Well, just think, a week from today Mercury in Aquarius will turn Direct. Mercury has been Retrograde since January 30, 2021, which brought us back to the past for a 'do-over'. In other words, we get another crack at something a second and third time before we progress forward. This is because a planet moves over a certain set of degrees as it traveling along. Then it Retrogrades and moves over that same set of degrees but now backward. Basically it is retracing its steps. Then when it turns Direct, it moves forward again going over those same degrees a third time. So you see my dear little Astrotators, Retrogrades are not such a bad thing when you realize they are here to give you a mulligan, a do-over, a second and third chance before progressing forward.

Mercury began its Retrograde at 26 degrees. At this writing Mercury has made it back to 14 degrees and will keep traveling backward in degrees until next Saturday - February 20, 2021 where it will end its Retrograde traveling at 11 degrees. The last time Mercury was at 11 degrees was on on Friday - January 15, 2021. Now why would the Universe want to bring us ALL back to January 15, 2021. Mercury is a personal planet, so make this personal. Check your calendar, pull up your old calls and texts on your phone, check your receipts, look at your bank account and credit cards to see what you were doing and where you were on that date. For some reason the Universe is taking us back to Friday- January 15, 2021 for a do-over before we progress forward. If you check your Life, this Retrograde will make more sense to you. If you choose not to check your Life, then this Retrograde will serve only as a time to complain and moan about how hard your Life is due to Mercury Retrograde. You will have missed the nugget.

Next Saturday - February 20, 2021 Mercury will turn Direct at 11 degrees and will begin traveling forward again moving over the same degrees it traveled over the first time forward and the second time backward. So you see, Mercury (the planet of communication and transportation) is a big hairy deal and requires personal attention. The impact of this Retrograde will not be complete until Mercury returns to 26 degrees on March 23, 2021, which is the degrees Mercury was at when it first turned Retrograde on January 30, 2021.

Check the Memes below because before you know it, Mercury will prepare to Retrograde again by slowing its energy down about two (2) weeks before the next Retrograde. And Mercury ALWAYS Retrogrades three (3) times a year. Also the outer planets - Jupiter, Saturn, Neptune, Uranus and Pluto ALL Retrograde for several months every single year. So when you see a load of planets Retrograde in the late Spring and during the summer, that is nothing unusual and occurs every single year. Venus and Mars typically Retrograde once every two (2) years, the rest of the planets, it's every single year. SURPRISE!

Today we also experience two (2) major aspects as Mercury conjuncts Venus at 14 degrees and Mars sextiles Neptune at 19 degrees. Mercury conjunct Venus is a very friendly aspect, which brings out the best in people. Well thank God, huh? And on a weekend with such high expectations. This aspect is a Good listener as it is fully present in a conversation. You know how sometimes you can be thinking of what you will say next before the other person is finished talking? Well, this aspect does not do that. It listens and enjoys being in the conversation 'nicely'.

This aspect also lends grace in speech and writing skills. It's a great time to sit down and have that conversation or write that e-mail or note that you hope will help someone else understand you better. It's a great time to say, "Honey we need to talk." If you write, produce or play music, this is the time to make that recording. Get it down on paper or audio. Hum a few bars into a recorder to that you do not lose that moment of creativity.

There is also a knack for negotiation or mediating because Venus rules the 2nd house of personal finances and the 7th house of committed relationships and/or partnerships.

This conjunction does come with an affliction from Mars and Uranus in Aquarius, which a reminded you about on the New Moon in Aquarius on Thursday - February 11, 2021. That tough energy is still present and has the ability to flatten this energy. So the beauty of this aspect has the potential to be ruined by one single stupid insensitive comment. It can also make one fickle in relationships unable to find a comfortable landing space.

Mars sextile Neptune is the placement of super-human strength, which can be used to heal others as a medical-intuitive or in a physical healing profession. This would be like 'Wolverine' who could heal himself, but this sextile is used to heal others in the same way, either emotionally, mentally or physically. There may be some sort of 'clair' gift that may show up as a clairvoyant, clairsentient or as a clairaudient. This aspect will energize with its Mars influence your psychic nature with the intention of doing the most Good.

Remember, this Mars energy is squaring the Aquarian planets, which if you are not mindful or careful, you could lose this energy by one stupid comment or act and it all goes down the tubes. You HAVE TO BE mindful in order to embrace today's energies because the squares Mars and Uranus to all of the Aquarian planets written about on Thursday - February 11, 2021 are still very much present.

The most interesting part of this aspect is Netpune is the height of compassion and empathy, which creates the ability to sense others insecurities. When coupled with Mars, the planet of competition, it gives the ability to out-maneuver (in a strategic fashion) your opponents without them creating bad blood or bad vibes. Neptune naturally knows what goes on behind-the-scenes, so the out-maneuvering may be taking place behind the scenes or under top secret conditions.
