VENUS IN AQUARIUS

Venus moves into Aquarius on December 7, 2024 until January 2, 2025. Venus transits a Sun Sign right at about every 30 days and sometimes up to 60 days depending on its motion, meaning if it involves a Retrograde or not. If a Retrograde is not involved with Venus in a calendar year, then it can make its way through all 12 Sun Signs in one year. In this case Venus will 'not' have a Retrograde in play during this time.

Venus is naturally the co-ruler of Taurus and Libra. Venus through the sign of Taurus rules self-worth, earned income, personal possessions, value system, morals, values and one's own thoughts regarding sex, including masturbation. It also rules banks, banking and personal debt. Venus through the sign of Libra rules committed relationships, marriages, contractual unions, agreements, partnerships, law, judgment, open enemies with the public (lawsuits), litigation and legal binding agreements and/or negotiations.

The Venus glyph is the upright symbol of Mars, where Venus is feminine (yin) energy and Mars is masculine (yang) energy. It is represented by the circle of spirit over the cross of matter. This means someone who has their Sun in Aquarius, will have their Venus within 2 Sun Signs on either side of Aquarius or it will be in the sign of Aquarius. This means there are five possibilities that an Aquarius Sun Sign individual might have their -- Venus in Sagittarius, Venus in Capricorn, Venus in Aquarius, Venus in Pisces or Venus in Aries. Now when you couple Venus, the planet of beauty, music, Love, self-worth, earned income and personal possessions with the sign of Aquarius then this creates a sort of distancing oneself from what is normally extremely important to others, which would be money, materialism and close intimate relationships. Venus is the planet of Love, romance, pleasure, self-worth, dignity and all things beautiful. Now when you couple the Sun Sign Aquarius with the planet Venus you get unconventional and odd Love. This placement wants to be friends with everyone, but not THAT friendly, meaning not too personally connected. Aquarius is a highly independent and rebellious sign and it would be wise NOT TO even attempt to tie down someone during this transit, especially someone who is full-blown Aquarius. In fact, never attempt to 'tie-down' an Aquarius because arms and legs will be flailing and tables will be turned over in rebellion-hellion.

I have Jupiter in Aquarius in my Natal Chart, which is THE MOST freedom Loving planet (Jupiter) in THE MOST freedom Loving sign (Aquarius). Everything I think about and do is based on my freedom. Don't cling to me! Those who have highly freedom-necessary charts (as I do) will not tolerate for a moment being told where to be or how to act. Even being tied down to daily chores and projects is a bit of a stretch.

Watch the masses because the Love of socializing, social media, gadgetry and electronic toys will receive more attention that a physical person will during this transit. Check your personal natal chart to see where Aquarius is and you will see where you simply need more space and elbow room.

Having said all of that, the worst thing anyone can do during this transit is even attempt to tie down another person 'as if' they are responsible for your happiness. Venus in Aquarius will slide their hand down their arm and say, "Don't cling to me." And I sure as hell wouldn't show up at a Lover's house unexpected and without calling first during this transit. It's not even a Good idea to call and say, "Where are you?" or "Where were you?" Venus in Aquarius may not even acknowledge that you asked that question because its none of your business to know Venus in Aquarius's personal business. How's that?

Unless a couple knows the question(s) are just curious and not suspicious, and respond out of 'relationship courtesy', the whereabout watcha-doin' questions can be a real problem.

Everyone needs space and independence right now as this transit moves over us. Now listen, this does not mean you are not Loved or you don't Love. This is just a time when people need space and room to breathe. Sometimes there are relationship break-ups before the end of the year, but if Venus in Aquarius is present (as it is this year) then the likely reason will be that the other person simply needed some space. If someone says, "I need space" then that is exactly what they mean. Just back off a bit during this transit. A little absence will make the heart grow fonder.

My Jupiter in Aquarius kicks this Venus in Aquarius's butt when it comes to, "Don't cling to me." When you couple up with another person and have a strong Aquarian energy that likes to come and go as they please, then it is best to couple of with someone who can handle it. Venus in Aquarius does have friends of the opposite sex. So that friend is probably just . . . A FRIEND! "Don't cling to me and stop asking questions!" This is a fantabulous time to turn your energies to getting to know people and networking yourself for the future. Why? Because Aquarius RULES THE FUTURE. Uh huh, that's right! Aquarius is so futuristic that it rules hopes and wishes. Aquarius is so futuristic that it is THE MOST innovative and inventive sign of the zodiac. Always thinking ahead, down the road and to the future is Good ol' Aquarius. This energy Loves to mingle, make connections and rub elbows, it just doesn't want to HAVE TO do it. It doesn't want to HAVE TO do anything "Get away! Don't cling to me!" Shake and bake! Movin' and groovin'. Livin' Life and Lovin' it! I said, "Don't cling to me!" Are you getting the picture here?

Aquarius is known for being very impersonal, aloof and distant emotionally. If you walk into a room and you are coupled up with an Aquarius or someone with a strong Aquarian chart, don't expect them to stop talking to acknowledge your existence because it isn't going to happen. They know you are there. Alright already! And by all means, do not try to engage in PDA (public display of affection) with Venus in Aquarius. "Don't cling to me!" If you play the needy and emotional card, then you will be home alone and don't think for a second that neediness will win friends or influence your Lover during this transit. If you are in sales, this is a wonderful transit for you because emotions won't get in the way. And if you sell electronics, gadgets or anything that runs on electricity, well then your sales may soar if you play this card right.

Aquarius rules electricity and electronics, so people will have a "Love of" for these gadgets during this transit and will be in the market to make a purchase. Maybe they don't even know they are in the market and that is where you come in to remind them what they need. Steve Jobs had Mercury in Aquarius and that man knew how to communicate to people what they needed. SELL! SELL! SELL!
