What an emotionally wonderful day for Mother's Day (here in the U.S.). The lunar energy is spectacular, which is important because the Moon rules mother, the home, family, the homeland and our biological and psychological foundation. The Moon also rules our emotions, feelings, moods and sensitivities.

The day takes us through four (4) wonderful aspects and solidifies it on a fanciful note with the Moon conjunct Neptune. It's like locking the door or closing the window to hold the energy in on a high note. We do that in yoga with our mudras (hand gestures). It locks in the energy of our practice. So you can see the Moon conjunct Neptune in this way as conjunctions intensify the energy of the planets involved.

The day begins differently than you may have thought as Uranus turns the energy on a dime and goes in a different and unexpected direction.

The Moon will then sextile the Sun, which is perfect for growth and development and then trine Mars where action is involved. Granted the Moon trine Mars occurs late in the evening, so you may end up with a second wind and find yourself up later than usual. Keep reading . . .
