MOON SEXTILE URANUS

This is an easy aspect showing cooperation between two planets which leads to opportunity. It has a positive blending effect on the planets. Sextiles are considered a "soft" or "easy" aspects that reflect the planets involved. They have a way of delivering you an opportunity. It's as if the phone is ringing or there is a knock at the door. Again, it is your choice to answer the opportunity. Opportunities can reveal themselves under the strangest of circumstances.

It is important to understand that the Moon rules the home and the family. It also rules the emotions, feelings, sensitivities and moods, while Uranus is the planet of a sudden change in circumstance, much like a lightning strike. Uranus also represents innovation, invention and independence. It literally strikes out and strikes out on its own, like lightning. Uranus is unconventional and electrifying; thereby bringing about sudden change in an instant, which can show up as being erratic. You can pretty much expect the unexpected when Uranus is involved and since it is coupled with the Moon in this scenario, then the mood can unexpectedly change.

This aspect supports the ability to let go of the past and move toward the future because it is progressive in its views. This is because Uranus rules the future, which explains why innovation and invention are ruled by Uranus. If you do not have the Moon sextile Uranus in your chart, but you are ready to step forward from the past and move into the future, then the time to do it is when this aspect shows up on the scene.
