The Full Moon Lunar Eclipse in Leo at 11 degrees occurs on Wednesday, January 31, 2018 at 6:27 AM EST. This Full Moon is so spectacular it is really hard to mess it up. In order for there to be a Full Moon, the Sun and the Moon have to be directly opposite each other (180 degrees apart) which means that the Sun and the Moon 'have to be' in opposite Sun Signs. So this Full Moon is in Leo with the Sun in Aquarius. Leo and Aquarius are opposite signs.

I have been asked about the Mars in Sagittarius influence on this Full Moon Lunar Eclipse in Leo more than any other planet. If you look at the downloadable chart wheel (see link above this sentence) you will see that Mars is within 08 degrees of this Full Moon and both are in fire signs, which means this impact is a trine. This is not a hard aspect, it is an easy one. This is not a pissy and aggressive hit to the Full Moon, it is an assertive hit in just the right amounts where you are able to motivate yourself because you have the confidence to do what it takes to get the job done. You are able to recognize opportunities and make the most of them. In other words, you can rise to a challenge. The Moon trine Mars has strong feelings, which are controlled and constructive. The Moon trine Mars lights a fire under your seat that assists you in taking action on your intuition rather than pushing it aside and doubting it. The impact from Mars to the Sun is not close enough to make an aspect. It is out of the 'orb of influence'. Even still, if it were closer in degrees, then this would be a sextile aspect, which is easy and effortless energy. A sextile is not as wonderful as a trine, is easy and effortless energy, but less than a trine. Let's just say for arguments sake that this Mars energy was close enough to impact the Sun.
