MARS IN AQUARIUS

MARS KEYWORDS: Energy, aggressiveness, action, initiative, impulsiveness, adventurous, physical energy, courage, assertiveness and rash.

Mars in Aquarius will last from March 30, 2020 until May 13, 2020. I want you to mentate for a while on this transit of Mars through Aquarius and recall what was occurring the last time Mars was in Aquarius. Now listen, history does not 'have to' repeat itself because prayerfully through time, lessons, experience and knowledge, we have learned and grown.

The last time Mars moved through the sign of Aquarius was from May 15, 2018 until August 12, 2018 and then from September 11, 2018 until November 15, 2018, which was due to a Retrograde (Rx) period of Mars from June 26, 2018 until Mars turns Direct on August 27, 2018.

Let's roll back in our minds even further to the time before that when Mars was in Aquarius. Before the 2018 Mars in Aquarius transit, Mars in Aquarius just one day after the election of President Trump. Do you remember, before the election, I wrote about the rebellion-hellion that would be taking place? And do you remember the rebellion-hellion that took place? That transit of Mars in Aquarius lasted until December 19, 2016. Do you remember how crazy that time was with people in the streets protesting his election 'AS IF' they could throw fits, burn some cars, break windows, wear black outfits and make the election go away? Do you remember how Lady Gaga thought she had some sort of magical clout that she could protest outside of Trump Tower and turn the election results around with her bullhorn? I remember thinking, these people do not get it, the pancake had flipped with Pluto in Capricorn and they had better get use to the results because this man is going nowhere AND he will be re-elected in 2020. And now it 3-1/2 years later and some people (elected officials) still think they are going to turn the election around. They tried everything from investigations to an impeachment and he is still there. Folks, it isn't going to happen. That election was the halfway point of Pluto in Capricorn and the pancake (transformation) occurred. The pancake flipped and the election was over. It is O.V.E.R., OVER!

Coupling Mars assertion and drive with Aquarius we get an intense desire for freedom and independence because Aquarius is THE MOST freedom-loving sign and here we are, quarantined within our own home. It doesn't bother me because I like being home. I haven't left in over a week (for anything). This can turn into quite a rebellion and cabin fever when Mars in coupled with Aquarius and everyone is left to their own devices (internet gadgets), so watch the news for rebellious outbursts from the masses, groups, friends, memberships, sororities, fraternities, children's organizations or networking sites. This energy can easily morph into riots when the critical mass is reached.

I had a lot of astrotators get angry with me for my writing back then and how I interpret the political astrology but I don't care. I write according to how I interpret the Astrology and that won't change anytime soon. Pluto in Capricorn flipped the pancake and it was a done deal. I had the same kind of feedback when I wrote the Pluto in Capricorn write-up in 2008 about the people in the streets, fists pumping and dark people, and then when it occurred, people understood what I was saying. That Pluto in Capricorn post will remain until the year 2024 because it is a 16 year transit. That's why I wrote it in 2008.

This Mars in Aquarius energy has that same energy of people protesting in the streets, but then again, it could go the direct opposite way where people learned their crazy-in-the-streets never really does work and it's time to deliver on their bright ideas rather than stomp their feet around, wear disguises (that's real brave) and burn sh--. How about dig-deep and contribute to the spin of the planet through your own bright ideas? Protest reveals a lot of opinion and not enough bright ideas. I suspect this Mars in Aquarius will reveal less opinionated chatter and a lot more bright ideas, especially since Saturn has just entered Aquarius. It's a double-juicy shot of geniusness in the sign of Aquarius.

New inventions, innovations and ideas ... and I wonder what 'social distancing rioting' will look like. Hmmm? While it may be difficult to see the Good in this, the world is going to be a whole new place to live and it's going to be Good. Be patient. Saturn in Aquarius, Mars in Aquarius is a nice set-up for when Jupiter moves into Aquarius next year. Ahhhhhh, my natal Jupiter!

So back to the previous Mars in Aquarius that occurred during the election of 2016. Merely changing genders in the outcome of the election was not a transformation (Pluto in Capricorn) it would have just been a change in genders. Something absolutely drastic and transformative was going to take place and Donald J. Trump was that drastic change (transformation). You see folks, Mars in Aquarius along with Pluto in Capricorn was not just occurring in the United States, it was occurring all over the world. Who else would have made such a drastic and transformative impact (Good or bad) not just on the United States, but on the whole world? I am not defending, denying, supporting or arguing for or against anyone here, so keep your wits about yourself, your emotions in check and your Astrology hats on. I'm merely posing the questions to you and pointing out what occurred. I can't say any of this didn't happen, when it did. Now fast forward through all of the changes so far since the election and when Mars was last in Aquarius, from November 9, 2016 until December 19, 2016. That was a tough pill to swallow for a lot of people who still have not recovered from the news. There have not only been a lot of changes in policy in the U.S. since that election, there have been a lot of changes world-wide since that election. It is a fact that cannot be denied no matter what channel you are watching or what political book you are reading this week.

Now let's consider the world-wide impact considering the next time Mars was in Aquarius in 2018. Mars made his move into Aquarius on May 16, 2018 at 12:55 AM EDT, which was at 7:55 AM Jerusalem time. On Monday, May 14, 2018 the U.S. Embassy moved to Jerusalem. Do you remember the protesting and rioting that occurred? President Trump and Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu both knew, of course there will be protesting and probable rioting, so they may as well bite the bullet and get all of it over with now. The other U.S. President's probably delayed moving the U.S. Embassy to Jerusalem because of the repercussions, but the current leadership said, "Let's do this crazy thing and get the fighting over with, the quicker the better."

Aquarius by nature does not like to be told what to do at any length or by any stretch, so when push comes to shove, you can expect rebellion-hellion and a few things tipped over, knocked over or shoved over. Mars in Aquarius says, "Oh yeah, well watch this!" Mars in Aquarius is a revolution, but there does not have to be rioting. Just because Mars is in Aquarius does not necessarily mean there will be protesting and rioting, but there's a pretty Good chance. Maybe due to the coronavirus and people bonding from afar or through technology may rebel in other forms but social distancing will still stand simply because Saturn in Aquarius is the transit of 'social distancing'. Most people will turn into incredible germaphobes simply because of the currents state of global affairs.

Aquarius rules lightning, so while it is easy to predict how far away you are from where lightning strikes after you hear the thunder, I guarantee there is nothing predictable about Mars in Aquarius. So, it's hard to predict how this will roll out, but reformation will take place whether you agree with it or not. This is the placement of 'the reformer', so you can expect that this will 'not be' business as usual. Everything is going to change and Mars in Aquarius will see to it. The fixed sign of Aquarius will not take "no" for an answer. Mars in Aquarius will get very very pushy with what it knows. After all, the motto is "I know therefore I am."

Aquarius rules the house of the employer's money, which is why you will probably see more conversation with regard to wages especially due to so many people being out of work due to the coronavirus. So watch for these kind of topics or rebellious outbursts or even genius ideas from these groups of people. This really does not have to turn into rebellion because it could really manifest genius ideas during this time. People do get to choose how they will respond, just like they did back in 2016 during the Mars in Aquarius transit right at election time. Astrology always leaves room for your free will. You will be able to clearly see how this transit can go either way. Aquarius not only rules the employer's money, it also rules the military and government salaries, as well as the salaries of corporate CEO's and executives, civil servants and politicians. Perhaps the public at large because fed up over the salaries of those is high places.

Let's also keep in mind that Uranus, the natural ruler of Aquarius, which moved into Taurus May 15, 2018 for an eight (8) year stretch that will end on April 25, 2026. Taurus is the sign that rules our self-worth, personal finances, personal possessions and our morals and values. Everything tied to our finances is based upon our self-worth. Back when I first wrote about Uranus in Taurus I said that our personal financial cages are going to get rattled with Uranus in Taurus and that we will find unusual and unconventional ways to make money. Just know that Uranus is the planetary ruler and we have a lot of Aquarian energy occurring with Saturn in Aquarius for a three (3) year stretch, which began on Saturday, March 21, 2020.

Mars in Aquarius wants to do things their own way and will do so whether you like it or not, which is purely based on intelligence and not necessarily stubbornness. Many of us will learn through our own mistakes during this time, which isn't such a bad thing because that is really how things are invented and discovered. So don't get down on yourself if something doesn't work the first time around because you will have learned something in the end. This Aquarian influence is the most innovative and inventive sign of the zodiac. Innovation and invention is a process, which includes the making of mistakes only to discover . . EUREKA! The mistakes turn out to be a Good thing, not a bad thing. Mistakes rule out other things, so make certain you see mistakes as a gift and not a curse.

There may be a stronger attraction to electrical, mechanical or some type of engineering based gadget during this Mars transit because Aquarius rules electricity, lightning and mechanical things that are powered by electricity.

This Aquarian influence also rules the circulation of blood through the body. Aquarius is the 'circulator' which is why you should circulate yourself within groups of people, as well as circulate your blood, as in exercise through circulation. If you have or may have an issue with your circulation, this will likely be the time when there will be an issue unless of course you take proper precaution to keep your blood healthy and in motion (circulating).
