The BIG NEWS today is Venus conjuncts Uranus in the sign of Taurus. A conjunction is when two (2) or more planets are in the same sign and degree. A conjunction means the energies of the two (2) planets involved are intensifed. So Venus is intensified (Love and money) and Uranus is intensified (change and rebellion).

Keep in mind that Uranus is the 'oddball' planet that orbits nearly on its side. That's weird. That's strange. That's unusual. That's unique. That's Uranus for ya'.

Uranus rules lightning, which means it carries a lot of quick and sudden changing power! Change occurs so suddenly, so quickly, so instantly that it appears to have come out of nowhere. It's like the power of 'lightning' releasing one (1) gigajoule of energy. 'Giga' means 'billion' so its a billion joules (pronounced jewels) of energy.

Now when these two (2) planets are combined and intensified it creates romantic attractions that are so sudden that it is the classic placement for literally 'falling in love'. It's like stumbling over yourself and then, "Oh hey, I'm in Love." This is how two (2) people meet, get engaged after two (2) weeks, then move in together. It is 'sudden attraction' with Uranus being the culprit for the 'sudden change in circumstance' and when attached to Venus, you get odd, unusual, crazy Love.

The problem with this placement is that the attraction is so sudden and so fast that not so soon afterward the excitement wanes and the freedom (or spell) that initiated the interest has now moved on.

This aspect does not make an allowance to curb one's sense of freedom. It tends to get bored and restless in a traditional style of relationship and needs room to breathe.

There are a lot of weddings in the month of June and this is definitey NOT the aspect I would choose to get married under. Maybe if the wedding was planned out way in advance, but definitely not at the last minute.

Example - my Scorpion King and I have been engaged for something like eleven (11) years and I still would not trust this aspect to get married under if we 'suddenly' decided to be giddy and take the plunge. Even with the length of years we already have invested, I would not suddenly just do it. If we planned this date a year in advance, then okay, but not a last minute, "Oh let's just do it!" Not a chance!

This aspect seeks fun, spontaneity and intellectual stimulation from a partner, due to the Aquarius influence who carries the motto, "I know therefore I am."

Venus conjunct Uranus needs to be recognized as an individual within the personal relationship. The independence streak is very strong in this aspect and it cannot be negotiated out. "Back off, I gotta be me. It's not you, it's me."

This aspect is also a walking party that makes an already outgoing individual the 'Life of the party'. This makes the outgoing individual even more popular among friends, groups and draws-in mere acquaintances.

This energy can also mistake a lover for a friend and a friend for a lover because of Venus naturally ruling Libra and the 7th house of committed relationships and Uranus naturally ruling Aquarius and the 11th house of friends.

Some natal charts will require the partner to be a friend, but this aspect is not set up for longevity, which would be a Saturn influence if longevity were involved. Aquarian energy (Uranus) does not need to be married. It does not need to have a documented piece of paper to prove Love. Just sayin'.

You know what is more odd than Uranus? The fact that Saturn, which rules longevity and time is the ancient ruler of Aquarius, and Uranus is the planet of sudden change is the modern-day ruler of Aquarius. That's a dichotomy!

Venus combined with Uranus can make a sudden break in the relationship occur as quickly as it started. What started as a wildfire, can end just as quickly with a bucket of water and a hose.

I would also watch conversations or hanging out with people during this aspect.
