The BIG NEWS today is Mercury moves out of Cancer and into Leo at 9:12 PM EDT until August 11, 2021. The first thing I want you to notice the image I selected for Mercury in Leo. Notice the lion has a dirty mane, his tongue is dirty, his teeth are stained and he probably has bad breath. Cat breath! Whew! There is nothing worse. During this transit of Mercury we will have a collection of hard major aspects. This makes it challenging for Leo's to have in their 2021 Solar Return, which is the same as last year (2020). It's a lot of angst.

We already know that Mercury opposing Pluto will last in separating degrees until July 30th, then Mercury will oppose Saturn on August 1st, Mercury will square Uranus on August 3rd, and then Mercury will oppose Jupiter on August 10th.

There are also three (3) Quincunx aspects that are challenging, but which are less challenging than a square or opposition. I do not list quincunx's in the aspect list above simply because it's additional work, but I do account for quincunx's in the Expansive Natal Charts and Solar Return's that I write.

The quincunx's involving Mercury in Leo are - Mercury quincunx Jupiter on July 27th, Mercury quincunx Neptune on August 7th and Mercury quincunx Pluto on August 9th.

So you see, Mercury in Leo is pretty damn cruddy and spitting all kinds of nastiness. CAT BREATH! Once this collection of hard aspects involving Mercury in Leo completes itself, then Mercury will move into Virgo on August 11th. Those of you with Mercury in Leo in your 2021 Solar Return will really need to watch your mouth and monitor your breath. That's not a joke.

Today we also experience three (3) fine lunar aspects as the Moon in Pisces sextiles Uranus (change), conjuncts Neptune (intuition) and then sextiles Pluto (power). I like this small collection of lunar aspects together because it tells us that change in emotions will occur probably before we even hit the hay Monday night or we will feel better and differently than we did when we went to bed. We wake up refreshed and/or relieved.

Mercury will then conjunct Neptune in the afternoon, which enhances our intuition as the the day progresses. Pay close attention to the signs and symbols of the day. Slow down and make some sense out of your Life, messages, input, output, actions and reactions. You are a puzzle. Figure you out!

Then the day ends with the Moon sextile to Pluto, tells us our emotions are powerful. We can use this emotional power to manifest what we hope or desire. This is where the Good side of Pluto shows up and tells or shows us just how powerful we are when we put a put of 'umpf' into goals and intentions.

Mercury will quincunx Jupiter tonight at 9:45 PM EDT, which can cause you to exaggerate whatever the subject matter is. Over-inflated communication, stories, tales or information. Also, do NOT over-promise. You'll be sorry. Jupiter over-states everything, even the obvious. Dial it down and do NOT make anything better or worse than it is.

On another note, Friday night I opened the link for Expansive Natal Charts and Solar Returns. I do not know how long I will leave this link up and open, but I can tell you that it could be a few days or an entire week. After that I will close the link for about 1-1/2 to 2 months and then I will open it again. It is wise to get your next Solar Return 'at least' three (3) months before your next birth date. This is because some of the planets are coming into the 'orb of influence' in applying degrees and some will be leaving the 'orb of influence' in separating degrees once your birth date arrives. You already want to be ready for those energies before your birth day arrives because you will feel this energy a couple of months or a couple of weeks early as they will 'already be impacting' your next Solar Return.

Also, when planets change signs, you want to be in-touch with these energies when they come on to the scene, so that by the time your birth day arrives, you are already in the mindset of handling the energy.

Remember to read the letter at the beginning of the Solar Return because you NEED TO track the 24 hours of your birth day because each 2 hours in the 24 hour period will give you the snapshot of what the next 12 months will look like. Get your orders in as quickly as you can.
