EEEKS! The BIG NEWS today is self-worth is taking some hits today as the Moon is roller-coaster of emotions as the Moon trines, conjuncts, squares, trines, conjuncts and squares. This is intense folks! Note that a conjunction intensifies the energies of the planets involved and lunar (moon) aspects each have a 12 to 14 hour 'orb of influence'. So not only are the conjunctions intensifying energies, they are sandwiching a square and a trine, intensifying these aspects as well.

Remember, the Moon rules our emotions, feelings, moods and sensitivities. Also, the Aries (1st house), Taurus (2nd house) and Gemini (3rd house) make up the 1st Quadrant. The 1st Quadrant is where the self, identity, morals, values, and communication is developed. Those of you with a Moon in Aries, Taurus or Gemini ARE THE ONES learning this identity situation. Is this an issue?

The 1st Quadrant is all about self-development and self-concern. As you move through this roller-coaster of emotions day, consider that your first reaction is 'the self'. If you have a natal Aries, Taurus or Gemini Moon, your actions and reactions could prove to be too much as 'the self' feels attacked at the slightest displeasure. The other BIG NEWS today is the Lion's Gate Portal. Now folks, first I want to say that I do 'not' write about the Lions Gate Portal coming from an expert position. I do 'not' study the Lions Gate Portal, just like I do not 'study' the 11:11 Phenomenon or any other repetitive number pattern. I just don't. Although there are number patterns that 'remind' me of certain things, which will cause me to straighten my spine and lift the crown of my head to Heaven and pay attention.

What I would really like to know is when someone posts 11:11, I want to know what happened. What was the knowing? What did the person do with the 11:11 or the number pattern? What did it do for you? What's the big ah-ha? This is 'not' to make fun. That's not what I'm doing here. I really do want to know, "Okay, so you saw the pattern, what happened? Pray tell." I see numbers in my own Life that remind me to do certain things or to sit and give pause. Give me something spiritual juicy to mentate and chew on when you post 11:11 or 1:11 or 1:23.

I do 'not' call the Lions Gate Portal BS, foul, made-up or fake, as I know plenty of people who put a lot of stock in the Lions Gate Portal as they have had wonderful, magical, mystical and great things occur in their lives during the Lions Gate Portal (open period), so it's not right to rip their world apart. I just don't know that much about it except for what has taken place in my own Life.

Also, I 'do not' read other astrologer's writings because I feel it could mess with my own 'purity of intent'. I enjoy my interpretations falling out of my own brain as I make some sense out of what I see, hear and experience in patterns.

Now what you see below is what I have written many times on this website, I have merely copied and pasted the same words because I have nothing new to add. I also want you to know that it is okay when someone writes or mentions these patterns or phenomena in social media to ask questions. If they post about it, then ask them about it. Ask them and be specific. Maybe they will repeat or regurgitate someone else's words. Maybe they will have some thoughts of their own, referring to the bar scene in the movie, 'Good Will Hunting'.

So the Lions Gate Portal is the same time period every single year where the Lions Gate Portal opens, which is the activation of energy of the star Sirius. It is said that the Lions Gate is most active on the 8th month on the 8th day, which is August the 8th.

You have to understand that I am a 'Doubting Thomas' of sorts as I have a Natal Capricorn Moon and Natal Saturn in Capricorn, so I was born with skeptic question marks hanging over my head. My natural reaction is, "Yeahhhhhhh, riiiiiiiiight." So I'm just going to say what I need to say because even when it comes to Astrology, I still have to investigate, contemplate and mentate on the information rather than just blindly and believably following.

We know in Astrology that the 'astrological calendar' begins with the first sign being Aries in the month of March. The beginning of the calendar as we know created by man is January 1st, but the astrological calendar as created by God begins on March 20th when the Sun moves into Aries. Aries rules the 1st house. This we know.

So if I were to believe that this great alignment began on the 8th month and the 8th day according to the astrological calendar, then that would mean November 8th. But if we go by the calendar that mankind created, then that would be August 8th. So which is it? Are we believing man's calendar or God's calendar?

And let's say that the Star Sirius has this wonderful alignment on that date in time every year no matter what month we all it? Every year? That specific date? COME ON!

Even our yearly Solar Return is not always on our birth date because the Sun 'returns' to the same degree and minute we were born sometimes one or two days 'before or after' our birth date. So for August 8th to be 'the date' of exact alignment every single year, I have doubts. This is not something I get all ramped-up about.

Are we then just making up the 8th month and 8th day so it looks like and matches 'infinity' with the number 8? I dunno. See, I just don't believe stuff because someone types it out having read it somewhere else. I have to mentate on this stuff and I need to type out my own words. I need to see patterns. I need the patterns!! I don't regurgitate others thoughts, writings and work, and then call it my own. Use your reasoning mind (The Socratic Method aka The Maieutic Method) to exchange questions and answers in order to arrive at your own thoughts and ideas.

And so let's say that this perfect alignment does occur on August 8th, did this have anything to do with the Julian Calendar or the Gregorian Calendar? What say you now kind sir or maiden?

It further states on a different page, "In 1582, when Pope Gregory XIII introduced his Gregorian calendar, Europe adhered to the Julian calendar, first implemented by Julius Caesar in 46 B.C. Since the Roman emperor's system miscalculated the length of the solar year by 11 minutes, the calendar had since fallen out of sync with the seasons."

So what does this mean for the Lions Gate Portal? Something's not right and I don't mind sayin' it.

If it's just nonsense then save the information for someone else. Is there an astronomer that sees this line-up of energy that we can maybe stand under and get showered with blessings, or if you see a pattern, I mean a real pattern, then pray tell?
