The New Moon in Pisces is on Saturday, March 17, 2018 at exactly 9:12 AM EDT at 26 degrees 53 minutes (basically 27 degrees). A New Moon is when the Moon conjuncts the Sun, which means the Moon and the Sun are in the same sign and same degree. A conjunction emphasizes, intensifies and brings together the energies of the two planets involved. While it is true that Leo is a very dramatic sign, there is no other drama king or queen like that of a Pisces, who LOVES a great sob story, rescue mission or tear-jerker. Keep in mind that Pisces is the storyteller, the dreamer, the imaginative one, the most theatrical and the most dramatic of all signs. So it's no wonder that Hollywood award season is loaded with Pisces energy. Just one week and a half ago, on Sunday, March 4, 2018 while the Sun in Pisces was conjunct Neptune in Pisces, it was the 90th Annual Academy Awards.

Not only will we experience a New Moon, which signifies new beginnings, we are experiencing a Stellium, which is also referred to by some astrologers as a 'crown of stars'. A Stellium is a cluster of at least four or more planets in the same sign and same house. A 10 degree orb is a must if the planets are in different signs, but in the same house, and even this would be a judgment call on the part of the astrologer. The occupied house and/or sign contains a tremendous amount of intensity and complexity of energies represented by the planets involved. This particular New Moon is all spiritual (Pisces). It is all about Spirit (God, Universe, Creator) and spirit (you, me and my). Quite honestly, I am absolutely amazed how spiritual some people claim to be, but yet they are so dang fearful, worried and anxiety ridden. Folks, I don't care how you slice it, that is 'not' spiritual. In fact, being fearful, worried and anxiety ridden is a completely glued to the physical world response. It's not even close to spiritual. Ahhhhh, but spirituality has a calm that is unruffled and undisturbed, it is certain, and that is what this New Moon (new beginnings) in the sign of Pisces (spirituality) wants you to embrace. Spirituality has Faith, that is faithful, sight unseen. There is confidence in that which cannot be seen (Spirit) by us (spirit). It's so dang cool I can hardly stand it.

The Full Moon in Pisces (which occurs during the Virgo Sun in August or September) manifests all of this emotionally and dramatically, but this New Moon in Pisces, which occurs during the Pisces Sun in February or March, is intuitive, faithful, imaginative, sensitive and in-tune like a tune-ahhhh-fish (us, spirit) with the Great Ahhhhhhhhhhh-men (Spirit, Creator, God). My Goodness, how anyone gets fear out of this New Moon in Pisces I have no idea. SAVE YOURSELF AND DON'T LISTEN TO THEM!

Pisces is the yogi, quietly contemplating, reflecting and being alone (with God). If you have heard me say it once, you have heard me say it a million times, Pisces is 'monk mode and moving meditations'. This is discipline on a whole different level that Saturn and Capricorn or Saturn in Capricorn. Pisces has 'spiritual discipline' although there are many who do not use this gift. Pisces can lay still at the bottom of the river, stream, lake or Ocean. Pisces can also propel itself across the water with its tail as if it were 'walking on water'. Even more, as you can see from the Astro-Meme above, Pisces can also dance across the water and it can pop out of the water and fly through the air. The power, strength of speed of Pisces is unmatchable, and yet Pisces has this quiet discipline who can be alone for days on end in comfortable silence.

Pisces is like also like TOFU, meaning it is impressionable and it will take on the flavor of anything presented to it. Pisces is also gullible and eats like a fish. Pisces will soak up like a sea sponge what it is influence to take in. You must get past the fear presented to you and embrace your own BELIEF (Pisces motto, I believe therefore I am) then you will not have to take on someone else's fear that they are throwing onto you. This is how Pisces becomes the flip-flopper of the zodiac. While it can relate to both sides, it can take on the belief or form of whatever it stands next to. TOFU PISCES!

I have a South Node Pisces so I have become the master at dropping the fear and using it to my advantage. I always say, "Fear doesn't use me, I use it!" This is how I came up with, "I don't use fear to hold me back, I use it to drive me forward." Propel yourself forward like the dolphins in the 'Leap of Faith' graphic above.

Since Pisces is the Tofu Sign, you will always hear a Pisces say, "THAT HAPPENED TO ME TOO!" I don't care what you are talking about, you can always catch a Pisces saying, "Me too" ... "That happened to me too!" ... "I'm like that too!" It's hilarious! It's the tofu-ness and they can't help it. Pisces takes on the flavor or belief of whatever or whoever they are around. It's time to be your own person and stand in your own belief! STAND IN, YOU! Pisces will take on the impression of whatever someone else says. TOFU! Folks, I encourage you to be your own person, have your own belief and experience whatever you experience. This is a fabulous New Moon in Pisces for you to believe in yourself along with your Faith. This is Spirit and your spirit dancing happily together.

This New Moon in Pisces is very psychedelic and swirly, meaning it is spiritual, ethereal and quite dreamy. After all, it is ruled by dreamy, imaginative and sensitive Neptune. That is exactly why ANYONE with a badly aspected Neptune or natal South Node should never ever never ever do drugs or drink alcohol. It messes with the spiritual element and then seriously takes away from the physical (human) element and sets you backward on your Spiritual Progression Path™. For this reason, I now absolutely refuse to consume alcohol because I have a South Node Pisces. It would completely interfere with my intuition. I know the rules and I follow them. If you have a badly aspected Neptune in your natal chart, your weight gain is likely fluid (water) and not fat. Check your charts folks! Remember, Pisces rules the Ocean and Neptune rules Pisces.

This is a time to truly be 'under the influence' of Spirit (God) and 'not under the influence of spirits (alcohol)' because Pisces is so sensitive that it will take you off your game and mess you up. Remember, Pisces is so easily impressionable that it will take on the influence of what it consumes. SO NO ALCOHOL OR DRUGS! A Pisces Moon is NEVER EVER the time to be under the influence of anything except Spirit with a capital "S" and ESPECIALLY during a New Moon in Pisces. A person like myself with a South Node in Pisces has to always be aware of the influence that all chemicals have on their body. I can't tell you how many times in college during one of my chemistry classes that I ended up rushed under the shower. By the way, every chemistry classroom has a shower to quickly rinse a person who has been contaminated with chemicals. Even the fumes under the 'hood' in chemistry class took me into the ethers (and not the spiritual ethers). Excessive alcohol, drugs and even junk food does not work for a Pisces, Pisces Rising, a South Node Pisces or those with several planets (a Stellium) in Pisces. Even in my line of work, I'm a holistic doctor with a natural approach to healthcare rather than a drug pill-popping induced stupor. This Pisces energy is SENSITIVE folks!!! And it is precisely this sensitivity with my South Node in Pisces that makes me a "clair-sentient" (intuition using feelings) and "clair-audient" (intuition, tuning-in using hearing/sonar). This Stellium is also what is making YOU so sensitive right now. Keep your system clean because this New Moon in Pisces can really feed your intuition.

Further, guess what sign rules chemicals, chemistry, chemical engineers and chemists? PISCES! Chemical abuse is NOT how you want to use this New Moon. And interestingly enough, this New Moon in Pisces lands on St. Patrick's Day. I don't know about anywhere else in the world, but in the U.S., this day is loaded with alcohol, drunkendess, drunkards, parades, and all things connected with partying. I am a non-drinker and only drink non-alcoholic beer (since I am a South Node Pisces) but I will be out there on this date serving alcohol to those buying it. My friends and I have a small non-profit, so we raise money and give it to children's educational resources, schools, etc. So yep, I will be in the thick of this 'alcohol action' with a clear, present and aware brain the whole time. Pisces is a very spiritual and imaginative sign coupled with intuition and dreams. This is the energy that needs to be tapped. When we are without Spirit (capital "S") then our spirit (lower case "s") is void of a connection. It's like we are out of gas, electricity, food or even Love. Whatever the connection is that makes us 'go' is lost without Spirit connecting to our spirit. This Pisces Stellium needs to be used to get your spirit connected with Spirit so you can once again co-Create. Get your spiritual groovey on with this energy. God is the Creator (capital "C") and we are creative (lower case "c"). We must co-Create. If you turn all ego-centered and go it alone without Spirit, then you are in for one long ride. YAWN! Make certain you include spirituality in the mix of your Life. This is an opportunity to show Spirit what and who you really cling to in this Life. No pouting and puffing out your lips like a fish ....get up and make things happen for yourself and invite Spirit to fill-up your spirit.

Channeled negatively, this Pisces New Moon can bring out massive drama and theatrics since Pisces is the Academy Award winner of the zodiac. This is interesting how this years Academy Awards had the Sun conjunct Neptune both in Pisces. Awards season is ALWAYS during Pisces season and the celebrities were bringin' on the drama.

No one tells a better big fish story than a Pisces! It's imagination baby! When channeled appropriately (positively) it uses spiritual strength, spiritual guidance, faith, compassion, intuition and sentiment. Channeled inappropriately it makes a slippery little fish who pulls a great escape (the Houdini act) and swims away at the slighest splash. This is a time when you need to get 'hooked' on spirituality and use it appropriately and faithfully in your Life. This is a trust thing. If you are so dang spiritual, then show it and stop giving it lip service (all talk and no action). Often times that fish swims away so fast because it lacks trust and it doubts. With one flip of the tail it swims off in the other direction. Oh no my little fishies, stick around, tune-in like a Tune-ah-fish and use Nep-tune to your advantage. Act like you are a tuning fork, play with your ears and tune-in your spirit to the Great I Am (Spirit).

During this Pisces New Moon we all have a heightened ability and opportunity to integrate our spirit into this physical world. We have become too physical and need to reconnect with our spirit with Spirit. Folks, this is deep stuff (like the Ocean) because Pisces rules the Ocean and that's DEEEEEEEP! All too often we hear, "I am a spirit being in a physical body" . . or . . "I am a spirit being having a human experience" . . yeah, yeah, yeah . . alright already! Sounds nice, but when are you going to really live in a spiritual way rather than allow yourself to get so caught up in such physical world antics as if this were all there is? If you are so spiritual, you don't have to convince anyone, JUST BE IT! It's one thing to say it, but to actually tap that part of you and get, the get, and make it work for you is a whole other storyline.

This New Moon in Pisces is accompanied by Mercury conjunct Venus, which is a very friendly aspect and brings out the best in people. This placement reveals that grace in speech and writing skills since this aspect expresses itself so well. It's a great time to sit down and have that conversation or write that e-mail or note that you hope will help someone else understand you better. This aspect reveals a soft or musical quality. The JUICIEST NUGGET in this entire New Moon in Pisces set-up, is the Sun trine Jupiter aspect that was exact just four (4) days earlier but the energy is still very much present in separating degrees, with a 03 degree 45 minute 'orb of separation'. The Sun (which is actually a Star) and Jupiter (a planet) are the two biggest cosmic bodies in our Solar System. When you put these two cosmic bodies together BIG things happen because by nature they are too BIG not to be noticed. When these two heavenly bodies are trine there is an incredible amount of abundance and blown out of proportion energy. You do not know how to do anything small, only BIG and YUGE. Whether you Love him or loathe him, President Trump has this aspect with the Sun trine Jupiter. He is also known for saying, "Since you have to think anyway, you may as well think BIG!" Seriously, the man cannot think small. IT'S IMPOSSIBLE! This aspect ALWAYS gets what it wants. It just does! When the Sun is trine Jupiter, there is success, Good fortune, luck and helpful people. For all Taurus's this New Moon in Pisces impacts your 11th house of friends, acquaintances, groups, social networking, VIPs, organizations, memberships, long distance travel, the future, your hopes and wishes. What you need to do is go plunk yourself down in the middle of a herd, so you can be heard. All too often Taurus stands on the periphery at a party and just moo's as others walk by.
