The BIG NEWS today is the Sun conjuncts Uranus, which occurs only once a year, so that's pretty special, and then Venus sextiles Saturn, which occurs mostly twice a year, but sometimes once a year. So we have two (2) special aspects today.

But before we get to the major aspects, note that there are four (4) lunar aspects occurring today, which will come and go within a short period of time. So pretty much the second half of the day, the lunar aspects will all be pulling apart in separating degrees. You may have mixed emotions due to these lunar aspects popping one after the other so early in the day - sextile, square, trine and opposition, although the first three (3) could be while you are still asleep, it's the remnants of the energy that could have you twisted with mixed emotions.

Back to the BIG NEWS today with the Sun in Taurus conjunct Uranus in Taurus. This energy pushes you to think outside of the box. If you have to literally get into a box to look out, then do that. Or maybe go into your bedroom and close the door, as if you were in a box, then do that. This aspect only occurs once a year, so that means it's a yearly rare aspect. Conjunctions have to be in the same sign and within 10 degrees of each other. Today the Sun in Taurus and Uranus in Taurus are exact at 23 degrees. A conjunction intensifies the energy of the planets involved. In this case, the planets involved are the Sun and Uranus.

It's not everyday people think outside the box, and usually when people finally do think outside of the box, it is because they are pushed, forced, pressed, stressed or desperate to find an answer, so they think outside of the box. It does not have to come to that, but it will have to be okay if it does.

Think of how you came up with some rather ingenious ideas when you were in a pickle. Maybe it took the strain of your brain in a tight situation to make you realize something so simple. Think of flailing in the water believing that you are drowning when all you have to do is stand up. Just like that. It's that simple.

Think of how massive the Sun is at 1,392,000 kilometers in diameter in comparison to Uranus at 50,724 kilometers in diameter. Now process this ---> conjunctions 'intensify' the energies of the planets involved. Since the Sun and Uranus are rubbing up against each other in a conjunction, then we can expect heat and rebellious-action. Not necessarily 'poof', but 'WOOF', much like the wind-blowing sound of heat rising up like you just turned on the grill or stove burner. WOOF!

It's gettin' hot in here! Now look around the country, look around the world, click around your newsfeed (TV and social media) and you will see . . . oh hell yeah, it's gettin' hot in here. Uranus has this ability to 'squeeeeezzzzzzze' what is needed out of a situation or a circumstance. Just like a tube of toothpaste getting squeezed.

Uranus is the higher-octave of Mercury, which is currently in the fire sign of Aries. Mercury rules air, Uranus rules the wind. There is fire in the air alright. Plus, air feeds a fire. Think of the recent solar flares.

The Uranus glyph represents the cross of matter confined at both sides where matter is being forced up from the bottom circle of spirit. Wherever Uranus shows up, it will force change in your Life. Matter is being confined from both sides pressing on it, almost like it is being squeezed, as if two (2) walls were coming closer together and closing in on 'matter' thereby confining the space of matter. It's almost as if 'the matter' (situation) is being squeezed out or even erased because it needs to be. What needs to be squeezed out or erased in your Life? Go ahead bring it to the surface and squeeze it out. It'll be like popping a pimple and over with before you know, (ewwwww), but yeah, it could be that simple. The squeeze is ON! Look around you and you will see THE SQUEEZE of Uranus not only personally, but on the grand scale. THE SQUEEZE ON THE PEOPLE! It's like toothpaste being squeezed out of the tube. The pressure!

This energy is so easy to identify because Uranus WILL give you the feeling of being squeezed out or erased from something only to squirt you into a different direction. Hey, if that's what it takes, if you are doing the same thing every day and expecting different results, then okay. Sometimes being squeezed out is exactly what you need.

As the squeeze continues, our spirit from the bottom circle will reveal what we are made of and we begin pushing up on 'matter'. It's just like squeezing toothpaste out of a tube. The spirit (our spirit) engages, pushes on matter and shows us just what we are made of and what we can do with our lives. I LOVE THIS GLYPH and Uranus. You might want to read-up on Uranus in Taurus again and look at your chart a bit differently where Uranus is concerned. Uranus is 'the squeeze'.

The Sun conjunct Uranus in Taurus, will cause you to burst with excitement. This is super-charged high energy, which will toss you like a rocket into the stratosphere, searching where no man or woman has gone before. The Sun naturally rules brave-hearted Leo, which means many of you are going places. Of course you can stand firm and refuse to budge. Go ahead and do that and see how far that gets you. See how well standing there doing nothing works for you. Prepare to witness how nothing gets done without you, when you do nothing.

This Uranus energy takes the bravery and will of the Sun, which is naturally ruled by Leo, to a new level of enthusiasm coupled with courage. Bravery is instinctual and reacts without thinking because that's the nature of the Sun, while courage perseveres through the fear. Fear requires that you think about it, which is not the same as bravery. Courage perseveres through the fear that crosses your mind. Read that sentence again and again until you get it.

Think of the high-powered energy of the Sun with its solar flares and the electrical nature of Uranus, then throw these two (2) in a bowl and mix them together. Think of the Solar Flares that have been all over the news. THE SAME THING occurred last year around this time (May 12, 2023), which is ALSO WHEN the Sun in Taurus was conjunct to Uranus in Taurus. The same thing!!! Pattern? You betcha!

The Sun naturally rules the sign of Leo, which is THE MOST enthusiastic sign of the zodiac with all its leadership and absolute contagious willful energy. Uranus naturally rules Aquarius, which is Leo's opposing sign. This means the Sun and Uranus are naturally opposing planets, but today they are exact in a conjunction. They are working together instead of apart.

Think of the conjunction as close as two (2) planets that are at 00 degrees apart because they are in the same sign, same degree and same minute. An opposition is when the planets could not be further apart.

The Sun and Uranus is actually a natural state is an opposition because the Sun naturally rules Leo and Uranus naturally rules Aquarius. Leo and Aquarius are opposite signs, which is the furthest they can be away from each other, but today, they are as close as two (2) peas in the same pod, which is the closest state 'in a conjunction'. It's crazy! Isn't that crazy! Come on, dont'cha think that's crazy???

This aspect is what gives dare-devils and big thinkers that extra heaping-helping of high-frequency energy where they can think and perform outside of the box. This is the sign of the rebel, which carries leadership qualities. It is not the rebellion-hellion misfit. This aspect pioneers, it invents, it innovates and it thinks-up what no one saw coming.

The Sun conjunct Uranus uses the laws of nature that others do not quite seem to understand in order to make things happen. It reminds me of the Star-Trek credo, "Where no man has gone before." This is the placement of the reformer. Good or bad, you get to decide how you will use this 'new way of thinking'.

While others on the receiving end of this energy may intepret the energy as arrogant, willful and even disruptive (Uranus influence), this aspect will handle Life and all the surprises that it has to offer. This aspect HAS TO HAVE a huge-ass ego in order to handle the energy. You can't be a playful kitten and roll this energy around like a ball of yarn.

Those who have this aspect in their natal chart will keep others wondering, "What the hell are they doing!?!" And if this is showing up in your 2024 Solar Return you will keep others on the edge of their seat. This aspect began in applying degrees on May 2, 2024, it is exact today, and will last in separating degrees until May 24, 2024.

When it comes to the Sun conjunct Uranus, somehow the rules seem to apply differently to those with this placement in their Natal Chart or Solar Return or to those who 'use this aspect'. That's always an option. You can use aspects when they transit your chart. Do you hear me? I also said, " . . or to those who 'use this aspect."

If you have this aspect or if you are using this aspect, these individuals are on a completely different playing field and know it. This aspect gives the strength, will and guts to try things that are new and different, meaning things that have never been tried before because the energy is being supportive of such action.

This aspect reacts suddenly, decisively, purposefully and powerfully. While others may not understand the individual using or having this aspect, the individual using it or having it, does.

The aspect can be used to break out of your normal way of doing things and leap into something new, different and exciting. This is the perfect aspect to channel nervous energy into a project or activity that has purpose. This is a results oriented aspect. Use it that way.

And finally, the little golden nugget here. Remember, this aspect occurs once a year. So while Uranus is in Taurus, this aspect will occur when it conjuncts the Sun in Taurus every year until Uranus finally moves out of Taurus, which is until Uranus moves into Gemini in 2026. Uranus has been in Taurus since May 15, 2018 and will last until April 25, 2026. So that's nine (9) years of Taurus's experiencing this aspect. Then it will be Gemini's turn.

Uranus moves out of Taurus on April 25, 2026 and then moves into Gemini, which means the Sun/Uranus conjunction will begin to roll through the sign of Gemini once a year during the Gemini Sun time frame until May 22, 2033.

Keep in mind, this aspect all the sudden slaps your ass and sends you off in another direction.

Look closely at the Astro Meme above. Saturn wants what is best for you, not the worst. Saturn does NOT simply roll bowling balls into your path for the hell of it. That's your drama thinking like that. You made a choice and Life has to unravel and straighten the path. The time(line) we create for ourselves is a direct result of the time (work) we created. It's that dang unraveling that gets us.

So much so that probably every single drop of our experiences is due to choices we made that got the ball rolling in that direction. Maybe you stayed too long, maybe you didn't stay long enough.

That reminds me of when I closed my practice (clinic) to create this website. I went through some pretty lean years to get to where I am now, but that is the price I paid for making the jump so quickly. I was not financially prepared for such a change 'at the time', but in my excitement and haste, I only thought I was prepared. It took me YEARS to right myself, but that was a choice I made. I lived with the outcome and just kept going and now here I am in full expression. Just like some of the choices you made, where you stayed too long or didn't stay long enough, it takes a while to right ourselves from our choices.

Venus sextile Saturn is the epitome of the couple who 'works' well together. If you don't like the word 'work', then look at is as the couple who 'coordinates' or 'gets sh!t done' together. We get a lot done on our own, but together, we can put something together with tiny little pieces, nuts, bolts, screws and washers, as a team without a bark, bite or foul word. Folks, we are in the midst of difficult times. Some of you know it and have been prepping for it, and some of you still don't believe we are in extended chaos. I had been writing to you during this aspect over the last handful of years that we were 'on the cusp of chaos'. Now I remove 'on the cusp' and just say, "we are in extended chaos".

We all need to pull closer to the people that we TRUST THE MOST in order to protect ourselves and those we LOVE THE MOST. Read that again.

It's funny, there are a couple of people who I do not necessarily Love THE MOST, but in a hard-fight-survival-mode atmosphere, you bet your ass I want those individuals on my team too. In tough times, I wouldn't want cry babies and drama queens on my team.

Your bonds need to be stronger and tighter than ever for safekeeping. We all have to encircle ourselves with people that we trust. And the people that you do have to say, "Don't tell anyone", they are not the people you should be telling ANYTHING TO because they have already told someone. Let that be a lesson to you.

Surround yourself or you and your partner with the people who will not tell your 'stuff' when the going gets tough. We really are at that point.

And whatever you find difficult, GET THROUGH IT! Whatever you are acting-out about, stop it! Knock it off! Don't go there! And whatever you do, DO NOT bitch and moan about others behavior under this energy because it takes away from you focusing on you. That's the distraction right there. When you or the couple is focused on others and what they are doing, you are not focused on yourselves. That would be one of those bowling balls.
