Having said that, this energy brings about such vitality, vim and verve that it has strength, both physical strength and inner strength, that it is unmatchable. When a Leo is truly in their element, then everyone is happy and everyone feels safe, secure and protected. There is such a huge responsibility in a Leo being a Leo because others will turn into copy-cats and follow Leo's lead. In my world, as an Astrologer, I do expect a lot from Leo's and I pretty much do not put 'expectation' or 'high expectations' on anyone, except Leo's. Quite honestly, innately Leo's know better than to misbehave or set a bad example, so when they do, it's just a bummer to witness.

There is so much Life force behind Leo, that I guarantee if you want a mountain moved, then call a Leo and that mountain will be moved. Just a dab of willpower and a little bit of shoulder action and it is done!

What makes the human spirit come alive is creative self-expression, which is also right up Leo's alley. The spirit was made to produce, build and create, not just sit there. The spirit wants to bring something forth and spring into Life. Leo energy creates and pro-creates. Think about the plants and how they grow toward the Sun. Once the Sun rises and is lit up then everything turns toward it.

The Sun attracts! Think about your kids or when you were a little kid and drew pictures of the Sun, it always had a smile face on it because the Sun makes us feel happy and alive. It just seems all is better when the Sun shines. For this reason, Leo's have a natural sunny disposition. It is only natural that we are attracted to the Sun.

God also put Leo in charge of children (the 5th house), which means Leo is in charge of God's children and His playground. This is also what makes Leo is happy, child-like and animated. Leo also naturally rules the playground, romance, intimacy, Love, joy, bliss, fun, pleasure and creativity. All of these things are fun, lit-up types of energy, which is exactly why it is so important to channel Leo energy into happy and sunny filled energy.

The Sun is huge, it is dramatic and at times it can be blinding and too much to handle. When Leo energy is channeled inappropriately then it acts out and burns. If this energy is absorbed straight into the ego, then it will end up burning us and we wilt inside. We shine from the inside-out, not from the outside-in.

The Leo that seeks to shine from the outside may have a greater-than-thou ego and may even look a bit leathery or very tired and wilted in appearance from having too much Sun hoarded within, rather than letting their Light shine outwardly, from the inside-out. If a Leo man or woman want to change their appearance, then they need to start shining from the inside-out.

Leo is here for us, we are not here for Leo. We are not Sun worshippers, we are God worshippers. Sometimes Leo forgets that fact. Leo is here to lead us, to help make us better people, and to 'lead' us back to Him (God, Spirit, Creator), not lead us to them (the Leo). So you see, Leo energy is a VERY BIG deal in the astrological world. I can go very deep here with Leo, but I will just leave it here for now.

New Moon's are powerful energies that are activated for a two-week period from the date of the New Moon, in this case the New Moon in Leo is today, Sunday, August 4, 2024 and it is this two-week 'activation period' that can and will last us for an entire year, until the next New Moon in Leo in 2025.
