MERCURY CONJUNCT MARS
A conjunction or conjunct symbol is an aspect that emphasizes and brings together the energies of the planets involved. Conjunctions focus and intensify the energy much like a laser beam on an exact point in your chart. These planets have their own uniqueness and when tag-teamed their energy is intensified even more.
It is important to understand that Mars is busy, hyper and action-oriented. Mars is assertive, aggressive and competitive. Mars also has power. Mercury rules the reasoning and conscious mind that forms conclusions. Mercury is a communicator, traveler, salesperson and an intellectual. Keep in mind that Mars is the ancient ruler of Scorpio, while Pluto is the modern-day ruler of Scorpio.
This is a fabulous aspect for finding out information because this aspect is mentally aggressive and needs to find out the Truth. This is the perfect aspect for investigators, journalists, reporters and investigative journalists. If this aspect shows up on any given day, but it is not in the natal chart, it is still a fabulous tool for finding out what one needs to know.
This aspects represents a forthright and powerful speaker who enjoys a thought provoking discussion. This placement will cause an individual to say what they think without considering what the result might be. It is a decisive and action oriented aspect. It is also excellent for making speeches and talking about controversial topics.
Since this aspect is competitive, it will try to flex its intellectual prowess and out-speak another person in a debate or even in an argument, constantly attempting to show that they know more than someone else. This individual will feel as though they are intellectually superior to others. This aspect is direct, confrontational and it can be rude.
If this aspect is afflicted in the natal chart or afflicted (challenged) as an aspect on any given day, there will be heated arguments where one tries to overpower other people with their mind and intellect. In other words, this aspect can be an intellectual snob.
You can also bet your ass that the details will be coming out soon, if not sooner, when this aspect is activated (present). Whatever details need to come out, that's what I am talking about. This aspect is mentally aggressive and is perfect for those doing research. This aspect is ferret-patrol, as it can sniff out any case, story, picture or timeline. It's on the case!
