Venus in Taurus conjunct Uranus in Taurus at exactly 3:37 PM EDT where it began in applying degrees on February 28, 2020, it is exact today, and will last in separating degrees until March 17, 2020.

Today we experience two (2) major aspects. First, the Sun conjuncts Neptune, which is 'the pure channel' where intuition is at its highest. I mean this aspect is tuned-in and turned-up! In fact, as long as you do not dive down into 'doubt, worry, fear or anxiety' then you will have no problem sensing and sourcing your intuition. While fantasy does play a strong role in this aspect, it can be used as a creative channel or as a way of escape. Have you ever tried to hold on to a fish. Well, it's slippery and it can make a great escape in the blink of an eye. Whoosh, it's gone! This 'pure channel' when mischanneled, misdialed or misunderstood can cause you to be unclear of your own identity. Try to use your creativity rather than escaping through addictive behavior. Alcohol and recreational drugs during this aspect will just ruin it, but sadly a whole helluva lot of people who do not think they have an issue with alcohol simply cannot or will not show up in a social atmosphere without it. This aspect can cause you to 'hear things' at such sensitive levels that others may not necessarily hear it. As a South Node Pisces, this is exactly how I am. A few years back I was out in Sedona, AZ staying at the Enchantment Resort in Boyton Canyon, which is the site of one of the many vortexes. I almost could not stand it. As a clair-sentient, I am so sensitive to sound that others cannot hear, that I just about lost my mind. As we ventured out on a hike behind the resort and into the canyon, the buzzing of the vortex sounded like I was standing under wires. The entire hike all I heard was buzzing. When a South Node Pisces embraces this unending bottomless pit of intuition, it 'can be' maddening. This 'clear channel' may come in many forms. For me, I am clair-sentient (feeling) and clair-audient (hearing). For you, it might be something different such as clair-voyance.

I also receive what I call DLGs or Musical DGLs (Downloads from God), which could be something along the lines of music, celestial music, angelic music or vibrational sounds. It's also quite possible for clair-audient individuals (like myself) to experience even more or higher intuition, which comes through sound, rather than images or feelings. This aspect easily connects to the spirit world on deep levels. This placement also shows up in the clairvoyant, clairaudient, mystics, psychics and mediums or those who are deeply connected to their intuition. The next close to this aspect (the Sun conjunct Neptune) would be the South Node Pisces (like myself) who also has these same connections. Lucky me! On the negative side, this aspect (the Sun conjunct Neptune) can become self-deluded brought on by fantasy and imagination. If you go down this path, you could lose touch with reality becoming useless to yourself and others. This could also be detri'mental' if you drink or do drugs because the confusion of the mind would be too much to handle when you are already dealing with the invisible and spiritual realm.

The second major aspect occurring today is Venus conjunct Uranus, which creates romantic attractions that are so sudden that it is the classic placement for 'falling in love' literally. This is how two people meet, get engaged after two weeks, then move in together. It is the classic 'sudden attraction' with Uranus being the culprit for the 'sudden change in circumstance' and when attached to Venus, you get odd, unusual, crazy Love.

The problem with this placement is that the attraction is so sudden and so fast that not so soon afterward the excitement wanes and the freedom (or spell) that initiated the interest has now moved on. This aspect does not allow anyone to curb one's sense of freedom. It tends to get bored and restless in a traditional style of relationship and needs room to breathe. This aspect seeks fun, spontaneity and intellectual stimulation from a partner. Think intellectual stimulation due to the planet Uranus, which rules Aquarius, who carries the motto, "I know therefore I am." Venus conjunct Uranus needs to be recognized as an individual within the personal relationship. The independence streak is very strong in this aspect and it cannot be negotiated out.

The aspect also makes for the life of the party and for one who is quite popular among friends, groups and even mere acquaintances. If there is a party or stimulating experience, this aspect will make you show up.

Another problem with this placement is that it can mistake a lover for a friend and a friend for a lover because of Venus naturally ruling Libra and the 7th house of committed relationships and Uranus naturally ruling Aquarius and the 11th house of friends. There are some natal charts that will require the partner to be a friend, but this aspect is not set up for longevity (Saturn influence). Venus combined with Uranus makes a sudden break in the relationship occur as quickly as it started. What started as a wildfire, can end just as quickly with a bucket of water and a hose.

DO NOT schedule first dates around this aspect, especially while Mercury is Retrograde because the relationship will not last. Do not test this theory (actually astrological fact) because this aspect will not be able to be be connected to just one person. While they certainly fall in love in haste, they will NOT marry in haste because that would be giving up their romantic freedom. So an elopement is highly unlikely. Sounds fun and crazy, but highly unlikely. Uranus is a very freedom-loving planet and needs room to bolt, like a lightning bolt, at a moment's notice. The individual with this placement in their natal chart should have a very long engagement to ensure the longevity of a marriage.
