FULL MOON IN LIBRA

The Full Moon in Libra is when the Moon opposes the Sun at exactly 9:43 PM EDT at 00 degrees 09 minutes on Wednesday, March 20, 2019. This Full Moon has several tough aspects impacting it, which means every Sun Sign will find this Full Moon a challenge, unless of course you and your Honey-Love have your communication and financial act together. Otherwise, this Full Moon will give you a rough go of it. When the Moon opposes the Sun, this is your 6 month check-up of the New Moon in Libra that occurred back on October 8, 2018. The New Moon represents 'fresh starts' and 'new beginnings' while the Full Moon is your 'approximate' 6th month check-up to that 'thing' you began back then. You should be well on your way to make that 'thing' a reality.

There are a couple of issues with this Full Moon, but they are 'not that bad'.

First Mercury is Retrograde (Rx), which is squaring Jupiter and it just so happens that Jupiter is squaring the Moon and the Sun, which are opposing each other, but the degree of separation is wide enough that Mercury is not making a direct hit with Jupiter. See the downloadable chart wheel. Actually, that exact aspect being Mercury square Jupiter occurred last Friday, March 15, 2019 which I wrote about in the Extended Daily Horoscope. So now it is a full five (5) days later with a nearly five (5) degree 'orb of separation'. The closer to 08 degree orb of separation the weaker or lesser the impact. The Mercury square Jupiter aspect will last until Wednesday, March 27, 2019 when it finally separates beyond the 08 degree orb of influence for a square. If you have been keeping up with the March 2019 Astro Memes then you already knew this.

Whenever I use the word "separation" I am referring to the planets pulling further apart after they were already exact. So the planets are not coming together closer, they are pulling the further apart (separating). The further they are from each other in degrees, the lesser the impact.

Look at Mercury squaring Jupiter impacting the Full Moon this way. Do you know how someone tells you something, which influences the way you think about something or someone else? Well this is essentially the same thing. Mercury is impacting Jupiter; therefore, Jupiter is putting its energy out there, reaching out and touching the Moon and the Sun while under the influence of Mercury. Jupiter is 'under the influence' of another planet (Mercury).

The Full Moon in Libra is about as 'us, we and our' as it gets. There is the possibility that you may be selfishly seated in 'me, myself and I' while the Sun in Aries ramrods onto the scene. This Full Moon is begging you to work together. Get your coupled-up game face on. If you are single, then great, you may need more time to make yourself a better half before you become a whole. If you are coupled-up, then make yourself a better half of a whole. We should be each other's help-mate. We should be helping each other. We should be making each other's Life easier, not harder. Think 'we, us and our' in the most unselfish way. It's not what benefits you, it's what benefits us. So we are left to ponder . . what do we need to experience in order to enlighten ourselves and get us back on the path? Depending on what each of us need individually, the Full Moon will shine its spotlight and reveal itself according to what we need.

Notice that this Full Moon is at 00 degrees 09 minutes. This means no sooner did the Moon enter Libra and the Sun enter Aries that they became opposite energies in opposite signs at the same degree, that being 00 degrees. The Sun entered Aries at 5:59 PM EDT and the Moon entered Libra at 9:28 PM EDT. When the Moon and the Sun oppose each other, that is the Full Moon.

It is also important to note that when a planet is at 00 degrees 'in a Cardinal Sign', then that is a critical degree. The Cardinal Signs are Aries, Cancer, Libra and Capricorn. The Universe gives a GREAT BIG SMILE when a Cardinal Sign is at 00 degrees, so keep in mind the Sun is in Aries at 00 degrees and the Moon in Libra at 00 degrees (both Cardinal Signs) and are taking part in an aspect that creates a Full Moon. A Cardinal Sign represents the change of a season. Cardinal Signs are as important as the points on compass - Aries, east; Libra, west; Cancer, north; Capricorn, south. Before you swallow that pill (that last sentence) think about the compass. We use compasses (GPS) to get us to the place that we desire to be. So you can easily see here that we have here the situation .... I Am vs. We Are .... Me vs. Us .... Myself vs. Ourselves .... I can do it myself vs. I need help .... Lone survivor vs. Helpmate .... Singularity vs. Duality .... On my own vs. The two of us. Folks, this is an identity situation because it is all about the self vs. companionship or a twosome. This is where couples run into problems because of the tug of war with what one individual wants versus what is best for the couple. Typically if one couple is fighting for their own way, then they are in 'me' mode and not 'we' mode because they are ultimately looking out for their own Good, not the Good of the couple. The Libra Full Moon will shine bright light on the couple where any issues will be brought to the surface including all of the emotions surrounding it.

Mars trine Pluto is pretty much power on steroids. Keep in mind that Pluto is the higher octave of Mars. So this is super-strong-energy. Combine these two energies in a lushish trine and we have the power to act through decisive action. When Pluto it is involved in a hard aspect such as a square or opposition, it results in destruction and then rebuilds through construction, thereby resulting in transformation. With this trine, Pluto has already destroyed or leveled and now it is in construction phase and rebuilding during the critical 00 degrees of the Full Moon. There is enormous willpower with this aspect, so much so that it gives you the will and the power to succeed. This aspect operates without fear, intimidation or threats. This is no room for anything but success and a positive outcome. Some may even claim a spiritual source as their strength.

Mercury sextile Saturn is exact on this date and means 'applying the mind' in just about anything you pursue or most activities in Life. There is a serious (Saturn) approach to learning (Mercury). It is a well-developed intellect that makes you resourceful and careful in your actions. You thought things through and you are deliberate in action. Little is left to chance with this aspect, as every thought, idea and action has purpose, strategy and calculation.

Last but certainly not least, you may notice on the downloadable chart wheel that there 'appears' to be three (3) Grand Trines overlapping each other, but 'technically speaking' this is really 'not' a Grand Trine because a Grand Trine has to involve three (3) signs in the same element. This trine appearance happens to involve the Libra Moon (in an air sign), Saturn, Pluto and the South Node in Capricorn (in earth signs) and Mars in Taurus (an earth sign). It's that Libra Moon that makes it 'not' a Grand Trine. What we do call this is an 'out-of-sign-trine'. Notice that the Moon in Libra is at the very beginning of its transit and the other involved planets are at the end of their transit. This makes it close enough in degrees that they are trine each other, including the Libra Moon. No matter what it's called, it does deal a positive impact to this Full Moon in Libra, which benefits all of us. So yay for us! We may be dealing with an out-of-trine-aspect but it is still wonderful and serving us well.
