The BIG NEWS today is Venus in Cancer trines Neptune in Pisces, and remember a 'trine is sublime', which is better than 'fine'. And Mars in Taurus squares Saturn in Aquarius, which is 'squares beware'. That right there looks like a contradiction in 'the contradiction'. It kinda looks like the overall picture is, "He/she Loves me, he/she Loves me not." It's kinda like when I tell my Scorpion King, "I Love you right now" because in the next breath he could drive me up a wall and I might not feel so head-over-heels in Love. (winky wink) You get it, I know you do.

Plus, why would God plant both of these aspects exact on the same day and have their 'orb of influence' overlapping each other nearly the same amount of time? What gives?

Now see, this is why esoteric-babble interpretation doesn't speak to me or tell me a thing. It's almost like the esoteric-babbling-interpretor is actually uncertain of what is really going on, or won't take the time to figure it out (the puzzle or riddle) and then translate it into some useful information that the masses can use instead of a select few who speak esoteric-babble. I want to know what the heck am I suppose to do with these aspects and I know you want that too. So let's figure it out!

So let's pull this thing apart and dissect it since we are in over-analyzing, detailed and methodical Mercury in Virgo. By the way, here comes my North Node Virgo at you . . . it's not die-sect. It's dis-sect. Dissect. Dissecting. Dissection. Dis- means pull apart or section away from something else. Dis-section, not die-section.

So today Venus trines Neptune at 12:43 AM EDT. This aspect began on July 31, it is exact today, and it will last until August 13, but you already knew that (right?) from keeping up with the August 2022 Astro Memes. Notice below in the Astro Meme how the couple's feet have lifted off the ground. Remind you of anything? Maybe Tom Cruise leaping up on Oprah's couch when he fell head-over-heels in Love with Katie Holmes? We have all probably been there. When it's over-the-top, it's usually over-the-top and what goes up, must come down. And sometimes, it comes crashing down, as their relationship finally did.

This is an incredibly romantic aspect for Love because Neptune is the higher octave of Venus. And let's remember, Venus not only rules committed relationships, marriages and partnerships (7th house), it also rules our self-worth, money, earned income and personal possessions and net-worth (2nd house).

This is such a romantic aspect it could have you jumping for joy and over-the-moon where Love and/or money is concerned, but you must use your practical and reasoning mind.

TRUE STORY! I know a guy who lost everything to a woman 'he thought he was' having a relationship with, but never received one thing from her. Not a compliment, not a thank you, not a kiss, nothin'. And I mean NOTHIN'. When she whimpered, he ran to her. No one could tell this man anything on how he was being used. It was awful watching him lose his home, his car, his money, everything. It's been years and he still barely has a pot to piss in as a result.

Anyone can blame her, but either an individual is in control of their self, home, car, money, Life or not. At the same time, no one should be less of a person having come under your influence.

This aspect jumps over the Moon in Love (or in response to money) without thinking. The head is so far up in the clouds that you really can't see clearly.

By the way, did you know that Venus is actually a cloud covered planet? It sure is! This fact supports a lot of Truth in Venus where too much of a Good thing, isn't.

Venus trine Neptune is too kind, too sensitive, too generous, too sympathetic, too empathetic .... it's pitiful, okay! SNAP - OUT - OF - IT! You could easily be taken for granted under this aspect, including taken for granted with not only Love, but money as well.

If you want to use this aspect, then use it correctly. There are healing powers with this aspect that are associated with Faith healing. This is where a person 'with Faith' can be healed by Faith alone because the Love from Source (God) is so deep, respected and committed.

Keep in mind Neptune rules the Ocean, which naturally rules Pisces and this aspect involves Neptune in Pisces, it's home placement. This is super-dooper-Faith-Healing.

Now back to the third sentence of this write-up. "That right there looks like a contradiction in 'the contradiction'." Meaning, here we have Love and Money at different octaves trine each other, but then too much of a Good thing isn't.

Both aspects today could have you standing in-between do and don't . . . I do or I don't . . . do I or don't I . . . I will or I won't . . . where you find yourself saying "yes" and at the same time wondering why are you saying that and telling yourself to speak up and say "no". This is not the best weekend to get married. I would be interested to know how long a marriage lasted that took place this weekend.

This Mars square Saturn aspect is really tricky folks because it will answer your question with a question, just to trip you up. Good luck getting a straight answer with this aspect hanging overhead, like a bundle of clouds.

Mercury wants to move forward because Mercury is fast and wants to get there, either by car or by conversation, it just wants to get to the place that it wants to be. It's like sitting at a stop light grinding your gears trying to move forward but the car won't move forward.

Saturn limits and holds back and restricts. So you see, this energy can't seem to get it going. In a conversation, the question doesn't get answered because the question is answered with a question. The question and answer could look like this . . . "Do you want to go to the store with me?" . . . "Why? Do you think I don't want to go to the store with you?"

You are left standing there wondering what the hell kind of answer was that? Where did that come from?

This can also be the question that negates itself . . . "Do you want to go to the store with me or not?"

This can be seen as the Socratic or Maieutic Method developed by Socrates where you use reasoning (questioning) to realize that the answer was inside you all along. This is where you keep asking question after question, which helps you solidify the answer you already knew.

In the above example, this aspect restricts communication at every turn. It carries negative thinking because Saturn is restrictive and limited, so when coupled-up with Mercury, the conversation is limited and it questions at every turn.

Saturn is 'the most' pessimistic planet, while Jupiter is the most optimistic. Hey, in Saturn's defense, you have to have a negative (which is not necessarily bad), but the opposite thinker in order to have practical, sensible and reasonable thinking and outcomes. That's why Saturn is the way he is. He doesn't doubt and confront what is said just to be difficult, he's just not buying everything that is sold. I have Saturn in Capricorn natally and find Saturn to be very useful. He keep my Jupiter in Aquarius (extreme optimism) in-check.

Still, boy oh' boy, it is tough to communicate with someone who asks questions in their answer. Do not take this personal if you have to communicate with a Mercury square Saturn individual who has this natally because they are the one who is trying to find certainty within themselves, not certainty in what you say. There is a big difference. Do they or do they 'not' want to go the store? So then I guess this aspect is 'The Maieutic Method'. And therein lies the contradiction again. This aspect is . . . but isn't. Funny!

So folks, you get to decide how far you want to play the question and answer game. You can see how this could be a problem for money and Love this weekend or during this time as these planets are in the 'orb of influence'. If you can just take yourself to 'The Maieutic Method' [pronounced may-u-tic] then it will help you understand that you are 'reasoning' and it will help you understand that others are 'reasoning' and it will help the communication on both fronts.

Your level of communication will grow Light years during this 'orb of influence' if you can/will understand the method behind the questions. Imagine, changing your frustration in the communication toward reasoning, then the confrontation or challenge falls away with its own weight.

So again, if you change your frustration in communication toward reasoning, then the confrontation or challenge will fall away with its own weight.
