FULL MOON IN GEMINI

Full Moon in Gemini on DrStandley.com This is the Full Moon of 11's where the Sun, the Moon, Jupiter and Neptune are all at 11 degrees. This Full Moon in Gemini will be at 11 degrees 40 minutes on Sunday, December 3, 2017 at 10:47 AM EST. This is your 6th month check-up to the New Moon in Gemini that occurred 6 months ago on Thursday, May 25, 2017. What was that 'new beginning' or 'fresh start' that you initiated back then that had to do with your style of communication, manner in which you learn, transportation and travel within your own locale, state or country. This Full Moon serves as your 6th month check-up to see how you are coming along with that plan. You should be well into your project or well on your way into turning over that new leaf. There are 6 months until we come upon a 'new' New Moon in Gemini, so this Full Moon in Gemini is the halfway point.

A Full Moon is when the Sun and the Moon are in opposite signs. The Sun is in Sagittarius and the Moon is in Gemini and will be exactly opposite (180 degrees) across the chart wheel from each other. Download the chart wheel for the Full Moon in Gemini here! Now take this Chart Wheel and lay it over your personal Natal Chart lining up the degrees and signs so you can see where this Full Moon in Gemini impacts you personally at 22 degrees rather than as an entire population under one Sun Sign.

Since this Gemini Full Moon is impacting you somewhere in your chart, then it is VERY important to understand how Gemini operates. Let's just contemplate quietly everything that Gemini rules so we can grasp the broader picture of what this Full Moon in Gemini means for us. Above I mentioned, this Gemini Moon has to do with your style of communication, manner in which you learn, transportation and travel within your own locale, state or country. Gemini rules basic learning and education grades 1 through 12. It is a rare experience to hear a Gemini throw around $50 words. (Donald Trump and myself!) Gemini's keep the conversation simple and will enter into $50 word banter when it is appropriate or when the audience can relate.

Gemini

Here is my usual example of Gemini simplicity --> I was at a holiday party once and was asked about Acupuncture and how it works. I proceeded to explain it in simple Gemini terms using my 'fork in spagetti' and 'log in a creek' example to explain electrical current, the body's response and why there is no blood. After I finished those listening had an, "Ohhhh, ah haaaa" look on their face. I could see they understood. Another doctor there standing a few feet away quickly followed-up with the more technical definition of electrical current and myofibrils, which left this small audience of listeners bewildered. You see folks, we Gemini's use the KISS Method . . . A LOT! KISS is an acronym for "Keep it simple, stupid". The KISS Method is a design principle created by the U.S. Navy back in 1960. The KISS principle states that most systems work best if they are kept simple rather than made complicated. Kind of like Occam's Razor (Ockham's Razor) which states, "Among competing hypotheses, the one with the fewest assumptions should be selected." If you saw the movie, "Contact" there were many references to Ockham's Razor. Dang I wish I knew Ockham's birthdate! I would Love to know if he was a Gemini. A Gemini does not overstate the obvious, but our counterpart (opposite sign) Sagittarius will build you a clock if you ask them what time it is. If I am in a situation where I need to rattle off neuro-feedback loops and use $50 words, then I can go ahead and dance that number, but why if those listening don't understand it? This is why on this website you will see me use simpler terms to explain Astrology (like now) instead of using terminology that falls on deaf ears.

Gemini

This Gemini Full Moon is definitely not looking for trouble or a hard time. Gemini will take the easy train every dang time because . . . why not? Capricorn will take the long, arduous, one-step-at-a-time route, whereas Gemini will skip several steps and run doing it because . . . why not? As a Gemini, I always say my daily motto is, "Easily and effortlessly NOW!" Not tomorrow . . NOW! I also say the reason why I am so organized is because I'm just too damn lazy to look for my keys. There is no way I would use my precious time searching for keys. I just don't dig on that kind of living or logic. As a Gemini, how that could even be a choice for someone? But that's me, Gemini! Gemini energy wants easy, not hard, so staying organized is the KEY to simple and abundant living. Gemini is all about EASY, EFFORTLESS and NOW! Gemini is logical, rational and it has to make sense in order for Gemini to embrace it.

When we put two and two together on the things that Gemini rules such as; our style of communication, manner in which we learn, our transportation and how we travel within our own locale, state or country. You can see that Gemini energy is a mover and a shaker. Zippity-doo-dah, taking names and making contact. This is why Gemini rules marketing, public relations, sales, selling, traveling sales and getting the word out. Like him, hate him or Love him, Donald Trump (a fellow Gemini) says the reason why he likes Twitter so much is because he wants to get the word out FIRST. Gemini beats the newspapers to the punch. The newspapers don't rule the Gemini, it's the Gemini who rules the newspapers. That's one Gemini who will not allow other communication sources (media) to control him, even if his Twitter tends to run amuck. Good luck media catching up with this guy. The media will be Trump's puppets, not the other way around. I wrote that exact same statement last year. Gemini rules broadcasts, newspapers, media, billboards, books, computers, editors, handwriting, writing, messengers, messaging and messages.

Having said all of that, nothing will piss off a Gemini more than a lack of communication, lazy communication or yelling communication. You don't have to yell at a Gemini because believe me, they are listening to every word you are saying. If you yell, you can kiss your communication with Gemini "Good-bye." If you can't communicate or won't communicate, Gemini will give you a chance (actually two chances, its a duality thing) and then just stop after that because Gemini does not waste their time on something that is hard that should be easy. If you are really special, then Gemini may try a third time to reach you but that would be rare. No callbacks, no response, so you can wave to Gemini good-bye. Oh my gosh . . I am sooooo like this! Gemini does not like phone calls or texts ignored, knowing that it takes seconds to respond. Gemini also can't stand unanswered RSVPs. That's a sure-fire way to get yourself removed from future invites. I am so like that too! So if communication is too much of a big deal for you, Gemini will stop, shift gears and move on in another direction without batting an eye. There is no shaking off the energy because it's already gone. Gemini will consider that you do not value the communication and just move on. Gemini is all about the 'exchange of communication' and 'exchange of information'. It takes two people to communicate and Gemini knows this.

Gemini communicates directly to another person without a mediator. Gemini also communicates directly with the public. Gemini's like to communicate and feed off whoever is listening. This is why I like those phone calls from you so much because it keeps me in communicate with you. Now listen, I'm not looking for any arguments just because I mention President Trump, you are going to have to deal with it because I sure as heck can't be afraid to mention his name if someone doesn't like him. If you are going to learn Astrology, then deal with it. He's the most famous Gemini right now and the perfect example of taking his words straight to the people (Twitter).

So as you move forward with this Full Moon in Gemini, think of this in terms of communication, body language, mental abilities, simplicity, transportation and how you get the word out, market yourself, promote yourself and make your way around to all the bases throughout your day (transportation). Gemini is all about sales, promotion and marketing, and it uses communication devices and whatever transportation it needs to get the job done. Sun square Neptune on DrStandley.com

This Full Moon in Gemini is accompanied by an exact square to the Sun squaring Neptune at exactly 11 degrees 30 minutes, where the Sun and the Moon are at 11 degrees 40 minutes. The Sun square Neptune is the classic 'deceive others or deceive yourself.' In other words, this aspect has you seeing yourself as you want to see yourself, but not as you really are. Every single person needs to check themselves constantly under this aspect so that the ego does not become inflated or disillusioned with grandeur. This could easily turn into self-ingratiating actions. You must continue to accept spiritual responsibility with clarity, humility and grace. Grace is unearned favor. Interesting enough, in order to calm down and keep from getting too big in the head, Mercury or Saturn need to be embraced in order to enact some common sense, mental clarity, responsibility, groundedness and self-discipline. Mercury Retrograde (Rx) in Sagittarius on DrStandley.com

Interestingly enough, Mercury also turns Retrograde (Rx) in Sagittarius on this date (December 3 until December 22, 2017). So while the Sun square Neptune is asking us to utilize Mercury or Saturn in order to gain some mental clarity, the planet that rules the mind (Mercury) is moving backward in degrees. So we really need to look back in time to see who we have become, what we did and what path are we on right now. You see folks, I never see Retrograde's (Rx's) as a bad thing. This is where God gives us a 'Do Over' and we get a chance to right ourselves, not once, but three times before we progress forward. The Mercury degrees move forward, then they go backward going over the same degrees we just experienced, then Mercury turns Direct and travels over the same degrees a third time. Mercury Retrograde 'will not' take us back into Scorpio, so this Mercury Retrograde is all on Sagittarius. Make certain you read and re-read the monster-size write-up for Mercury in Sagittarius. If this Mercury Retrograde is not addressed appropriately, then it can really cause issues where you shouldn't have said, shouldn't have done, shouldn't have signed, shouldn't have agreed to, shouldn't have gone to, shouldn't have showed up at, shouldn't have called, shouldn't have texted and shouldn't have a lot of things. By the way, Saturn is friendly to Mars and Uranus during this Full Moon, so embracing structure, discipline, stability, responsiblity and maturity will help you immensely.

This formation of a T-Square is requiring us to find the 4th wheel because the three points of the T-Square is like driving a car with three wheels. We find the 4th wheel directly across the chart from Neptune in Pisces (the apex of the T-Square). The area on the direct other side of the chart is Virgo energy, which rules 'activities of daily living'. Whlle there are no current planets transiting Virgo right now, the energy of Virgo is still on the other side of the chart wheel. Go to Virgo energy and engage in your 'activities of daily living' to keep yourself on the stable, firm and focused path. This would be your health, fitness, nutrition, hygiene, work, work ethic, volunteerism, co-workers, employees, the hired help and daily organization, regimen and routine. This will keep you focused rather than telling yourself what you want to hear or telling other what you want them to hear that isn't True, which is the Sun squaring Neptune and deceiving yourself or deceiving others. LOOK IN THE MIRROR! Who are you? Jupiter Trine Neptune on DrStandley.com

Jupiter trine Neptune at 11 degrees is also playing a role here since Neptune is squaring the Sun at 11 degrees, and the Sun is opposing the Moon at 11 degrees, and the Moon is squaring Neptune at 11 degrees. It's one big circle, or should I say 'triangle'. So Jupiter trines Neptune at 11 degrees leads us in direction of and in the way of the monastic Life. If we can turn this energy into ourselves and get a grip on ourselves, we will come through this energy with newfound peace, awareness and a deeper sense of self, our mission and our purpose. This aspect can help you get in-touch and in-tune with your intuition so that the answers you seek will come from within.

If you download the chart wheel for the Full Moon in Gemini you will see the Sun and the Moon directly across from each other at 11 degrees with a green line. All of the oppositions and quincunx's in my charts are with a green line. Then you will see the Sun and Neptune in square as indicated by a red line. All squares in my charts are with a red line. The Sun looks like a 'target' with a circle and a dot inside of it and Neptune looks like a 'pitchfork'. The Moon looks like a 'crescent moon'. So you see, the Sun, Moon and Neptune are all three (3) at 11 degrees and creating a T-Square. You will also see Jupiter trine Neptune with a blue line. All trines and sextiles in my charts have blue lines. Jupiter looks like a big blue '4' and Neptune looks like a 'pitchfork'.

So this Full Moon is accompanied by a lot of 11's - 11 degree Sun, 11 degree Moon, 11 degree Neptune and 11 degree Jupiter. Check your chart see if you have any planets at 11 degrees or if your Rising Sign is at 11 degrees, because this is where you will feel this Full Moon the most. Stay Astrologized™

Cancer will tell family secrets and their own personal secrets that should never be repeated to strangers, yet Cancer will do exactly that.
