The BIG NEWS today is a collection of three (3) completely different aspects of which at least one (1) of them will grab your attention and hold on to it. I choose my words deliberately, so read that sentence again.

Notice from the Astro Memes below that Uranus is involved in two (2) of the three (3) aspects. Uranus tells us that some strange, odd and unusual twisted is occurring. Unusually twisted 'to me' is like taking a breadstick and twisting it into a pretzel. Pretzels come in all kinds of shapes and varying amounts of salt. That's Uranus for ya'!

As far as Mercury (the mind and communication) conjunct Uranus (twisted, knowledge) line-up, we can see that this translates into 'the expert'. This is not like the know-it-all, who knows a little bit about everything. This aspect has so much knowledge about 'a' certain subject that they are the expert who is called to testify, or the one paid so highly to solve the problem no one else can unravel or decode. Is this you? We are all experts at something.

Venus (Love and personal money) sextiles Uranus (kinky, odd, unconventional). Maybe this aspect is not grabbing your attention with regard to relationships at all. Maybe this aspect is grabbing your attention with regard to earned income, personal money and self-worth. After all, Venus rules Taurus (self-worth translated into net-worth) and it also rules Libra (committed relationships and contractual partnerships). So maybe this aspect does not scratch deeply at your bones with regard to relationships, but it does where money is concerned. It could be where you choose to invest, use or spend your money is odd and unusual. What you think holds 'value' may be completely different than what someone else holds as valuable.

The word kinky can be viewed not only as wildly and weirdly sexual, but it can viewed as complication, as if throwing a wrench into the action and creating kinks. This reminds me of 'the slap' at the Oscars. Now listen, I'm not out to debate this on social media because I could give a rats ass about the 'Smiths' marriage, but when you have an 'open marriage' (the Smiths) and then slap someone and yell out, "Keep my wife's name out your fuckin' mouth" then maybe an opened marriage was not such a great idea.

If we are talking 'kinky' then tongues and other body parts should be a problem in the wife's mouth, or wife's body parts are in or out of a boyfriend(s) mouth. I don't know, isn't turnabout fair play? This is such a graphic aspect that I have chosen to deliberately not use a graphic and just use words to describe it on the Astro Meme. Just because this is a sextile, does not mean it's a great idea to get hyped up over words that come out of someone's mouth because the real devil is in the details, which is the open marriage the Smiths are known for having. And Mr. Smith had a problem with WORDS and not body parts? Interesting. Venus sextile Uranus can twist and kink you into trouble.

Right here below, I found this quote to be a massively profound grown-up statement. This really addressed society and their over-sensitivity to 'words'.

Then the Sun (identity, ego) squares Pluto (power, research, control) and wants to throw its weight around. The Sun is so big that it is not even a planet, IT'S A STAR! I know, we call it a planet, but it's really a star. Everything revolves around the Sun. Since every one and every thing is ruled by a Sun Sign, this aspect will cause many to think the world literally revolves around them, including what they do and what they say. This is the ol' BECAUSE I SAID SO aspect. That's a red flag for someone like me to start throwing wrenches into the cogwheels of someone's plans that basically says, "NOT".

In addition to these aspects, note how long they last in applying (approaching) and separating degrees. And above all else, note how you act and react in these aspects. Maybe one of them grabs your attention, and maybe you hold on to it with all the energy you can muster. Maybe you hold on so tight that it throws you off base, off kilter and off your own path and you do something crazy and career shattering like . . . slap someone because they said words.

Other than that, once we get passed the Moon squaring Saturn, which is depressing, melancholy and a pity party, the day rolls out pretty well with the trines and sextile to the Moon to wrap up the day.
