MERCURY SEXTILE PLUTO

This is an easy aspect showing cooperation between two planets which leads to opportunity. It has a positive blending effect on the planets. Sextiles are considered a "soft" or "easy" aspects that reflect the planets involved. They have a way of delivering you an opportunity. It's as if the phone is ringing or there is a knock at the door. Again, it is your choice to answer the opportunity. Opportunities can reveal themselves under the strangest of circumstances.

It is important to understand that Mercury rules the reasoning and conscious mind that forms conclusions. Mercury is intellectual, enjoys learning, teaches and is communicative. Pluto rules transformation through destruction, only to end up in reconstruction. Pluto is powerful and behaves like plutonium, where it completely destroys only to rebuild anew. Pluto levels one thing to cause something else to rise up out of the ashes, just like the phoenix-rising arises from the ashes. Pluto destructs in order to reconstruct and there is where the transformation takes place.

This aspect supports the ability to research all kinds of topics, especially those topics that are naturally ruled by Scorpio and then form your own opinion. That is because Pluto is the natural ruler of Scorpio. This would be anything involving shared wealth, like with a spouse or business partner because these are more complex financial issues that just personal income.

This aspect 'typically' occurs twice a year, which is always due to Mercury Retrograde (Rx). This year, we first saw this aspect back on Wednesday, March 5, 2025 before Mercury turned Rx on Saturday, March 15, 2025. Then as Mercury backtracks over the same set of degrees we just experienced, we experienced Mercury sextile Pluto AGAIN. So essentially, we get a second chance 'to do or do-over' what we were meant to do the first time around (March 5, 2025) because this is a 'repeat performance'.

During 2025 we will actually go off script and experience Mars sextile Pluto a total of six (6) times instead of two (2) times. Those dates are - March 5, 2025 - March 25, 2025 - April 20, 2025 - October 30, 2025 - November 17, 2025 - and December 13, 2025. This is due to the fact that Mars turned Retrograde a while back in Leo, tracking back through Cancer, and then into Leo again, which slowed his pace, setting us up for another sextile between Mercury and Pluto in the Fall of 2025.

Folks, not meaning to be morbid, negative or scary, but I'm going to push you in the direction of getting 'advanced directives' paperwork in order. Each time this aspect comes around I feel it necessary and important to press on the gas about 'advanced directives', meaning your 'Life after Life' paperwork.

As of the Fall of 2025, Pluto is in Aquarius and Saturn is in Pisces and this energy does tell us that the combination is setting us up for mass casualities of 'something', which is I believe is still fallout from the clotshot. Mercury sextile Pluto is also the placement of the medium, meaning the individual who communicates with those on the other side of Life. I did not mention this in my last write-up (I forgot) but I'm remembering to add it now. This aspect is the 'communicator' (Mercury) with those who have passed on to the other side (Pluto).

This also means list your 'secret passwords' and all of the variations and put them in your safe place for whoever will need these passwords later. Even your FB account can be designated to a certain person to make posts on your behalf should something occur.

Folks, no one lives forever, it's best to accept this fact of Life now and get your 'advanced directives' in order. My daughter is the 'Director of Nursing' at a long-term care facility and she is all about getting your ducks in a row.

You must think deep and intense during this aspect, especially about the things you do not want to think about at all. You must go there. So let's go there.

When Mercury sextiles Pluto, it is a great time to talk about anything that relates to Pluto. This can be a deep, intense and maybe even a scary conversation because Pluto is natural ruler of Scorpio, which is by nature, deep and intense. Really, really deep and intense.

Being that Pluto (planet) is the natural ruling planet of Scorpio (sign), both of which rule other people's money, including investments, wills, beneficiaries, testaments, last wishes, bequests, insurance, loans, mortgages, money that is gifted, the spouse or business partner's money, windfalls, and money that came through a source that is not through your own earned income.

Now folks, I want you to think very deeply here. Let's take the word mortgage and break in down into its two (2) parts 'mort' and 'gage'. The Latin origin of 'mort' comes the word 'mortus', which means 'the dead' and it morphed into Old French word 'mort'. The old French of 'gage' comes form the word 'pledge'. Mortgage is a 'dead pledge'. The reason why a loan gets this name is because that type of loan literally dies when it is either fully repaid or if the borrower defaults. Then it becomes a 'dead pledge'.

Pluto also rules the other side of Life, meaning death, rebirth and the transformation process from one form to another. A transformation is not just the same with a name change, a transformation is flatout different. So when one dies, their visible physical form no longer exists, but their invisible spirit lives on. Notice how I cannot even put 'form' behind 'invisible spirit' because there is no form. That's a trans-formation to something completely different. Transformation when applied to anything, means one thing has completely changed into another.

We can take Mercury sextile Pluto and apply it to whatever is occurring under the signs of which Mercury and Pluto are finding themselves.

There will likely be more waste, fraud and abuse that is found and announced surrounding this aspect, such as waste, trash, rubbish, fraud, and abuse because that's what Pluto rules.

Mercury is 'the speaker' or the announcer. Mercury naturally rules Gemini (communicator, announcer) and Virgo (details, flaw-finding).

Pluto also rules sex, intercourse, the genitalia and all things sexual. Pluto can and will definitely be kinky if there are hard aspects to Pluto, so when it couples-up and snuggles-up to Mercury, then it is likely sexting will be flowing through cyberspace. This energy may dive deeper resulting in pornography and sexual involvement that is beyond what is normal, accepted or entertained in the quiet and unshared mind (fantasy).

Folks, I really do not want to say this, but it is necessary. You must watch the children. Even children younger than teenagers are regularly sending provocative pictures to each other through Snap-Chat and other apps. Monitor the kids apps, emails, text, etc.

If full grown adults do stupid sh!t like this, then why in the world would you not believe the youth are doing this same thing? If grown adults are making bad decisions in this area, why in the world would anyone think children are making Good decisions in this area?

Also, have your eyes peeled in a major way looking out for your children when an aspect like this is present. Children do not need to know or entertain adult things. They are children.

During this Mercury sextile Pluto energy, it's a great time to say, "Honey, we need to talk" and get all of your 'transformation' paperwork completed AND SIGNED such as - Living Will, Living Trust, Power of Attorney, Advance Directives in Health Care, Property Deeds, Retirement Plans, Beneficiary Designations, Application for Federal and State Benefits, etc. The worst time to talk is when it's too late, meaning you do not get a chance to talk about it at all.

Folks, the BIGGEST subject matter that comes up during phone readings with clients are typically property and estate cases with family members. I mean it is HUGE! It is truly a distrastrous situation that rips families apart. For some reason, people think they will live forever and have no need to make their last wishes and property clear to those around them, or they put off what should have been addressed because one thing is for certain, we will all pass away. IT IS GUARANTEED! None of us will get out of that certainty occurring.

It might be a shock to realize this, but we are all just a couple of generations away from not being remembered by family members at all. Very few of us remember our great-grandparents or at least one of them. Think about it. I come from a young family, meaning we had kids young, like our parents so our odds are increased to be remembered by great-grandchildren. You can only pass down so much of your stuff, junk, belongings, effects and possessions before the next generation has to deal with it and can't relate to it.

I asked my daughter a long time, what is it that she finds most meaningful or dear to her that she would want of mine. She said my well-worn Gucci change purse. It's a black change purse that looks like an old-fashioned old-lady handbag with the twist snap. She said she remembers that change purse the most as she was growing up and she wants it. That change purse holds memories for her. I immediately stopped using that change purse and put it up for her.

I asked my grandson the same question and he wants my hiking boots. I still wear them, but he and I have done so much camping, hiking and backpacking, that those boots have cherished meaning for him. Naturally my Loved ones would get whatever they wanted, but those two (2) things are the most valuable to them. And my grandson wants all of my cast iron pots, pans, etc.

Folks, this Mercury sextile Pluto aspect wants you to speak these things outloud. Mercury (writing) wants you to get documents signed and paperwork in place. If you speak it outloud and talk about it openly, then your family would not have such problems and issues upon your departure. It's going to happen. SAY IT OUTLOUD WHEN EVERYONE IS IN THE ROOM.

I always say, I will never kill myself or go on a cruise ship on the Ocean, if anyone says either of those two (2) things occurred, investigate because it did not happen! SPEAK YOUR WISHES OUTLOUD IN FRONT OF LOTS OF PEOPLE and then write it down in a document.

Did you know that as long as you have beneficiaries on all of your accounts, those accounts and monies will not have to go through probate? Also, if you have a beneficiary deed, then the property will NOT have to go through probate. If you have a business, then you need a trust and lawyer. Folks, get your paperwork in order. Talk about it OUTLOUD in front of children and grandchildren who gets what and then write it down. You can write it on a napkin, but write it down. You don't need to talk about dollars outloud, you need to talk about who gets what. JUST TALK ABOUT IT! MERCURY SEXTILE PLUTO!

One day, a date we don't know, someone will be going through our stuff, and we won't care because we'll be TRANSFORMED to the other side. Make things easy on your family and get your 'departure paperwork' and belongings well-stated outloud for those left behind.

Again, this is probably the BIGGEST subject matter that I discuss in phone readings with clients. You don't have to wait for this aspect to come up to take care of personal business, although it is a Good time to do it.

While we will see this aspect again on April 7, 2025 and three (3) times again in the Fall of 2025, you don't have to wait for this aspect to be present, but it does make it a great time for the discussion, but come on, enough with the discussion, get your last directives and wishes in place such as - Living Will, Living Trust, Power of Attorney, Advance Directives in Health Care, Property Deeds, Retirement Plans, Beneficiary Designations, Application for Federal and State Benefits, etc. The worst time to talk is when it's too late, and you do not get a chance to talk about it at all.

P.S. - At least designate a beneficiary to your checking, savings, CD and investment accounts. That's easy enough. Your accounts are transferrable to your beneficiary automatically and without probate. They simply walk into the bank with a Death Certificate and collect the money. Same with the a beneficiary deed, and the property is a done deal.
