestricted commercial use and the number of computers on the net reached 1 million. The first version of the Linux operating system was introduced. Microsoft released MS Dos 5.0. Tim Berners-Lee introduced the web browser and the airbag was invented, which is interesting considering Aquarius is an air sign.

In 1991, as far as disease goes, the spread of Cholera reached near epidemic proportions in countries in Latin America. There was a 7.0 Richter Scale earthquake in Northern Italy that left 2000 dead. Seventy tornadoes break out in the central United States, killing 17 and a cyclone in Bangladesh kills 200,000 and Operation Desert Storm began in Kuwait.

In 1991, on the spiritual and religious front, in 1991 the Dead Sea Scrolls were unveiled to the public.

In 1992, AT&T released the video telephone. How incredibly Aquarius is that because Aquarius rules telephones and video. The nicotine patch was also released, which is interesting because Aquarius is an air sign, and 'the patch' protects the human air bags (the lungs). DNA Fingerprinting is invented.

In 1992, there was the beating of Rodney King and the riots in L.A. Remember, Aquarius rules social reform.

In 1992, there was a sewer explosion in Mexico that killed 1,500 and an earthquake in Turkey that killed 500. Hurricane Andrew hit and killed 65.

In 1993, for the first time Islamic Fundamentalists bomb World Trade Center. A devastating tsunami, caused by an earthquake off Hokkaido, Japan kills 202 on the small island of Okushiri. The ever popular Beanie Babies are launched . In technology the first bagless vacuum cleaner is invented and Intel introduces the Pentium Processor. The Waco Siege also occurred in 1993. An earthquake centered on Killari, Maharashtra, India kills nearly 10,000 people.

Also in 1993, the Pentium microprocessor introduced by Intel. The World Wide Web was born at CERN. Dyson sells the first bagless cyclonic Vacuum Cleaner. The World Health Organization W.H.O. estimates 14 million people worldwide infected with the AIDS Virus. The first cloning of a Human Embryo by 2 American Scientists.

So you see, some interesting technological developments and disasters occurred during the last Saturn in Aquarius.

So here we are nearly 30 years later and the day before Saturn moved into Aquarius back in March 2020 we experienced Mercury conjunct Jupiter, which caused us 'hit the ground running'. There was no time to think, take a breath or wonder which way to go . . . YOU JUST GO! WE JUST WENT! You respond and take action with Mercury conjunct Jupiter, and that's pretty much what had been occurring as the world was awakened to the coronavirus.

People, teams, companies, groups, organizations had no time to think, they just responded. Businesses close their doors and respond quickly to how they would continue to operate a business without opening their doors. I had to do the same thing with my yoga studio. Two (2) days later we quickly became a virtual studio and now we are global and our yogis are meeting each other in class on Zoom and doing business with each other. It's crazy! It was a blessing in disguise. I'm use to working online with this website, but what I was not use to working online with was my yoga studio. Now I have more experience as an online studio, than a physical studio, which is still operating. Everyone is learning how to invent, innovate and reinvent themselves quickly, efficiently, without batting an eye or blinking a lash.

Aquarius energy is friendly, outgoing, self-expressive, disseminates knowledge, expresses through sizable groups of people, less likely to budge from preconceived ideas although progressive in outlook, original, inventive, intellectual, independent, idealistic, revolutionary, loving, caring expressed more in groups than through individuals and freedom-loving.

Aquarians are humanitarians, innovative, inventive, group conscious, progressive and enjoys serving others. Aquarius can be rebellious, eccentric, aloof, emotionally superficial and overly-extroverted.

Aquarius rules the 11th house of arteries, ankles, and calves of the legs, shins and the circulatory system. Think about it, Aquarius rules circulation among people, and the circulation of blood in the body. While it's opposite sign Leo rules the heart, Aquarius rules the circulation of blood through and to the heart.

We have to have this energy to survive. We have to circulate, so for everyone to be at home alone and social distancing is very unusual for Aquarius energy because Aquarius rules masses of people, organizaitons, groups, memberships, and places where people gather and socialize. Aquarian's enjoy being around other people, circulating among them, bringing them together and staying connected.

Saturn in Aquarius will produce the 'social loner' as social distancing will continue until Saturn moves out of Aquarius in March 2023. It's going to be a long three (3) years, which will be incredibly hard on the circulatory system.

We will likely see circulatory problems, heart problems, chronic syndromes from lack of movement (circulation) including heart attacks. This does not look Good for those who do not engage in an activity at home while on lockdowns. The Eleventh House is about your friendships and relationship with groups of people. This house also rules organizations, friends, alliances, fraternities, memberships, money from employer, finances of employer, stock exchanges. It is also about your hopes, wishes and dreams. Other keywords include: friends and social acquaintances, groups and organizations and their activities and a new group of world servers.

I think what I'm most struck by at the start of this Saturn in Aquarius is the 'social distancing' because Saturn in Aquarius is the 'social loner'. Saturn by nature does not really have that many friends because by nature Saturn is too damn serious for pleasure and fooling around. Saturn is all business and no monkey business so he pretty much distances himself socially because he is just concerned with work. Saturn wraps his belt around our friendships, acquaintances, groups and the like and limits our ability to socialize.

Saturn isn't one to have pictures of the family on his desk. So when you put Saturn in Aquarius, the sign of friends and acquaintances and social functions, it's pretty much a one man or woman party. So it's a bit wild that we enter this Saturn in Aquarius transit under the theme of 'social distancing'. This is why I believe we will be social distancing all the way through Saturn in Aquarius through March 2023.

Let's think about social distancing for a minute and why we need to experience it. Saturn puts the squeeze on whatever it touches. While Jupiter e-x-p-a-n-d-s whatever it touches, Saturn takes its belt of rings off and puts it around something and squeezes it, limits it and restricts it. Aquarius is THE MOST social and friendly sign of the zodiac. Think about this for a minute. Why do you think we need to experience social distancing for three (3) years?

First of all, God has a favorite number and it's the number 3. He also likes 7's, 12's, 40's. He has a lot of favorite numbers. So I'm saying it's going to take three (3) years for us to stand far enough away from each other to finally see each other as people with beating hearts, brains, intestines, colons, fingers and toes. That is a PERSON standing there. Not a gay, black, white, asian, straight, sober, old, indian, young, addicted, sick, well, etc., person standing there. THAT'S A PERSON! HELLO!

The Good thing is there is going to be so much invention and innovation born out of this transit and it has already started. The technology we already had was enough to get us all operating from home, but we are quickly finding out that it is not enough. We need more. Quickly, schools and businesses learned that they needed bigger, better and faster technology. As Saturn re-enters Aquarius for the second time this year, a lot of people are back home working during a second shutdown and so many are still working from home since the first shutdown. Tech definitely needs speed, functionality, simplicity and workability. Thank you Saturn in Aquarius!
