The Moon in Libra conjunct Mercury in Libra at exactly 9:01 PM EDT. Lunar aspects have an 'orb of influence' of 12 to 14 hours 'before' and 'after' their exactness.

Today's Moon in Libra with the aspects shown (see above) serves as the perfect day to address a couple of things with regard to this website and my writing. Two (2) things have occurred, which have rattled my cage. The lunar aspects today make it the perfect time to just lay it out. Thank you Moon in Libra for being even-handed and fair-minded as that is my intention.

On Monday I was contacted by an Astrotator, which is what 'I' call those who read my writings, that a certain website had my Astrology content copied word-for-word. My entire content for the Sun trine Neptune was copied word-for-word straight out of my eBook 'Astrology Aspects'. As the Astrotator indicated in the email, the website is created entirely using copied content. I realize that my website is not the only game in town as you are searching, researching and finding yourself (and I support that), as I am more than happy to help you get to the place that you desire to be, but I will not be on-board with my work being copied and implanted on another website.

I contacted the non-original-content-writer (copycat) and my content was removed, although the person did leave my displeasuring comments at the bottom of the page in the comments section. GOOD! The individual stated that they did this in Good Faith as my website was noted at the very bottom of the article. What the copycat still did not realize was that my content was lumped in with several other well-known websites and there was no marking, footnote or contributing words that said 'this came from that website.' And, I have a problem with not being asked when I have my phone number on the contact section of this website and my social media is pretty much active. I'm pretty easy to reach out to.

Having said that, I have made the 'Copyscape' banners visible at the top of the each page underneath the domain name (DrStandley.com). The 'Copyscape' banners are also in the right-hand-banner colum (top and bottom). I generally do not show these banners. Copyscape is a service that I pay for where I can find out exactly which sites are copying my work. It's a super-tedious process because there are so many sites that do it. It appears that I will have to hire someone to stay on top of this because it is a HUGE ISSUE for all 'original content writers.'

What many of you might not realize is I absolutely DO NOT visit other Astrology websites. AT ALL. I feel more than confident in my writing and interpretation(s). I honestly believe that my work is a 'channel' for Spirit and often times I don't even remember what I write. Just like when I do phone readings, once we hang up, our conversation pretty much flies out of my head. When I write, I just sit down and bang it out, whatever comes to me.

I have written every single day, with the exception of a handful of days, since 1999. I have written from vacation, cars, public restrooms, restaurants, coffee shops, the side of the road, rest areas, beaches, hotels, camp sites, mountains, deserts, the side of the pool, the top of the hill over there where I could get a signal, etc. I have even written from hospital rooms, even when I was the one laying in the bed. You get my point. So, do I think a little respect is in order for my work. Absolutely! Will I get it from everyone? Not a chance. And I get that and so it goes.

This brings me to a Facebook 'friend' on my DrStandley Astrology who expressed her displeasure at me for the NEW content I have been adding to the website. She wrote a paragraph of insults and then made her name unreachable or unlinkable. In other words, she cut and ran. Brave huh? She made her complaint and puked up her insults and then did not have the guts to stand there and take my response. My Mars in Leo (rarrrrr) is not about to sit down and take punches.

There are too many people out there thinking that they deserve something from me or people like me who WRITE FOR FREE like clockwork every single day, which takes HOURS! I don't eat BS because I don't like the taste, nor am I afraid to stand up for myself. If you are going to come at me, have the guts to stand there in the fire with me or do not step into the ring. She said she has been coming to my website "for years" and accused me of "drinking the Kool-Aid" and said she would not be back. Well, I think she will be back because the angry people always come back. Do I sound cocky? Maybe. Okay. Yeah. I have been doing this a long time and have had my share of angry readers (as if I owe them something).

Remember back in October 2008 when I wrote the Pluto in Capricorn write-up and talked about the 'dark people' and how we would all be in the streets at one point or another with our fist-in-the-air somewhere between 2008 and 2024 (16 years)? Remember me addressing the woman who wrote to me and said, "How dare you say that about black people!" This woman saw in the writing what she wanted to see, but not what I wrote. Well I addressed that in the write-up. I let her know that black people do NOT have the beat on the word 'dark'. No one owns the word 'dark'. Heck, as a Native American, I'M DARK! Anyway, I left her name off that write-up but you can read more about that in the Pluto in Capricorn write-up if you wish.

For the woman on FB yesterday, in anger I did take a picture of her message, just as I did the one's where people wrote to me angry about what I said about the election, but I won't post it. I did, however, leave my response to her on yesterday's Daily Horoscope post on my DrStandley Astrology Fakebook page.

I will say this. I have NOT CHANGED MY MIND on the outcome of the 2020 Presidential Election. PRESIDENT TRUMP won and it will be proven. I was not wrong about this election outcome and neither was any other astrologer who came up with that interpretation. PRESIDENT TRUMP did win and it will be proven. I ABSOLUTELY will not backpedal one crank! I stand firm. The emails and private messages on FB are now over being private. If you come at me, be prepared to dance it out like grown-ups should. I'm actually a pretty nice gal, but that does not mean I will take any punches laying down. I stand up!

I have been asked several times if the woman who was angry over the 'dark people' writing in the Pluto in Capricorn write-up ever came back and apologized after the Ferguson riots or after the Native American's regarding the pipeline or after the Central America caravans at the southern border of U.S., with Mexico and other 'dark people' current events and the answer is no. I have not heard a peep from her.

I guess I'm at the point in my Astrology writing where I'm realizing what a thankless job it is 99 percent of the time. It's a job where you are committed to being there for the people to provide comfort and answers that make sense in their time of need, fear, chaos and strife. It's an exhausting job as I can tell you this morning I have been at this writing since 6:15 AM EDT and by the time I finish it will be 8:30 AM EDT (2 hour later). Writing this website is for you, for FREE. As are all other websites. And the advertising we content writers receive . . believe me . . NO ONE is getting rich off advertising dollars. Get that fantasy out of your head. It's a joke! And here' the kicker . . .

This website is a HEALTHCARE website and it is my professional blog as 'I' see fit. Not as she sees fit. My work is mainly doing health consultations and by the way, I do Astrology consultations and phone readings. So the woman who was so fired-up yesterday about my writings thinks this site is only about astrology because that is all she sees or visits. And that's okay too . . but I think its fair to throw out the reminder that it is my site and I 'get to' talk about whatever I want. God, health, astrology, Trump, chakras, gemstones, Spirit, fake news, Love, money, gratitude, affirmations, etc. Whatever I want. This site is whatever I want it to be.

Thank you for reading all that as I have to express this or it stays inside and it could quite possibly burn me out. I Love writing astrology, but I will not be a lay down. Oh if you want to know what a 'lay down' is, check the home page. It's a huge blue meme as you scroll toward the bottom.

Now to today's lunar aspects. The Moon trines Saturn at 12:29 PM EDT. This is a wonderful aspect that breeds self-confidence. See why this was a great day to write all of the above. (winky wink) I have confidence, so this aspect just added to it. This aspect will help you build a firm foundation because Saturn is all about foundations, grounding, stability and holding steady. Think of the Billy goat who holds steady for long periods of time and makes his move at just the right time while staring at his goal, the mountaintop. So this aspect will help you achieve your ambitions.

The Moon trine Saturn reveals a strong work ethic, not to mention a deeply serious work ethic. HELLO, see my writing above. LOL! I have a Capricorn Moon and Saturn in Capricorn, so my work ethic is pretty serious and unmatchable. I do the work and one person wants to copy it, while another wants to bitch about it. Go figure! This aspect helps you hold on to some common sense as you carry out your duties and obligations because you are being responsible. When it comes to business, this is the best lunar aspect to have because Saturn is all business and no monkey business.

Then the Moon will conjunct Mercury at 9:01 PM EDT, but remember, these lunar aspects have a 12 to 14 hour 'orb of influence' before and after their exactness. The Moon is intuitive, while Mercury is imaginative. The Moon rules the emotions, feelings, moods and sensitivities, while Mercury rules the mind, like common sense and logic.

This aspect links the thoughts (Mercury) with the emotions (Moon), which makes your choice of words more exacting as Mercury is the natural ruler of Virgo, the sign of 'exactness and detail'. In other words, you are choosing your words very carefully. Again, this is exactly what I did above. I'm fully aware of what I wrote and you can tell my emotions were involved with where my mind is.

This aspect is great when you need some creative juices flowing whether you are a bloggre (just don't copy someone's work), or if you are in communications, marketing, sales, promotions, etc.

This aspect is also great for the fitness industry because Mercury not only rules Gemini, the communicator, but it rules Virgo, the fitness buff. You may also give a lot of thought (Mercury) to health, food, fitness and dietary concerns because Mercury rules both Gemini (mental abilities) and Virgo (health and daily regimen.)

Enjoy your astrology today and make it work for you. There was no easy way to say what I needed to say, but since these aspects did make it easier today, I took advantage of the energy.
