Venus in Aries on DrStandley.com

Venus moves into Aries on April 5, 2024 until April 29, 2024. Venus transits a Sun Sign right at about every 30 days and sometimes up to 60 days depending on its motion, meaning if it involves a Retrograde or not. In this case, Venus will be in Aries for only 24 days. Make it Good!

The Venus glyph is the upright symbol of Mars, where Venus is feminine (yin) energy and Mars is masculine (yang) energy. It is represented by the circle of spirit over the cross of matter. It represents the spirit overcoming matter through Love. Venus is the yin side of our emotional nature and rules Love, beauty, harmony, affection, appreciation, sensual, vanity, flirtatious, art, music and aesthetics. The house that Venus occupies in your Natal Chart is where these characteristics will manifest the most.

Venus reveals how we like to relate to our environment and other people. Venus also shows how you express your emotions in personal relationships, especially where marriage and Love are concerned. Venus will reveal if we are attracted to strong, sensual and intense relationships or if we prefer freedom and independence. It also indicates what we value, and therefore is linked with money, personal possessions, resources, creature comforts, aesthetic, social values and morals. The house that Venus occupies in your Natal Chart is where these characteristics will manifest the most.

Here is a nice little piece of Venus trivia for you. Venus will never be more than two Sun Signs away from the Sun. This means someone who has their Sun in Aries, will have their Venus within 2 Sun Signs on either side of Aries or it will be in the sign of Aries. This means there are five possibilities that an Aries Sun Sign individual might have their Venus -- Venus in Aquarius, Venus in Pisces, Venus in Aries, Venus in Taurus or Venus in Gemini. This helps you guess someone's Venus even if you don't know their exact birthdate but you know their Sun Sign. You can rule out Venus in the opposite sign (Libra) or the three signs on each side Libra (Virgo, Leo, Cancer) and (Scorpio, Sagittarius, Capricorn). Cool huh?

Venus is the planet of Love, romance, pleasure, relationships, self-worth, dignity and all things beautiful. Venus also rules our self-worth, personal finances, earned income, morals and values. Venus is like the Greek root phil- or philo- which means to have a Love of or strong affinity for something or someone. So when you think of Venus in your personal natal chart think "Love of" whatever sign is involved.

Aries rules the 1st house of identity and how other's see you and respond to you. This house also rules the personality, your attitude, how you see the world, how you look, appearances, your worldly outlook, and self-awareness and how you respond. It includes the self, ego, anima, projected image, expression of inner motivation, soul purpose, initial approach to life and your aura. Take special note that this first house rules your soul's purpose and your inner motivation. Keywords: aggressive, impulsive, competitive, sports, games, creativity, self-centered, self-absorbed, selfish, starter, the beginning, creation, creating, game player and new beginnings. Arie also rules the head, which results in head games. When you put "Love of" or phil- in front of any of the Aries keywords, there will be an affinity for these things.

Aries is naturally ruled by fiery Mars, which is hasty, aggressive, impulsive, competitive, self-centered, self-absorbed, selfish and play head games. By the way, Aries rules the head. Venus in Aries is in its detriment. This means that Venus is in the opposite sign that it naturally rules.

Venus naturally rules Libra and Aries is Libra's opposite sign. So there you have it, Venus in Aries is in its detriment. This translates into the fiesty child throwing a temper tantrum in the grocery store. Basically, it acts out inappropriately at the wrong time and wrong place. There is a time and a place for everything; therefore, this transit needs to choose its Love battles wisely and slowly so that it is not impulsive and aggressive. Love never looks Good when it is impulsive and aggressive.

Venus moves into Aries on April 5, 2024 until April 29, 2024

This Venus placement demands personal attention and makes an individual very self-centered. I mean this in the nicest possible way because after all . . . I too have Venus in Aries, so I completely understand this transit. Who else would name a website after their own name but someone with Venus in Aries? So you see my dear little mentators, naming this website after myself was completely and utterly on purpose.

The first few years of writing this website I was all about myself and who I was. Then after continually studying my chart, which I still do to this day, I realized that my professional name is what gives this website its credibility.

There are many reasons why this site had to be named after me, including having a natal Venus in Aries. What I had to do in order to get away from my own selfishness and self-absorption was make this website about YOU and help YOU become YOUR OWN best healthcare provider. This website is really about YOU, not me. It's just my credentials that needed to be used. I use ME to help YOU. It's not about me at all.

Don't think for a second that wasn't hard for a Venus in Aries gal like myself to lay down her brainiac ego and chill, but I'm mature gal and I can handle that it isn't about me. I can lay down my ego. I get how I am supposed to use this energy. This website is about YOU. At the same time . . .

If you have Venus in Aries in your natal chart as I do, then you will need to learn how to get past yourself in order to do your God-given job. It's not about YOU. Even though the Aries motto is, "I AM therefore I am." It's about the great 'I AM' meaning God, not me, myself and I. When I finally got 'the get' about my 'I am' presence, that's when this website took on a more spiritual tone, instead of me I am, it it a platform to speak about 'The Great I AM' (God). I am very clear about 'I AM' now. Very clear!

Venus in the sign of Aries causes an individual to pursue a partner ardently and hastily, and yet strive for freedom and independence once they are in an intimate relationship. Venus in Aries likes to be the initiator in relationships, and can be quite aggressive; therefore, emotional self-expression is aggressive. Basically, Venus in Aries comes on strong! Venus in Aries chases Love so aggressively that it is like swimming aggressively toward a beach ball. The harder you swim toward the beach ball, the further and faster the beach ball will move away from you. The way Venus in Aries catches the beach ball (Love interest) is to gently dog paddle or just tread water and the beach ball will eventually make its way to you.

Venus in Aries has no problem pursuing the Love of their Life and may become competitive while seeking affection from the person of their interest. This energy is passionate and romantic, and has no problem letting the person they are interested in know that 'you choose' them! This is an impulsive placement for Venus, which can cause Love to be somewhat unstable. Your "Love Light" can switch "on" or "off" in the blink of an eye. Do you remember as a young person in Love pulling the petals off a flower saying, "He/she Loves me, he/she Loves me not." Well this Venus in Aries placement says, "I Love him/her, I Love him/her not." Venus in Aries chooses, not the other way around. Oh my gosh, I'm soooooo like that! Females with this placement will typically chase the man. Ooooops, me again. LOL!

This transit has an outgoing nature that is enthusiastic. During social gatherings, this energy seems to draw a lot of personal attention to itself through expressive and somewhat animated or comical behavior. This placement gives incredible creative and artistic talent. Channeling some of this aggressive energy into developing creativity will alleviate some of the aggressiveness that is spent on such an aggressive approach to relationships.

Venus in Aries is a spendthrift wherein money seems to simply slip through the fingers. If you have this placement it does not mean you give in to money slipping through your fingers. It means if you are going to spend money, then spend money 'some' of the time. Hold on to your money longer and think before you open your wallet.

When Venus in Aries is afflicted (challenged) through a hard aspect like an opposition, square or quincunx, then refinement in mannerisms and behavior will be required.

When Venus is well aspected through an aspect such as a trine, sextile, semi-sextile, then a positive and cheery disposition is shown.

Venus in Aries says, "Me, me, me - Enough about me, what do you think of me?" Somehow, the conversation will always turn back to talking about you. Just like I did in the paragraphs above. There I went, but hey, I'm the perfect example for you, so why not use ME to teach you. LOL! While this may seem a little humorous, those who wish some personal attention of their own may see this as braggadocios, boastful and a loud-mouth. (Tell me about it!)

This placement is also the most popular placement of bullies. Just because someone has this placement 'does not' mean they are a bully. Those of us with Venus in Aries do come on strong, which can be offensive to the sensitive. That hardly makes someone a bully.

I have found that my tendency to challenge a position and not back down 'can be' intimidating for others, especially if they have a sensitive nature. So yes, this placement can certainly intimidate or scare others because it comes off strong. And as for myself, I will not hold back and walk on eggshells for the super-sensitive if they cannot, will not, or aren't ready to rise to a challenge.

So you see, if I hold back my nature, then I hold you back by not delivering you the message. Venus in Aries just doesn't roll that way (hold back) because it does not wait. It's okay if you are not ready because Venus in Aries will move on and you will find yourself an astrologer that will cater to your needs. Then I will take my astrotators and we will move forward without hesitation or reservation.

This Venus placement has an assertive self-expression in romantic situations. Venus in Aries is a demonstrative position, and produces tendencies that seek excitement in area of Love. While cheerful and positive, this position packages itself well.

This transit is outgoing and full of enthusiasm, and works very well in social situations. This transit is fun and exciting, and to those more timid souls on the earth, this transit will be overwhelming to them or intimidating to them. See the word 'timid' in the word 'intimidating'? I have been called 'intimidating' my whole Life, but that usually comes from the more 'timid' souls and I get that. It's okay.

This placement is aggressive, but that does not make it 'mean'. Venus in Aries will not be waiting for your 'feelings' to adjust as this placement will NOT coddle. For myself, I take Venus in Aries to the people who can handle it and who will not run off with their tail between their legs. After all, Venus in Aries wants ACTION and RESULTS! NOW!

Venus in Aries says, "I GOTTA BE ME!" As I stated above, the Aries motto is, "I AM therefore I am." It's about the great 'I AM' meaning God, not me and my little I am self. There is a huge difference between "I AM" and "I am".

Outgoing, affectionate, and often times flirtatious, this transit becomes competitive in seeking the affections of others. At the same time, if it is not working, Venus in Aries will just flip the Light switch and walk away. Lights out! Venus in Aries says, "If you don't Love me, then I will find someone who does!"

The Sun Sign of Aries

Romance is a living for Venus in Aries. Romantic involvement is like a competition to be won, and Venus in Aries is not a particularly Good loser. When Venus in Aries Loves, the rest of Life may not be going well, which can result in irritability and moodiness. Venus in Aries has to learn that there is more to Life than romantic relationships. This is where Venus in Aries has to, 'Get a Life' and not depend on someone else to fulfill their Love needs.

Venus in Aries is easily aroused and has an instinct for romantic challenge and conquest. Man oh' man this is a competitive transit, but this is more competition with the self, as in one's personal best and not necessarily competition with another individual. Venus in Aries doesn't see anyone else as their competition except themselves.

In attracting a romantic partner, this transit is direct and full of adventure and enthusiasm. Venus in Aries has a dangerous tendency to fall in Love at first sight, or at least quicker than most people. Falling in Love is definitely not a problem for Venus in Aries. Due to its impulsive nature, there is instability where long-term romance is concerned. It will take the Venus in Aries native (with this placement in their natal chart) many years and many relationships to get this placement down cold and stop the Love antics.

The Sun Sign of Aries

The romantic nature of Venus in Aries impatient and careless pretty much most of the time. There just isn't enough time taken to make long range plans or for truly needed practical relationship considerations. Not surprisingly, early marriages are common with Venus in Aries. You can count me in for two marriages by the age of 25 on that one. At the rate I was going, I could have been married and divorced three times by age 30. It's a Good thing I woke-up! This placement has to learn how to have a deeper understanding of other people's feelings. GEEZ, no wonder God gave me a super-sensitive, empathetic and sympathetic South Node Pisces. (winky wink)

Having said that, there are going to be an enormous amount of people falling in Love right now during this Venus in Aries transit, but the new relationship will probably not last simply because once Venus in Aries actually catches the object or person of their desire, they may not want them anymore. Venus in Aries needs an individual (Lover) who will yank their chain and give them a little fear of losing them. Otherwise, Venus in Aries will do whatever they want when it comes to Love. No wonder someone like me had to wait so long for Love, until I learned my Love lesson. (winky wink)

If you have Venus in Aries in your natal chart or transiting through your Solar Return, then you will be called to use yourself as an example because it's not about you, not really. Using yourself (as I do) is to relate to others and bring them closer to the great "I AM" (to God) through your "I am" presence. Therein sits the connection. This could not be more of a direct line connection "I AM to I am" if it tried. Stay Astrologized™.
