MARS OPPOSING SATURN

This aspect depicts conflict which, when resolved, results in growth. Oppositions show a tug of war between opposing forces. If they are resolved, then the oppositions become the backbone and strength of the chart.

It is important to understand that the Moon rules the emotions, feelings, sensitivities and moods, while Saturn rules stability and responsibility. The Moon is emotional, while Saturn is disciplined and cautious.

This aspect is the classic representation of 'Daddy Issues' and reveals that there is a problem with daddy or an authoritarian figure. This aspect pulls us in two complete directions. It will help us to express our own energy and it will cause us to hold ourselves back. Sometimes we are assertive and other times we cannot be bothered. This may stem from childhood when a father figure restricts independence. This energy is most definitely represents oppression from the father, a father figure or an authority figure.
