![]() ![]() ![]() Saturn in Capricorn turns Direct at 1:12 AM EDT after having been Retrograde since July 1, 2020. Saturn will move out of Capricorn on December 17, 2020. The Moon in Pisces sextile Uranus in Taurus at 6:58 AM EDT. Lunar aspects have an 'orb of influence' of 12 to 14 hours 'before' and 'after' their exactness. Mars in Aries square Saturn in Capricorn at exactly 5:49 PM EDT where it began in applying degrees on September 4, 2020, it is exact today, and will last in separating degrees until October 24, 2020. The Moon in Pisces sextile Jupiter in Capricorn at 10:40 PM EDT. Lunar aspects have an 'orb of influence' of 12 to 14 hours 'before' and 'after' their exactness. The BIG NEWS TODAY is YAYYYYY! Saturn in Capricorn turns Direct. Now this YAYYYYY is coming from someone (me) who is living through their second Saturn Return. I have Saturn in Capricorn in my natal chart, so this is the second Saturn Return in my Lifetime. It takes 27-1/2 or 28 to 30 years for Saturn to move through all 12 Sun Signs. So our first Saturn Return (when Saturn returns to the same sign it was in when we were born) is between the ages of 27-1/2 or 28 to 30 years. Whether it is 2-1/2 years or 3 years really depends on how long the retrogrades is during its whole trek through the signs. So the second Saturn Return will be when we are between 57-1/2 or 58 to 60 years old. Saturn moved into Capricorn on December 19, 2017 until March 21, 2020. So for me I was actually 56-1/2 years old when my Saturn moved into Capricorn. Then Saturn moved into Aquarius on March 21, 2020. Then Saturn Retrograded and re-entered Capricorn on July 1, 2020. Saturn will leave Capricorn on December 17, 2020. Almost 3 years to the day minus the 3 months and 9 days that it was in Aquarius. So this go around with Saturn in Capricorn was appproximately 2 years and 9 months (2-3/4 years). If we live long enough, we will experience three (3) Saturn Returns in our Lifetime. Lucky us huh? Actually, each Saturn Return should get easier simply because we get older and wiser. Saturn is the old crony of the zodiac. The Sun spends about 30 or 31 days in each sign. Okay, there's February at 28 or 29 days. The Moon spends about 2 to 2-1/2 days in each sign taking only one (1) month to roll through all 12 Sun Signs. Mercury spends about 15 to 60 days in each sign depending on if there is a retrograde, and if not, then Mercury usually stays in a sign between 15 and 17 days. Venus spends between about 23 to 60 days in a sign depending on if there is a retrograde. Mars stays in one sign for about 6 weeks but can last up to 6 months like it is doing right now with Mars in Aries due to a retrograde. Jupiter stays in one sign an average of one year including with a few month retrograde. So it takes approximtely 12 years to experience your next Jupiter Return. Saturn stays in one sign for about 2 1/2 years to 3 years including a retrograde during every year. Uranus stays in one sign about 7 years including a retrograde every year. Neptune stays in each sign about 14 years including a retrograde every year. Pluto stays in each sign between 14 and 25 years including a retrograde every year. This time around Pluto is in Capricorn for 16 years - from October 2008 until January 20, 2024. So needless to say, I'm pretty dang tickled that the end of Saturn in Capricorn is nearly over, at the same time I have to say that Saturn in Capricorn has been very very very Good to me. Don't think I haven't had my share of frustrations and challenges, but I gotta say, Saturn has been dang Good to me. I'm also clearly in a pattern. I didn't start college until I was 27 years old. I stayed 8 years including summers. Racked up three (3) B.Sc., degrees and (1) doctorate and a bunch of post-doctorate studies. Well, this time around during my second Saturn Return, exactly one (1) month to the day after Saturn moved into Capricorn, I signed up for my 1st 200 hour YTT (yoga teacher training) in 2018. In 2019 nearly the same time period I took my 2nd 200 hour YTT. And then in 2020 I completed my 3rd YTT only this one was a 300 hour. I also opened a yoga studio in 2019. I also earned several other certifications and earned my 'E' which basically means 'experienced' and requires 1,000 hours to get it. Talk about history repeating itself. I made incredible changes in my Life and they all had to do with career. HELLO, Capricorn is the sign of CAREER and Saturn naturally rules Capricorn. By nature, I'm a worker-bee and over-achiever. I know, whatever! LOL! I worked hard during my second Saturn Return. Now those of you with Saturn in Aquarius will experience your Saturn Return for the 1st or 2nd or 3rd time. You would be between the ages of 27 to 30, 57 to 60 or 87 to 90. We all had a little dose of Saturn in Aquarius from March 21, 2020 until July 1, 2020 when it poked its head out in Aquarius. Saturn is the taskmaster and is pretty damn serious. And here's the thing, Saturn is actually the ancient ruler of Aquarius. Uranus is the modern-day ruler of Aquarius. So Saturn is pretty dang comfortable in the sign of Aquarius as well. So cool. Still, even though Saturn has been Good to me (he really really was) and even though I worked my ass off, I'm a wee bit tired. I could really stand a vacation or some kind of relief that involves sand between my toes and shopping spree. I feel it coming but you know . . COVID. LOL. I gotta tell ya' though, Saturn really really likes it when you work your ass off and you are too damn busy to complain about it. Complaining is bad anyway (don't do that) because it just speaks of ingratitude. So there is still 2 months and 3 weeks left of Saturn in Capricorn. Put your foot on the gas pedal now and PRESS HARD. Work like you have never worked in your Life. I MEAN PRESS DOWN AND MASH. Show Saturn you are Good for what you are seeking. Got it? Do not let up. WORK! Today we also experience Mars Square Saturn which is the classic contradiction. LOL! So I just said what I said and I feel like I can hear a roar of, "Yeah but . . . " NO! No yeah but's! I get it, you want to move forward but feel held back. I get it but you must mash on the gas and keep going to bust pass the brick wall. Do not be tricked by the illusion of what you think is happening. You must go with your gut. This is because Mars is impulsive and aggressive, while Saturn is self-limiting and restrictive. It will take some managing on your part to control this energy in order to get it to a workable level. You may feel action-oriented to do something and then suddenly talk yourself out of it because of this or that. You must press forward and go with your gut. If your gut pulls you back, then okay because that is intuition, but if you feel compelled to move forward, press on the gas because feeling compelled is also intuition. Trust yourself. This aspect will require you to use your intuition. Make sure that you take proper precautions as well with your work or projects. Mars is aggressive and you will need to take extra precaution to protect yourself because this aspect 'can be' accident prone. Wear safety glasses, hold on to the handrail, etc. This is not a warning but yet, it is. I'm leaning more toward occupational hazards because Saturn naturally rules the 10th house of career and Mars can be rather impulsive and too quick to pay attention to the necessary safety details. This aspect can also result in broken bones. Also watch the skin and teeth because both are ruled by Capricorn and Mars may bring a broken tooth or cut on the skin . . something on the skin or teeth.
