SUN CONJUNCT PLUTO
The Sun will continue to conjunct Pluto in the sign of Capricorn every single year in the month of January until January 20, 2024.
A conjunction or conjunct symbol is an aspect that emphasizes and brings together the energies of the planets involved. Conjunctions focus and intensify the energy much like a laser beam on an exact point in your chart. These planets have their own uniqueness and when tag-teamed their energy is intensified even more.
It is important to understand that the Sun rules the identity, ego, individuality, power and pride. Pluto rules transformation through destruction, only to end up in reconstruction. Pluto is powerful and behaves like plutonium, where it completely destroys only to rebuild anew. Pluto levels one thing to cause something else to rise up out of the ashes, just like the phoenix-rising arises from the ashes. Pluto destructs in order to reconstruct and there is where the transformation takes place.
This is an incredibly powerful combination between planets where you can literally hold the world in the palm of your hands. The Sun is huge, powerful and we depend on it for our survival. Pluto could not be further away from the Sun in our Solar System, but yet it is. Pluto was discovered on February 18, 1930 which really isn't that long ago, which makes me wonder how entire books can be written on the subject of Pluto. Pluto hasn't even transited through all of the signs, in our lifetime, so how much can we really know? Well what we do know is that Plutonium was named after Pluto to keep in alignment and tradition of naming elements after newly discovered planets. Uranium, which was named after Uranus, and Neptunium, which was named after Neptune. So if you can remember the power of Plutonium, then that will help you remember the power of Pluto.
