MOON SQUARE NEPTUNE
This aspect is a seat of inner tensions. The tension of the square gives us motivation. Squares are dynamic aspects that give us the drive to succeed. What begins as an inner problem is overcome or accepted, and then becomes a door to understanding.
It is important to understand that the Moon rules the home and the family. It also rules the emotions, feelings, sensitivities and moods, while Neptune is spiritual, dreamy, imaginative and has escapist tendencies. These are two planets that are naturally ruled by water signs, which would be Cancer (the Moon) and Pisces (Neptune). Water Signs are known for their intuition, emotional depth and intensity.
This aspect is prone to heavy moods and bouts of depression. Often times this aspect will leave an individual without a grip on reality and often times sinking further and further into fantasy and imagination. In other words, this aspect runs away with its imagination. If you can literally picture a spider web and visualize it loaded with emotions, that is what a web of emotions looks like. If the individual under this influence is mature enough, then through time they have probably learned how to pull out the softer side of themselves so that they can channel their emotions constructively, rather than destructively.
