VENUS SQUARE SATURN

This aspect is a seat of inner tensions. The tension of the square gives us motivation. Squares are dynamic aspects that give us the drive to succeed. What begins as an inner problem is overcome or accepted, and then becomes a door to understanding.

Venus rules Love, beauty and relationships, as well as aesthetic, artistic and romantic. Saturn rules stability and responsibility. It is also disciplined and cautious. Saturn rules the father, limitations and authority figures.

With this aspect there is difficulty being assertive in relationships. There is a fear of confrontation and shy away from emotional disputes. The problems may have started with a relationship with your parents, namely the father or a male authority figure. There may even be underlying issues with authority figures such as bosses, managers or anyone who tells you what to do. There is an automatic defensive posture or disposition.

Needless to say, but I'll say it anyway, this is some pretty challenging personal relationship energy. Venus causes us to revert back to the family where we can get the Love we want and/or need, but the problem is Saturn, which rules the father or authority figure is squaring Venus. This energy is deeply painful on an emotional level because no matter what, it just feels like no one is getting the Love they really want and need.

Folks, you have to tell yourself this is a 'feeling' and it's not True. The aspect is real, the feeling is real, but the feeling does not make it True. It is a feeling. The sure fire way to 'cure' this aspect is to put your energy into something that you Love. When you put your energy into some'thing' that you Love, instead of some'one', then that some'thing' gives you some'thing' back. Depending on some'one', and I mean that 'one' person who isn't giving you the Love you want, actually has power over you, if in fact you are leaning on that 'one' person.

Channel Venus square Saturn into some'thing' that you Love. This is how lyrics and books are written, websites and podcasts are created, music is made and paintings are painted. Do not lay down and give up on your entire Life because romantic Love is not showing up for you the way you want it. This is the opportunity to change how you express Love and the kind of Love you are looking for in return.
