Today's Moon in Libra is accompanied by two (2) lunar aspects. Ooooopsie! Notice the first aspect has Pluto involved in a square. First thing you should be thinking is Pluto equals power and a square is like the energy of a box with four (4) sharp corners. It's not easy getting around the energy of a box without getting jabbed, unless you maneuver around it with situational awareness. Let's also keep in mind that lunar aspects have a 12 to 14 hour 'orb of influence' before and after they are exact.

So there you have it, the first half of the day is leading up to this challenging power play with our emotions (the Moon). The Moon rules our emotions, feelings, moods and sensitivities, and so it goes, there is always the per chance you are completely off your rocker and not dialing into yourself getting manipulated and torn apart by the abuse of power . . your own or someone else's.

How about if I remind you that Pluto is so deep into power plays and manipulation that he rules the netherworld, the underworld, jealous, cruelty, and envy. When you start feeling the 'prodrome' meaning the early symptom of this energy before its exactness at 4:48 PM EDT, then you know that Pluto is pulling on your pant leg doing its best to jack-up your day. This is when you have the opportunity to realize when the 'negative force' flew up your rear-end and took over your spirit. CREEPY!

Think about it for a minute, when you 'agree' to lose yourself and be overtaken by the negative force, you bought into the temptation. Pluto is all about tempting you. That's his game. When you find yourself jealous, envious, cruel, mean or becoming the temptor or trickster - "Oh please come on, do it, take it!" When that is said to you or you say it to someone else, Pluto has shown up.

Think of all these hoity toity authority figures who have been overtaken by Pluto and begin abusing their power. At some point they were 'sold' through temptation (Pluto). Remember the old saying, "The devil made me do it." ~Genesis 3:13 So before you wield your power and influence to manipulate or reign over others, think about what you are doing. The ego is mighty. Vanity is one of the easiest and most popular ways to reel people in. The social media newsfeeds are loaded with temptation and celebrity lures doing their best to plant a desire.

When you can keep a clear head and situationally aware spirit when Pluto arrives on the scene, the empowerment you feel is just AMAZING! He's a trickster but is so much easier to recognize when you are watching for the bait. Here's a Good read --> James 1:13-14. Keep in mind the trickster, Pluto, the negative force, call it whatever you want - never makes you do anything. You agree to it. And as Don Miguel Ruiz says, "When you buy it, you own it." Then read --> I Corinthians 10:13 for the gift.

So the gift is the 'transformation' because Pluto seeks to destroy, but he also rebuilds. Destruction into reconstruction is full-blown transformation and that is the wonderful side of Pluto. It's when you allow yourself to be destroyed or you try to destroy or successfully destroy someone else that Pluto becomes the problem. The nutshell . . learn through your bad decisions so that you turn this energy into transformation of the spirit.

Now that you have entertained Pluto, let's dive into the second aspect today. which is the Moon trine Jupiter, which is like a traveling party. If you lost sight of yourself during the first half of the day with Pluto, then the evening is set-up for - eat, drink and be merry. Jupiter can easily roll into the partier, gambler and one that over-does it.

Jupiter is really fun to be around. He's pretty much always in a Good mood and is looking to e-x-p-a-n-d whatever he touches. He's friendly, optimistic and is always seeking adventure or something new to learn. Since Jupiter is coupled-up with the Moon he's looking for a Good time.

If Pluto won you over, then you might blow off the rest of the day and get caught up in the party instead of the moment. This would be like the person who goes to the concert and takes so many pictures and records the whole evening that they actually missed 'the moment'. The full experience is lost because they were not 'present'. Maybe you overdrink and miss the great conversation that was 'supposed' to take place. The opportunity or idea is lost.

Jupiter e-x-p-a-n-d-s whatever it touches and so it's important to remember that the Moon square Pluto was exact just 15 minutes before the Moon trined Jupiter. So the Moon is essentially touching Pluto and Jupiter AT THE SAME TIME.

Wow, can you now see a lot of evenings (tonight) that are supposed to be fun can easily be ruined by temptation and over-doing it?

If you get past the Moon square Pluto, then the Moon trine Jupiter will help bring you to your goals. It will bring you a great time that you will remember in the morning without a hangover or having to stroll home in the 'walk of shame'. Damn! Been there done that!

The Moon trine Jupiter wants to be around others and have a great time. This makes me miss all of the friends our group lost in 2020. My close-knit group of friends literally lost a handful of friends in 2020 and none of them to C-19. And I literally mean 'a handful'. We would do ZOOM calls, have our drinks and snacks, and then we would have a 'scavenger hunt'. We would talk about our next fund-raising project, what we were all experiencing personally and professionally, and the size of our personal covid bubble. That's a perfect example of the Moon trine Jupiter - as Jupiter is very philanthropic, generous and civic-minded. Our group is definitely civic-minded.

Literally as I sit here typing this and as the Moon trine Jupiter is already in the 'orb of influence' with the 12 to 14 hour range, I just received a group text from this same group of friends. We met through our parish (church) and the text involves a gathering next week (at the church). See how this aspect (and other aspects) can reflect their energy?

This aspect enjoys the company of others and especially when altruistic, philanthropic and higher-minded conversations are taking place. Often times religious conversations come into play as Jupiter rules the 9th house of 'religion'. There is confidence, optimism and enthusiasm present.

So you see my dear Astrotators, you have choices today. The really great news with the Moon trine Jupiter is there is wealth attached to it. Luck and Good fortune are attached whether that comes through the home and family (Moon) or through the business world (Jupiter). You can easily miss it if you party too hearty or if you are set on seeking individual power, attention and greed (Pluto).
