The BIG NEWS today is Mercury sextiles Saturn. I have been on a Capricorn/Saturn roll the past few days and today is no different. The mind (Mercury) sextile the taskmaster (Saturn) says, "Broke don't fix itself and talk don't cook rice!" In other words, thinking, intending and promising is a lot of lip service and doesn't fix anything. Saturn and Capricorn require 'work' and want something accomplished by the end of the day.

If Mercury sextile Saturn has to, it will throw some cold water in your face while you are still laying in bed. "Wake-up soldier! Your Life needs some fixin' and it won't get fixed without you present." Keep in mind Capricorn/Saturn rules the authority figure, so this Capricorn Moon is barking out orders, but maybe you are taking orders. Hmmmmm? So here we go again, Saturn wants you to be responsible, mature, prudent, and practical with some self-control. In other word, Saturn DOES NOT want to discipline a grown adult. That'll just piss him off and then he will take off his belt and swat your behind. See how that works?

This aspect is pressing you for mental discipline since Mercury rules the mind and mental abilities and Saturn rules self-discipline, self-control and self-regulation.

Mercury sextile Saturn is directly attached to work and career since Mercury rules the 3rd house of the mind, as well as the 6th house of work ethic and daily routine, and Saturn rules the 10th house of career and profession. Get to work!

Folks, this is not the time to skip work, lest you prove yourself to be replaceable, easily substituted, or worse, disposable. Saturn does not take kindly to wasting time, especially Company time, as Saturn is 'Father Time' and rules the Company, bosses, managers and executives.

Whatever you can fix right now, FIX IT! There are only a handful of days when this aspect is present and it will likely make your Life easier down the road when things are fixed, as in repaired and stabilized. It doesn't matter what it is, like anything else in Life, if you want something to turn out a certain way and in your favor, then show the Universe (God) that you are prepared to handle it. Become 'Mr. or Miss Fix It' during this aspect.
