The Moon in Gemini square Neptune in Pisces at exactly 11:11 AM EDT. Lunar aspects have an 'orb of influence' of 12 to 14 hours 'before' and 'after' their exactness.

The day begins with the Moon squaring Neptune. Even though this is occurring nearly at midday, remember there is a 12 to 14 hours 'orb of influence' before and after the exactness of a lunar aspect, so we are feeling this aspect right when we wake-up.

I'm actually glad this aspect is showing up at the start of the day instead of at the end of the day. This is the lunar aspect can show up as 'the drinker' or 'the enabler'. This is where that one family member comes draggin' in after being gone all weekend and you do what you do. Or maybe, you are taking a swig of the 'hair of the dog' yourself. Maybe this has nothing to do with alcohol, and maybe it has to do with money. Maybe you over-spent and now the electric bill is due. Maybe you have been treating money as an addiction rather than as a tool. Neptune is the planet of drugs, alcohol, fantasy, imagination, addiction and mental health. Neptune is also the higher-octave of Venus and Venus rules the 2nd house of self-worth, personal money and earned income, and Venus also rules the 7th house of marriage, committed relationships and partnerships.

The Moon naturally rules the emotions, feelings, moods and sensitivities, while Neptune rules mental health, imagination, fantasy, the surreal and unreal. This is why the Moon square Neptune is prone to heavy moods and bouts of depression. Often times this aspect will leave you without a grip on reality and often times sinking further and further into fantasy and imagination. In other words, this aspect runs away with the imagination. The Moon squaring Neptune can leave you so confused that you have trouble separating fact from fiction. The loss on reality is so great that depression sets in and everything around you becomes disorganized, out of order and downright dirty. The clean watery elements become more like a cesspool of emotion. This is where the escapist tendencies come into play. So, do you see why I'm glad this aspect is showing up earlier in the day than in the evening where the energy will begin to wane after its exactness and become weaker as the day progresses.

Coupling Mars assertion and drive with Aquarius we get an intense desire for freedom and independence because Aquarius is THE MOST freedom-loving sign and here we are, quarantined within our own home. It doesn't bother me because I like being home. I haven't left in over a week (for anything). This can turn into quite a rebellion and cabin fever when Mars in coupled with Aquarius and everyone is left to their own devices (internet gadgets), so watch the news for rebellious outbursts from the masses, groups, friends, memberships, sororities, fraternities, children's organizations or networking sites. This energy can easily morph into riots when the critical mass is reached.

This Mars in Aquarius energy has that same energy of people protesting in the streets, but then again, it could go the direct opposite way where people learned their crazy-in-the-streets never really does work and it's time to deliver on their bright ideas rather than stomp their feet around, wear disguises (that's real brave) and burn sh--.

How about dig-deep and contribute to the spin of the planet through your own bright ideas? Protest reveals a lot of opinion and not enough bright ideas. I suspect this Mars in Aquarius will reveal less opinionated chatter and a lot more bright ideas, especially since Saturn has just entered Aquarius. It's a double-juicy shot of geniusness in the sign of Aquarius.

Aquarius rules lightning, so while it is easy to predict how far away you are from where lightning strikes after you hear the thunder, I guarantee there is nothing predictable about Mars in Aquarius. So, it's hard to predict how this will roll out, but reformation will take place whether you agree with it or not. This is the placement of 'the reformer', so you can expect that this will 'not be' business as usual. Everything is going to change and Mars in Aquarius will see to it. The fixed sign of Aquarius will not take "no" for an answer. Mars in Aquarius will get very very pushy with what it knows. After all, the motto is "I know therefore I am."
