The BIG NEWS today is Mercury in Scorpio opposes Uranus in Taurus. This aspect is saying, "Eh eh eh, I don't wanna hear it. Talk to 'da hand." Everyone might as well zip their lip where politics are concerned because no one is changing their mind during this aspect. Especially since the two (2) signs involved are Scorpio and Taurus, which are both fixed signs. These two (2) signs do not change their mind anyway, not easily that is, much less change their mind when they oppose each other. If one of them change their mind then that means that someone won and someone lost, or someone was right and someone was wrong. It means that one of them agreed with the other, and that's not happening.

This aspect began its 'orb of influence' in applying (approaching) degrees back on September 27, 2020, it is exact today, and will last in separating degrees until October 29, 2020 when the two (2) planets pull far enough apart in degrees where they do not impact each other anymore. Well, at least until Monday - October 19, 2020 where they will aspect each other again since Mercury turns Retrograde on Tuesday - October 13, 2020 causing Mercury to backtrack over the same degrees it traveled only to repeat some energies like Mercury opposing Uranus. It's almost like the Universe is saying on October 13, 2020, "Let's go over that again. Are you sure about that? Is that your final answer?"

So while this aspect does not only apply to politics, you might want to rehearse, rethink, reshape or realign with what you profess to believe. I do think this aspect will hold you accountable for what you profess to believe and whether you are living within the boundaries of that belief system. It reminds me of a celebration I was invited to clear across the country. I'm sure I have told you about it. If not, here goes.

It involved plane travel for everyone and then renting a car to drive two (2) hours north to the location, at our expense of course. There we were, my girlfriend and I, seated around the bonfire listening to academia wailing about 'the carbon footprint of people'. PEOPLE MIND YOU! How dare people live their Life and get about the planet. FOR SHAME! Nevermind we ALL flew across the freakin' country, rented a car and drove to get to that location to flippin' CAMP! There we were, my friend and I, the only two asking the most important questions, "HEY, how did you get here? What, did you walk? What do you think the carbon footprint of this entire shindig is? Do you think an ounce of thought went into that? It doesn't appear as though any of you cared that damn much about your carbon footprint and stayed home 'cause here you are! Stop pretending as though you care so much."

Well, as you can imagine, that went over like a lead balloon. Basically it was my friend and I calling hypocrites, hypocrites, without saying, "You're all hypocrites and we're not apologizing for renting a gas guzzling fast convertible either!" Humans! Hmmmm, we might not be as self-actualized as we think we are. Funny! It might be helpful to ourselves to look within and see just how deep the hypocrisy sits within our own souls.

This aspect will be challenging you to look within, especially as we watch a new Supreme Court Justice get confirmed while this aspect is fully present and then retrogrades taking us back over the same set of degrees that just occurred for Round 2. Heck, you might find yourself all in favor of 'Freedom of Speech', but wait a minute, don't say it that way or write about that subject. You might be all in favor of practicing any religion you want, but don't bring it around your children. Oh my gosh, I could go on and on here, but I'm hoping you get the picture.

My point is, I think the Universe (God) is bringing back Mercury opposing Uranus for a double-whammy at the end of the month to ask you, "Are you sure?" because whatever you profess to believe, you will be held to it. Folks, this is deep stuff. Stay sober, emotionally, mentally, physically, spiritually and chemically. There are some wonderful aspects occurring this month, but I think they are contingent upon you having your wits, act and sh-- together. Keep your eyes on the October 2020 Astro Memes.
