The Moon in Cancer sextile Uranus in Taurus at 11:19 AM EDT. Lunar aspects have an 'orb of influence' of 12 to 14 hours 'before' and 'after' their exactness.

The Sun in Aries conjunct Mercury in Aries at exactly 9:50 PM EDT where it began in applying degrees on April 9, 2021, it is exact today, and will last in separating degrees until April 27, 2021.

Today the Moon is in emotional, moody and hyper-sensitive Cancer. Remember, this Moon takes 'everything' personal and will make you think it is about you or that someone is referring to you. If this is a problem, then THAT 'is' the problem. Too much Cancer in a chart will throw away the intuition and take things personal. That is the wrong use of the Cancer 'I feel therefore I am Moon'. It's not about you ... it's about the intuition and connecting with Source. If this is a problem, then THAT 'is' the problem.

This Moon can be pretty dang self-absorbed and self-involved even more than Aries energy if you let this Cancer Moon overtake you. You have to back-up from this Cancer Moon and realize that everyone is not sitting in their home at their kitchen table talking about you. People are in their own world working out their own sh--! Making everything about you is a sure-fire way to get attention or gain emotinoal control over others. Knock it off before you piss others off with the drama and tears and what they did or didn't do that upset you. This Cancer Moon makes everyone walk on emotional eggshells careful not to hurt your feelings (if you) are into emotional control of others through your emotional drama.

The BIG NEWS today is the Sun in Aries conjunct Mercury in Aries at 29 degrees 14 minutes. Dang! We almost escaped this Sun in Aries transit without a conjunction to Mercury in Aries. RATS-OLA! And you know what a Sun/Mercury conjunction looks like. BRAIN SCRAMBLE! It's too much information coming in so fast it's hard to process it.

If you followed the trial of Jodi Arias, the woman who murdered her boyfriend, she has the Sun Conjunct Mercury with a 03 degree 34 minute orb. I followed this trial every single day on HLN. When Jodi Arias said to Juan Martinez, "Usually, when men like you are screaming at me or grilling me, it makes my brain scramble" I yelled back to her, "That's because you have the Sun conjunct Mercury in your birth date!!!"

This conjunction usually lasts for about a week before and after its exact conjunction, but this aspect came in to the 'orb of influence' on April 9th, which was over a week ago and will last utnil April 27th, which will be over a week from now.

The fix is to look for ways to communicate your thoughts and ideas. Not to mention it is a super time to listen to the thoughts and ideas of others. When the Sun is shining so brightly up close and personal to Mercury, it may be difficult to see yourself as others do because we are being blinded by ourselves.

Try not to be too surprised if someone offers you an opinion about you that does not seem to be anything like you. To you. This is certainly mental energy at its very core but like any other astrological orb of influence, it all depends on how you choose to channel it. You still get a choice.

This aspect pops up several times a year, which means at least three (3) groups of Solar Returns are experiencing this aspect every single year. This time around, anyone with birth dates between April 9th and April 27th will have this aspect in their natal chart.

It is important to give yourself some time to process information before answering a question. Think first and then demand some time to think (if you need it) so that you are not pressured into answering lest you find yourself regretting what you just said. This aspect can be self-incriminating or saying something you don't really feel while under anger or pressure. Take a breath and take a moment.

Mercury rules the reasoning and conscious mind that forms conclusions. Mercury is a communicator, traveler, salesperson and an intellectual, while the Sun rules the identity, ego, individuality, power and pride.

I always refer to this aspect as the 'All Circuits Are Busy' aspect or TMI (too much information) aspect where it makes it hard to process, understand and connect mentally and then speak your mind. You can easily get tongue-tied and confused and then say the wrong thing.

This is the aspect of 'brain fry' especially during an air or fire sign conjunction. This aspect is in the sign of Aries, which is a FIRE SIGN CONJUNCTION. So brain 'fry' is putting it mildly. It's just so hard to think when this aspect is present. Wait, wait, whad'you just say? The sentence gets repeated and you still don't get it.

Also, when the Sun and Mercury are 4 degrees or less from each other, this leads to complete burnout and then nothing gets done. That's why you need to re-engage, re-orient and re-inject yourself back into whatever it is you are doing. Maybe start over. It can become very hard to communicate your thoughts because you cannot process your thoughts. It's like overloading a power strip with electrical gadgets and then the circuit breaker flips and all lights go out.

Test taking would be extremely challenging during this aspect and I recommend playing hookey if there are tests, finals, etc., up until April 27th. No kidding!

Now if you have a Solar Return that has this aspect within less than 30 minutes (which is less than 1/2 a degree) then that would be some incredible intuition. Instead of 'mental blindness' you are able to see everything.

Last but not least, if you have been keeping up with the April 2021 Astro Memes then you already knew that we are entering the 'applying degrees' of the Venus square Saturn aspect. That means we are now in the 'orb of influence' of this aspect. It will not be exact until Sunday - April 25, 2021 but we are entering its energy NOW. This energy will last until Saturday - May 1, 2021. This is why it is important to order your Solar Return ahead of your birthday so you can be ready for the applying degrees arrive.

This Venus square Saturn aspect is a tough one because it honestly does not feel like it is Loved by anyone, not family, not friends, no one. Now we all know this is simply not True, but the aspect can make you feel that way. If you have a birthday between today - April 18, 2021 and May 1, 2021 then you will have this aspect in your 2021 Solar Return. It's a tough one folks, but it does not mean that you cannot find Love or be Loving or be Loved. Your approach means everything. I will continue to address this aspect every day as we get closer to its exactness.
