While there are only two (2) lunar aspects today, they will be pulling on our heart strings as the Moon in Cancer is in over-emotional, hyper-sensitive and moody. By the way, did you know that 'heart strings' is a real thing? The heart strings is slang for the chordae tendinae. They are tendinous cords that hold the atrioventricular valves in place while the heart pumps blood. They are strong cords, like bungy cords because they have a high degree of elasticity. Since so many people are suddenly learning about the heart due to the clot-shot (ouchy, but factoid), I just thought I'd throw that in since I mentioned the heart strings.

So interestingly enough, since Cancer carries the motto, "I feel therefore I am", Cancer is one of THE MOST intuitive signs of the zodiac, if one 'chooses' to channel the energy intuitively rather than emotionally.

If you choose to go overboard on your emotions, you are not leveling-up, you are leveling down, which causes you to be Earthbound, meaning you voluntarily hold yourself down or in the same place. You cannot rise or move forward engulfed in emotion, so you would be Earthbound. You would be stuck, unable to move forward and stuck in the past. Think about that the next time you want to ramp up your emotions to crazy status.

This is the time to get in-touch with your emotions, not hyperventilate. By all means, use this Cancer Moon to identify how you feel so you can act on it, thereby practicing and working your intuition.

Example - on the weekends, we work in the yard a lot. We also have the TV on golf all day. During breaks we come in and watch whatever tournament is on, especially during lunch break. So last weekend, I couldn't tell which golfer was on the practice putting green because his back was to the camera and his head was down, but at that exact moment, I was thinking about Bernard Langer and how I saw him at the PGA tournament in St. Louis years ago. I was thinking about how he was going down the line signing autographs but did not look up at any fans. He was just going from one person to the next. When he got to me, he held his hands out for a paper and pen and I said, "Oh no thank you. I don't give autographs." With that, he looked up at me and I just smiled. He went on to the next person.

First, I don't get autographs from people because I don't worship people. I find autographs to be super weird and completely egotistical. Think about it. Autographs are weird. I haven't always thought that way, but I think that way now.

Second, I didn't like that he wasn't making eye contact with fans as they waited for his autograph. It was my way of saying, "Don't assume I want your autograph, especially if you won't look at me." I was there only to watch some amazing golf. Needless to say, the tournament was cancelled that morning because of 9/11.

My point? While I was thinking about Bernard Langer, the commentator said, "Bernard Langer". That was him on the practice putting green. I told the Scorpion King, "Wow! I was just thinking about him. Just now! And the whole autograph thing!"

So folks, it's like that. Your intuition rolls in like that all the time. You know it does. Practice your intuition by talking to yourself and saying that thing that you know outloud. The more you say what you know, the faster you will get confirmation. Let's say you are driving and you have three (3) different routes available. Maybe you usually take one route, but today, you choose a different route. Are you listening to your intuition?

This Cancer Moon is FAN-DANG-TASTIC for practicing your intuition since 'feeling' is ramped up. If you use this 'feeling' energy just to be hyper-emotional and dramatic to gain attention, then you might want to consider what that is about.

The Moon square Mars ramps up the emotions, which can easily make you and everyone else argumentative and ready for combat. Channel the energy into something productive. Feel the energy and do not allow yourself to get caught up in something you will regret later.
