VENUS IN SAGITTARIUS

Venus moves into Sagittarius on October 17, 2024 until November 11, 2024. That's 26 days of Venus in Sagittarius. The last time Venus was in Sagittarius was from December 29, 2023 until January 23, 2024. Remember back then?

Venus transits a Sun Sign right at about every 30 days and sometimes up to 60 days depending on its motion, meaning if it involves a Retrograde or not. If a Retrograde is not involved with Venus in a calendar year, then it can make its way through all 12 Sun Signs in one year. In this case Venus will 'not' have a Retrograde in play during this time.

Venus is the co-ruler of Taurus (2nd house) and Libra (7th house). The 2nd house rules self-worth, earned income, personal possessions, value system, morals, values and one's own thoughts regarding sex, including masturbation. The 2nd house also rules banks, banking and personal debt. The 7th house rules committed relationships, marriages, contractual unions, agreements, partnerships, law, judgment, open enemies with the public (lawsuits), litigation and legal binding agreements and/or negotiations.

The Venus glyph is the upright symbol of Mars, where Venus is feminine (yin) energy and Mars is masculine (yang) energy. It is represented by the circle of spirit over the cross of matter. It represents the spirit overcoming matter through Love. This means someone who has their Sun in Sagittarius, will have their Venus within 2 Sun Signs on either side of Sagittarius or it will be in the sign of Sagittarius. This is what makes you run off to zipline or book a cruise.

This placement of Venus is looking for action, holding hands walking through a crowd with their Honey-Love. Venus in Sagittarius is BOLD in Love and says, "I choose you!" and is looking for Love to be an adventure, an experience, or even a crusade. This 'coupling' is going to be in the crowd looking cute as ever!

Venus in the sign of the one who favors religion and spirituality, this will bring about a strengthening and understanding in religious and spiritual conviction. During this time, as you witness a much wider audience reaching out to religion and spirituality, this could be due to the many horrific things occurring in the world but I assure you, Venus in Sagittarius also has a lot to do with it. In other words, people will likely get more in touch with their spiritual or religious roots.

Keep in mind that when Venus moves into Sagittarius, it is coming out of its detriment in the sign of Scorpio where it acts out inappropriately. When Venus is in Scorpio the energy is awesome and intense for the happy couples, but it is awful and tense for the unhappy couples. Venus in Scorpio is secretive and mysterious. Well Venus in Sagittarius is not going to put up with mysterious and secretive, and will want all of the Love cards on the table. Venus in Sagittarius will not put up with, "I can't share and tell how I feel because I was hurt and now I'm scared." This transit is BOLD! There will be no secrets, no guessing games (he loves me, he loves me not) type of BS with this transit. During this Venus in Sagittarius transit some people may seem selfish as they impose their opinions (the higher thinking mind) on others. Who knows, it could be you doing it? And if it is you, keep in mind that just because you have an opinion does not necessarily mean it is correct. It's just an opinion.

In short, refrain from forcing your religious, political or spiritual views on others. If you want others to understand your views, then 'date' them with your views and let them get use to you, rather than trying to 'marry' them with your views right out of the gate. If you try to marry them with your views right away, they will run away from you. You will see them slowly back-away from you or check the time. It's like someone knocking on the door for a first date and the other person answers the door in wedding attire. Date them!

And I'll just add a note here, if you are attempting sway others to your political view (Sagittarius is very politically motivated) then you will NOT do that by calling them names. You will only push them further away. If converting them to your view is your mission or goal, then calling them names will surely fail.

Example -- Sheeple, idiots, stupid, etc. I'm just sayin' it's a great way to get those you wish to see, to not see (or listen). Not only would this make the other person run, but it would make them sprint away from you at record pace. Date them with your views and give them a chance to think about your words rather than force them to agree with you. An aggressive approach could have them or you backing up like a horse taking a few steps back. Notice how people will actually take a few steps backward when they are through listening to you. You can either turn on a person or turn off a person with this Venus in Sagittarius transit.

This could also show up as the person who talks bad about religious people, forcing their view down others throat, which is exactly what they accuse the religious people of doing, which is forcing their view down others throat. It's not whether the topic is religious or non-religious, it's shoving a view down someone's throat, which is the exact same thing the other person is doing.

There is a heightened interest to outdoor sports, which is something you will want to remember if you are dating. Someone with Venus in Sagittarius in their natal chart would naturally be attracted to someone who engages in outdoor sports. The chase is ON. Picture two (2) horses running in the pasture.

During this time it could make all of us more attracted and/or understanding to those of a foreign land or culture that is different than our own.
