A New Moon is when the Moon conjuncts the Sun. On Tuesday - May 15, 2018 at 7:48 AM EDT the New Moon is in Taurus at 24 degrees 36 minutes. A New Moon is when the Moon and the Sun are in the same sign and same degree. In other words, they are conjunct, like conjoined twins and a conjunction intensifies the energies of the planets involved. Throughout this monster-size write-up, I want you to notice how much Uranus and Aquarius are surrounding this New Moon in Taurus. Interestingly enough, Saturn is the ancient ruler of Aquarius, while Uranus is the modern day ruler of Aquarius. Uranus is also the higher octave of Mercury. No matter how we slice it, Aquarian energy keeps dominating the surrounding energy of this New Moon in Taurus. It's almost like we can't get close to this New Moon unless we jump through all of these Aquarian/Uranian hoops! It is also true that Taurus is a fixed sign and so is Aquarius. These two fixed signs square each other and cause these energies to lock-up and refuse to budge on their position. So what does the Universe do about it? The Creator says, "I'll show you! I'll put Uranus in Taurus and really rattle your cage! You will be so uneasy with this natural squaring energy that you would rather accept the challenge of change than stay fixed!" The other BIG NEWS today is Uranus moves into Taurus. Other than a short stint where Uranus turns Retrograde and moves back into Aries from November 7, 2018 until March 6, 2019 . . Uranus will be in Taurus for the duration until April 25, 2026. Here is something super-dooper interesting. Uranus moves into Taurus on the same date as the New Moon in Taurus on May 15, 2018. Next year, at the end of Uranus Retrograde back into Aries, Uranus will re-enter Taurus on March 6, 2019 on the same date as the New Moon in Pisces. So both times Uranus enters Taurus twice in its first year, it occurs on a New Moon. It will be interesting down the road to see why our Creator made this occur in such a way. I don't know about you, but these are not just coincidences in my world.

The easiest way to remember Uranus is that it is the planet of sudden change. ZAP! Fast like electricity. A fast and furious jolt. Folks, I'll tell you right now, there is NO getting back to normal when Uranus creates a change, especially a sudden change. I always hear a lot of people saying things about Uranus making changes and then things getting back to normal. NO NO NO . . . it doesn't work that way. Nothing stays the same once Uranus changes it. There will be a new normal whether you are ready for it or not. So when it comes to Uranus in Taurus, even though it is NOT close enough to touch this New Moon directly, it is in the same sign and you will likely feel changes in the house that Taurus rules. He rolled gangbusters full of enthusiasm from the minute he woke-up, he was ready to go without thinking or blinking an eyelash. If you needed courage, this aspect kinda has it because it rolls without thinking that it even needs courage. It is dangerous, accident-prone and moves with reckless abandon. Something gets broke and someone gets hurt. The temper can easily grow out of control super quick as well, since of course Uranus (lightning) is involved. This aspect has the desire to overthrow established authority just for the hell of it and cause a revolution, just because it can. This is rebellion-hellion. The problem with those who do not have money is they tend to talk about what they don't want a little too much, thereby making what they don't want the focus, and perpetuating the cycle of lack. Taurus energy always considers what they do want and that's it, the mind is made up. Taurus energy is the focus of what they want, not what they don't want. Taurus is attracted to the best in Life. Even my 15 year old Taurus grandson would rather eat cherries jubilee or banana's foster rather than cherry yogurt or a banana sundae. He would rather have sushi or calamari than a Mrs. Paul's fish sticks. In fact, I don't think he's ever had a fish stick or fish out of a box. He would rather wait to have something he wants rather than settling for something not in his vision. And when it comes to food he would probably rather starve that have a corndog or boxed pizza.
