The BIG NEWS today is Mercury in Capricorn Rx trines Jupiter in Taurus Rx. Both Mercury and Jupiter are in retrograde status and now trine to each other. This is the 2nd of 3 times this aspect will hit this season (winter) and during Mercury in Capricorn season.

The first time Mercury trine Jupiter was back on December 7, 2023 where it was beginning to slow down before the retrograde began on December 13, 2023. The second time is today under retrograde status. The third time will be on January 19, 2024 when not only Mercury is direct, meaning moving in forward motion again, but Jupiter will be direct as well. "Sooooooo, we meet again", says Mercury trine Jupiter.

During Mercury trine Jupiter note what motivates your spirit to act and react in a certain way. I always say, "It's not the people who have their act together that influence me the most. It's the people who don't." I mean that with every single breath in my being. I don't adore, exalt, revere, idolize or hero-worship anyone. NO ONE! Being 'star struck' is just not part of my spirit, which is why I believe Spirit (God) has given me the client list that I have. No one is treated differently. I have found, celebrities, athletes, musicians and other creative or celebutante types have the same issues as everyone else, they are just BIGGER, and sometimes MASSIVE and sometimes more PUBLIC. I respect, cheer for, and favor certain people more than others, but I don't exalt anyone.

If there is one thing I know for sure, it's that people have stuff going on, backgrounds that we are not privy to, and they have secrets, personalities and emotions that most of us will never see. Everyone pulls down their pants and empties their bladders and bowels. Some people stink up the restroom more than others. Everyone passes gas from both ends. There is not a soul out there that is so put together that they don't have something stinky, wrong and unimpressive about them.

Everyone has a vice or some sort of 'immoral feed' they are ingesting, catering to and using as nourishment for their soul - food, sex, smoking, drugs, sugar, power, money, greed, control, drama, lies, etc. For some more than others, it's a constant struggle.

Folks, if someone presents as flawless, then that ought to be your first clue that someone or something else is paying for that flawlessness. God forbid a nail breaks. Do ya' hear me? Perfection is an illusion.

Why am I making a BIG STINK out of one having or not having their act together? Because perfection is an illusion folks. It is!

Mercury is not only Gemini's ruling planet, but it is Virgo's ruling planet as well. Virgo is the most nit-picky, flaw-finding, methodical, critical, detailed, and exacting Sun Sign. Accuracy and precision are key in the Life of a Virgo because someone could die, get injured or go broke if there is no attention to detail, and if mistakes are made. We need someone to find the weak link, crack in the wall, kink in the hose, or leak in the pipe, and Virgo is that Sun Sign.

The presentation of perfection is such an illusion because that simply tells us that if one thing slips, fades or doesn't go right, then the whole wall could come tumbling down. So how perfect is that? It's not that perfect in my opinion. That's why being being prepared, composed, and at-the-ready is so important. Be arranged, not deranged!

This reminds me of a former long-term relationship I was in. We were vacationing (he rarely ever vacationed) and after a couple of days I asked, "Have you called-in and checked on things?" He said, "No, I haven't." I said, "Really? How come? He said, "What kind of leader would I be if the entire thing fell apart when I was gone?" That has always stuck with me. I thought, "YES YES! That is so right." By the way, he was a Leo, which is the sign of the leader.

Now, I pretty much use that as common thinking to this day. If I am that Good at what I do, whatever it is, then it should be able to hold itself together when I am away. That goes for my personal Life and professional Life. The same should hold True for both.

As a Mars in Leo, North Node Virgo, that statement, "What kind of leader would I be if the entire thing fell apart when I was gone?" still resonates with me, even to this day. I apply it to everything, personally and professionally.

And so it goes with this Mercury trine Jupiter aspect, both in retrograde motion, what motivates your spirit?

For me first and foremost - Jesus, God, the Holy Spirit (Holy Trinity) motivates me because I'm scratching and crawling to make my way back 'Home' to God.

And second, while I am scratching and crawling to get there I know what my Life won't look like, that's for sure because, "It's not the people who have their act together that influence me the most. It's the people who don't."
