MOON OPPOSING URANUS

This aspect depicts conflict which, when resolved, results in growth. Oppositions show a tug of war between opposing forces. If they are resolved, then the oppositions become the backbone and strength of the chart.

It is important to understand that the Moon rules the home and the family. It also rules the emotions, feelings, sensitivities and moods, while Uranus is the planet of a sudden change in circumstance, much like a lightning strike. Uranus also represents innovation, invention and independence. It literally strikes out and strikes out on its own, like lightning. Uranus is unconventional and electrifying; thereby bringing about sudden change in an instant, which can show up as being erratic. You can pretty much expect the unexpected when Uranus is involved and since it is coupled with the Moon in this scenario, then the mood can unexpectedly change.

Conflict arises because of the belief that the individuals emotions are crazy, unstable and perverse. The individual with this aspect in their natal chart learned during childhood, probably the mother, that emotions changed too fast and could not to be trusted or depended upon. This aspect has a frequent change in moods and attitude, which in turn confuses others. One minute the individual said and felt this, then next minute the individual said and felt that.
