The BIG NEWS today is the second day, where the Sun in Scorpio drops into the South Node in Scorpio and loses itself. What this can do is create a severe 'identity crisis' for those who have birth dates with the Sun and South Node in the same sign, or in their Solar Return. More on that at the bottom of this write-up. Also, I have been asked about the 'Stellium' in Scorpio that is present. First, let's define what a Stellium is so that we are calling things by their right names. There seems to be an issue these days in calling things by the wrong names. So let's start off by setting the record straight. My North Node Virgo LOVES detail, accuracy and precision. Did you know there is a 'Astrological Glossary of Terms' on this website? There has been for the 20 of 22 years that this website has been in existence. You will find on that link the definition for Stellium (Satellitium). Stellium (Satellitium): is a cluster of at least four or more planets in the same sign and same house. A 10° orb is a must if the planets are in different signs in the same house, if the planets involved were at tailend of one sign and the beginning of another sign. Some astrologers will consider a cluster of three or more planets in the same sign as a Stellium without consideration of the degrees or crossing over two (2) houses. I find that to be a 'reach' or a 'push' without considering the degrees. The occupied house and/or sign contains a tremendous intensity and complexity of energies represented by the planets involved. When a called 'Stellium' is spread out over two (2) houses, considering the strength and degree of the involved planets is important. Simply having an asteroid (like Chiron), an outer planet (Neptune, Pluto or Uranus) and a luminary (the Moon) I would not consider worthy of being dubbed a Stellium and especially if something like this crossed over two (2) houses. You see, that's NOT four (4) planets. It's not even three (3) planets. Even if it were four (4) heavenly bodies involved I would have to look at 'what is' involved. Having some 'real planets' involved matters!
So today we experience Mercury in Scorpio at 12 degrees, the Sun in Scorpio at 13 degrees and Venus in Scorpio at 17 degrees. Now come on! THAT is a Stellium, even with just three (3) planets and not four (4). We are talking three (3) personal planets here - Mercury, the Sun and Venus all within five (5) degrees. Also present is the South Node in Scorpio at 13 degrees, but let's be clear here, the South Node IS NOT A PLANET. It's not even a physical body or entity that you can see. The South Node in Scorpio is part of the collection of Scorpio energies present, but the North and South Nodes are not even physical bodies. They are intersecting points of the Moon that are super-sensitive points. So, technically speaking, the South Node is NOT part of the Stellium, because it's not a planet, but okay if you need to call it as part of the Stellium, I won't pitch too much of a fit. There's no harm in it. As the day progresses the Sun will move to 14 degrees, but it will still be sitting on top of this South Node and lose itself to the South Node. Not only that, but Mercury in Scorpio at 12 degrees is close enough to drop into the drain of the South Node, as well as Venus in Scorpio. The small Stellium of personal planets drops directly into the South Node and loses itself. Communication gets lost (Mercury). Identity gets lost (the Sun). Love and self-worth gets lost (Venus). The feeling of, "Who am I?" is what is left behind. This is just a bummer of a Solar Return for those with birth dates this weekend or surrounding it. Even more, we are in the 'orb of influence' of Venus squaring Saturn tomorrow, Monday - November 7, 2022. Venus squaring Saturn is the aspect that feels like no one Loves them, not even friends and family, which of course IS NOT TRUE. But it feels that way. The individual will believe that people just want something from them. It's just a horrible aspect. The rest of us who do not have birth dates around this time will feel these energies, but only for the time period of the transit impacting our Natal Chart or Solar Return, if it impacts us at all. ![]()
Make certain you check-in with the November 2022 Astro Memes because we are already coming into the 'applying degrees' of three (3) aspects.
Also, the Sun conjunct South Node aspect has been in applying degrees since October 26, 2022 and will last in separating degrees until November 16, 2022 although all Scorpio's will still feel this hard aspect no matter what degree of Scorpio you sit in.
When the Sun (identity, ego) drops into the South Node of the same sign, in this case Scorpio, this is when an individual loses themselves to themselves.
Remember, the South Node is the bottomless pit, or the drain, or the hole in the chart. The North Node is where your 'cup runneth over'. While the South Node is currently in the sign of Scorpio, the North Node is currently in the sign of Taurus. The Nodes are ALWAYS in opposite signs and ALWAYS retrograde. ALWAYS! The Scorpio/Taurus Nodes will last from January 18, 2022 until July 17, 2023. The Nodes always last 1-1/2 years before moving on to the next sign.
This could easily result in stagnation, depression, health issues, financial woes since Scorpio is a financial sign, it could result in reproductive health issues, including prostate issues in men. Scorpio also rules the sigmoid colon, rectum and anus.
All Scorpio's, regardless of your birth date, DO NOT press on this aspect and make Life worse for yourself. DO NOT cause yourself pressure, issues, angst or trouble. When the Sun drops into the South Node, the individual of that sign, in this case Scorpio, is their own worst enemy.
Granted, there will be some Scorpio's that succeed and reap a bottomless pit of abundance during this time, but the problem is, something will suffer. This would be like someone who wins the lottery and ends up losing everything. Or someone who works non-stop only to end up divorced or with health issues. You MUST NOT cause yourself trouble. Not even a little bit. IMPORTANT **This horoscope is no substitute for a prescription or medical advice. This horoscope is for entertainment purposes only.
