The BIG NEWS today is Venus in Gemini squares Saturn in Pisces, putting a restriction and limitation on self-worth, which translates into net-worth. So the level at which you value yourself will have a direct and inverse relationship to your financial bottom line.

Even more, this is occurring exact on a Cancer Moon. The sign of Cancer rules the home and family and Venus square Saturn is straight-up 'daddy issues' or 'authority figure' issues. So we have self-worth issues tied to an authority figure.

Now think of it this way, if you do not think and believe that you are 'Good enough', then how or why would anyone else think or believe you are Good enough? If you will not treat yourself well, then why would (should) anyone else? After all, you are setting the standard for yourself, right?

Self-worth has to come from within, not from without. At the same time, nothing will teach you faster than being denied the very thing you are starved to have. Perhaps that is the lesson here. Perhaps now there is compassion, understanding and empathy for those who are strapped in conditions much worse than your own.

Lotus flowers in all their beauty and splendor grow in the mud. Their ability to survive and thrive in such a messy environment is a source of strength for those of us who are mindful of such hard times, environments or challenges in Life.
