VENUS IN GEMINI 2024

Venus moves into Gemini on Thursday - May 23, 2024 until Monday - June 17, 2024.

Venus transits a Sun Sign right at about every 30 days and sometimes up to 60 days depending on its motion, meaning if it involves a Retrograde or not.

The Venus glyph is the upright symbol of Mars, where Venus is feminine (yin) energy and Mars is masculine (yang) energy. It is represented by the circle of spirit over the cross of matter. It also indicates what we value, and therefore is linked with money, personal possessions, resources, creature comforts, aesthetic, social values and morals. Here is a nice little piece of Venus trivia for you. Venus will never be more than two Sun Signs away from the Sun. This means someone who has their Sun in Gemini, will have their Venus within 2 Sun Signs on either side of Gemini or it will be in the sign of Gemini. This means there are five possibilities that a Gemini Sun Sign individual might have their Venus -- Venus in Aries, Venus in Taurus or Venus in Cancer, Venus in Leo. This helps you guess someone's Venus even if you don't know their exact birthdate but you know their Sun Sign. You can rule out Venus in the opposite sign (Sagittarius) and the three signs on each side Sagittarius (Virgo, Libra, Scorpio) and (Capricorn, Aquarius, Pisces). Cool huh?

Now folks, it is really important to understand how this Venus in Gemini energy works and this understanding is what will keep you out of trouble because Venus in Gemini is 'fickle Love' and Venus in Gemini is going to affect us all in some way. Venus in Gemini is even more fickle Love when it is afflicted by a hard aspect (a square, opposition, etc.) which can make it a really tough nut to crack.

Venus in Gemini is not really motivated to settle down. This Venus in Gemini energy likes to 'date around' and it extremely difficult to make a relationship, permanent. Venus in Gemini basically says, "Variety is the spice of Life." The sign of Gemini is very well known for having two of everything including two Loves and when you throw Venus in Gemini into the mix, then two Loves is a necessity. In fact, I expect a lot of people may feel like back-pedaling in their relationship and may not feel all that excited to 'settle down'. There will likely be phrases such as, "Can't we just be friends?" and "I Love you, I'm just not in Love with you."

Now as a Gemini, I'm old enough now to admit to myself and the world that this is definitely the case. While Gemini may be in Love, they also have a Love in their back pocket just in case the other Love doesn't work out. The fix for this is to have a career, creative outlet or a hobby that you absolutely would not give up, nor would you risk not having it anymore in order to have an extra romantic Lover in your back pocket. In this way the Gemini can have their cake and eat it too. So I have my Scorpion King who I Love and I have this website, which I also Love. I certainly would not give up this website to make room for another man just to keep him in my back pocket just in case it did not work out with the Scorpion King. Forget that! My intense desire for two Loves has been satisfied with my Scorpion King and my website. So the ever-so-common Gemini mistake is making the two Loves 'of the same' instead of two Loves of 'two entirely different things' because Gemini is two people rolled into one. Get it? Each person that makes up the Gemini needs to have their own Love. So there is me, and then there is the other me. This me gets the website and the other me gets the the Scorpion King. Both of us (me) wins! Yay for us (me)! LOL

Venus in Gemini is much like Venus in Aquarius who often says, "Can't we just be friends?" Those with Venus in Aquarius or Venus in Gemini should probably not even get married. In fact, I will just go out on a limb and say 70 percent of those with Venus in Gemini or Venus in Aquarius have absolutely no business being married. This does not mean that Venus in Gemini or Venus in Aquarius cannot be devoted individuals because they can be, they just need an enormous amount of personal freedom and the kind of freedom they need isn't what a normal person can give them. I'd say that the Sex in the City character, Samantha had Venus in Gemini. Someone with Venus in Gemini or Venus in Aquarius in their natal chart is spending a helluva lot of time chasing pleasure. In fact, when it comes to a value system concerning romance, intimacy, dating, marriage and Love; Venus in Gemini is pretty dang superficial and says, "Variety is the spice of Life!"

Venus in Gemini also means you should be asking for a discount no matter where you go. Just ask! This is when you should be asking for or getting 'a deal'. Push the envelope folks! Gemini is the sales person of the zodiac because Gemini naturally rules sales, salespeople, communication, transportation, local travel within your own locale, state or country. Do you think for one second that President Trump (Gemini) says, "Yes" to the first offer and shakes on it? That's almost laughable! Are you kidding, he's going to schmooze, flirt, flatter and touch the arm of the person who wants something from and he will get it.

Since Gemini rules the 3rd house of transportation, marketing, sales, communication and travel within one's own locale, state or country, then Gemini is the traveling salesperson. Gemini is also the flirt of the zodiac and the great communicator, which makes them the ultimate salesperson. Gemini will butter you up nice and slick in order to get what they want. For this reason many will find themselves sliding right back to Gemini because they want to, and even when they don't want to. Over the years I have had a handful of people angry at me about my Astrology take, but next thing I know, they are back reading my writings again and making contact again. I just smile to myself because it's a Gemini thing. Maybe it's for a little more butter. Using the slickness of butter (your actions) this is a tactic that you should be using during Venus in Gemini. Folks, this is coming from a Gemini herself, so I suggest you use it.

Venus brings about Divine Protection and juicy Lovin' on the sign involved. That's a lot of Lovin' on flirty, fiesty and flighty Gemini. This actually is a great time to develop your 'second Love' as long as that second Love is career, creative or hobby and not a second Love in your back pocket (infidelity). So what I'm saying is, be careful with Venus in Gemini because this aspect will keep a second Love in its back pocket just in case this other Love doesn't work out. "One for me, and one for the other me."
