Today the Moon in Capricorn conjuncts the Sun in Capricorn and creates a New Moon in Capricorn. Conjunction junction what's your function?

Conjunctions are when two (2) planets are sitting side-by-side in the same degree and same sign. The 'orb of influence' counts if they are within 10 degrees of each other. Conjunctions intensify the energy of the planets involved. In this case, it is the Moon and the Sun intensifying each other, which creates the NEW MOON. If the Sun and the Moon were in opposite signs, it would a FULL MOON. Big difference!

New Moons are a time of fresh starts and new beginnings. It's wonderful energy. Since it is Capricorn Season, which rules the highest point of the chart (the mountain, the top of the ladder, top of the food chain), this would be the career, profession, occupation, craft, vocation, rank in society, status in the community, fame, recognition, and what you are known for above all else.

If you click back just a couple of days ago we saw the Sun trine Uranus and Mars sextile Saturn exact. And look at the 'orb of influence' of both (below). Notice both aspects last through today's date, so we can COUNT ON both aspects showing up on today's New Moon in Capricorn chart wheel. You can see the blue solid trine line with a little blue triangle on it going from the Moon and the Sun in Capricorn over to Uranus in Taurus. There is only a 01 minute and 33 difference with the Moon and the Sun at 20 degrees 44 minutes and Uranus in Taurus at 19 degrees 11 minutes.

You can also see the blue dashed sextile line with a little asterisk on it that goes from Mars in Capricorn to Saturn in Pisces.

And it's easy to see the blue solid trine lines with a little blue triangle between Venus and Mercury in Sagittarus to Chiron and the North Node in Aries. That North Node in Aries is ALL ABOUT identity, I am therefore I am."

This NEW MOON in Capricorn has a lot of support for you being yourself, BUT if you are going to turn egotistical, conceited, self-absorbed, vain, narcissistic, bragging and proud, then this NEW MOON will give you the attention you seek so desperately, but it may not be the attention you expected.

Folks, look closely at the chart wheel and you will see the Moon, the Sun and Pluto conjunct, sitting side-by-side. The Moon and the Sun are at 20 degrees and Pluto is at 29 degrees. A conjunction occurs when a planet is in the same degree, same sign, but the 'orb of influence' is also within 10 degrees.

So the Moon, the Sun and Pluto are all within 10 degrees. The Sun moves 01 degree every day, so notice below, the Sun conjunct Pluto began yesterday, Wednesday, January 10, 2024 and will last until January 30, 2024 because on January 20, 2024 the Sun and Pluto will BOTH move into Aquarius. The Sun and Pluto will be conjunct in Aquarius.
