Mars in Aries square Pluto in Capricorn at exactly 3:14 AM EDT where it began in applying degrees on July 25, 2020, it is exact today, and will last in separating degrees until January 12, 2021.

The Moon in Gemini sextile Mercury in Leo at exactly 8:33 PM EDT. Lunar aspects have an 'orb of influence' of 12 to 14 hours 'before' and 'after' their exactness.

Today is that long-awaited day when Mars in Aries squares Pluto in Capricorn where you get to (and it is a 'get to') show up as your strongest most wonderful self, but there is an equal and opposite to everything. Now keep in mind, this is the 1st of 3 direct hits between Mars and Pluto. The 2nd of 3 will be on Friday, October 9, 2020 and the 3rd of 3 will be on Wednesday, December 23, 2020.

First let's remember that Mars is the ancient ruler of Scorpio and Pluto is the modern-day ruler of Scorpio. Mars is also a co-ruler, meaning it rules both Scorpio and Aries. And just because Pluto is the modern-day ruler of Scorpio does not mean that Mars does not still rule Scorpio. IT DOES!

In Roman religion and myth, Mars is the 'god of war'. Also in Roman religion and myth, Pluto is the 'god of death'. DAY-YANG! But wait a minute . . . Pluto is also the 'god of wealth'. That's right! Taurus and Scorpio are opposite signs. Taurus rules the 2nd house of personal wealth and possessions, earned income and morals and values. Scorpio, it's opposite sign, rules the 8th house of other people's money, insurance, wills, beneficiaries, windfalls and money through the spouse or business partner. Pluto is also the 'god of the underworld'. Where do you think precious gems and diamonds are found? Well they aren't found in trees. They are found deep within the earth. So those of you with Mars square Pluto in your Solar Return, will have a different story to tell if that square has a direct hit from a positive aspect. This could easily signify increase in wealth. But you can't be acting like an idiot because this is a very tough aspect to have and could easily make you throw your weight around like a bully on the playground and then suddenly there is a fall from Grace.

While this aspect carries an incredible amount of power, it can be channeled in any way you see fit. When you think of Pluto, think Plutonium and then think, "Damn, that's a lot of power." This is an explosion of power like none other. This energy always cause my mind to think of the HUGE trash pile underneath the earths surface in Bridgeton, Missouri - a suburb of St. Louis in St. Louis County. Google it! When we saw the explosion of the Beirut blast, it caused me to think of this pile of trash again in Bridgeton, MO.

When I consider this power for myself and see that it s-t-r-e-t-c-h-e-s from July 25, 2020 in applying degrees until January 12, 2021 in separating degrees, then I will guarantee you that I will be putting the pedal to the metal with so much power occurring. I will probably work harder than I have EVER worked in my Life. That is how I will push this power and use it to my advantage. It's like when the Scorpion King and I go canoeing. We paddle through the rapid and ride the current, while others stop paddling and get tossed around and tipped over with the current. Big difference! PADDLE YOUR ASS OFF! You always have the option as to how you want to channel this energy. The last time we saw this aspect hit 'exact' was back on November 5, 2019, which meant all of those individuals with that birthdate have been carrying this aspect until their 2020 birthdate. So not only are they carrying this aspect in their 2019 Solar Return, they are moving through it again during their 2019 Solar Return because here it is and their 2020 birthdate has not yet occurred, but when it does they will have it in their chart again since this aspect lasts until January 12, 2021. All of the birthdates between July 25, 2020 and January 12, 2021 will have this aspect. Some at tighter degrees than others. Those with this aspect closer to August, 13th - October 9th - and December 23, 2020 will experience this aspect the most. It's not so bad if you are channeling the energy in the most wonderful way and putting on your super-hero cape. But if you are being the villian, you are in a world of hurt for a while. Take this power and use it to do the most Good. Make certain you look at your chart to see where this aspect will hit you, as it is exact at 23 degrees. It's important to remember that Mars is already an aggressive planet on its own without any help from Pluto. This aspect can cause you to show up as the 'Superhero or The Bully'. I have been alerting you to this square for a while now, so this should not come as a surprise. You should have been well-aware of it by now if you have been keeping up with your Astrology reading and the 2020 August Astro Memes. Now remember Astrotators, just because an aspect occurs does not mean you get out of the car and lay down in the road and get run over. That doesn't even make sense. Or just because there is a huge pot hole or sink hole in the road does not mean you drive straight into it. You have been alerted before this date, like detour signs, so STOP and get a grip!

Chances are you are going to come up on (or already have come up on) some strangely aggressive behavior thrown at you. I have already heard from the Astro community where strangely aggressive behavior was unleashed and hurled at them from the most unusual people over something that was really not meant to be hurtful. This is a case of 'the trouble-maker' vs. 'the innocent bystander'. It is THE person who is engaged in the strangely aggressive behavior and 'reacted' so harshly that is the one who is thinking in those aggressive terms because that is their actual energy and what they identify with, not the other person. So you see folks, that is how you recognize the energy. Someone over-reacted. But then again, maybe it was YOU who engaged in some strangely aggressive behavior. Oooopsie, you may have shown a side of yourself and now the jury has seen it or heard it and now there are no take-backs. Dang, what's an Astrotator to do when they foul up and show a character flaw or two?

We are walking through a time where over-sensitivity is just too much. It's too damn much energy babysitting grown adults infantile emotions and walking on eggshells protecting yourself from possibily saying the wrong thing every time you open your mouth. This is the same energy as we experienced in November 2019 but this time we have COVID and an ELECTION YEAR here in the U.S. Holy Mackeral Batman!

This energy of Mars square Pluto will cause you to emerge as a protector, or you will emerge as a bully. There is no gray area here. Now keep in mind, a 'real protector' (Superhero) does not react as a bully. A protector will protect without losing their Good character and Good name. A bully on the other hand will talk down to someone else telling them, "You, you, you . . . " Bully's absolutely Love to tell you how bad YOU are, and what YOU did, and what YOU need to do, so YOU can live in their world, according to their level of sensitivity. Oh man I can't stand the, "You, you, you" and when I hear it, that will definitely cause me to remember YOU. I know the you'ers around me. You might see this first hand where someone is coming to the defense of someone else and ends up appearing as the bully themselves instead of the protector. Sometimes it is best to stand back and let others fight their own battles lest you end up looking like the bully yourself.

This Mars square Pluto aspect will actually push people away or just stay away from people altogether. Maybe you wish to be left alone so you can clean the house and get your finances back in order. After all, Mars is the ancient ruler of Scorpio and Pluto is the modern-day ruler Scorpio and Scorpio is a money sign, which rules the 8th house of other people's money. If you cannot trust your emotions and level of sensitivity, then maybe staying home is a Good idea.

If you cannot trust your emotions and level of sensitivity, it would be wise to remember that making others angry is one thing, but injuring someone's spirit is a whole other story. People generally get over being angry and if they hang on to anger that is really their problem, not yours. But when you hurt someone's spirit and touch their soul thereby scratching their bones, that is something entirely different.

This aspect is also very sneaky where the Passive-Aggressive types will show their aggression (and maybe even secretly). You were going about your business and all of the sudden you get a phone call out of nowhere and someone tells you how angry they are at you.

Maybe that person is not really showing their bravery and decides to text you instead, so you can read and then re-read the text thereby putting all of the different emotional tones to it and now you are angry too. You might experience something where someone brings up something from four (4) months ago and throws it in your face. Pluto is a colder than cold planet. In fact, it is as cold as dry ice and will burn you. Whew! Your response might be so cold that you say, "You should have told me four (4) months ago because now I don't give a damn!" Scorpio is the sign of the burial, the dead, cremation, wills, beneficiaries and all things deep and buried beneath the surface. So don't be surprised when you think a topic or situation is dead and buried and then that thing rises up out of the ashes to haunt you and gets thrown in your face one last time (until the next time).

Mars and Pluto are incredibly competitive planets, they are aggressive as all get out and Pluto is downright volcanic. Both of which rule Scorpio, which carries jealousy and cruelty. These two (2) planets squaring each other can not only fight with each other, which is like shadowboxing itself, but it can bring up some unbelievablely unattractive insecurities.

And another thing, Scorpio is the sign that rules sex, the genitalia and secret sex. This aspect 'can' and 'will' get you into trouble sexually if you do not control yourself. I GUARANTEE, we are going to see some high-powered folks go down as a result of this aspect for financial or sexual reasons. High-powered celebrities and the like. Thank God people are now paying attention to the pedophile rings and human traffickers. IT'S REAL and it always has been.

While some with this aspect may project onto their partner, it is the person with this aspect who needs to watch their sexual tendencies. There is sexual tension, sexuality, sensuality and sexy everything accompanying this aspect including pornography and sexual innuendo. You must monitor and channel this energy. While embracing your sexuality and sensuality is a Good thing, it is better to embrace it than to misuse it, abuse you or channel it in a way that could get you into some real trouble. Do you get me?

So back to, what's an Astrotator to do when they foul up and show a character flaw or two? Well the first thing you do is recognize this energy when you see it, in yourself or others. That's why we study astrology so we can recognize the energy. All too often it is easy to point fingers at others, but what about yourself? What about you? How are you engaged and participating in this energy? How are you actively seeking to respond as the Superhero rather than The Bully? And I don't mean this in a passive-aggressive way. How are you rising above to show your best self? Since Mars and Pluto naturally rule Scorpio, this is the sign of 'the Phoenix Rising' so use this energy wisely. Rise above!

Last year those of you with birthdates surrounding this date from October 23, 2019 until November 17, 2019 had this Mars square Pluto aspect in your 2019 Solar Return, which you are still experiencing until your 2020 birth date. But then the 2020 Solar Return will also have this Mars square Pluto aspect again, just not as tight a square as it was in your 2019 Solar Return. But it's there. Definitely! Look at it! I suggest you choose now which path you want to travel. The Superhero or The Bully?

I have to tell this story again because it is THAT IMPORTANT. Several years ago, during my 2016-2017 Solar Return, which was the Solar Return from hell of all Solar Returns I have ever seen. On my gosh it was horrifying!!! I was experiencing 18 million horrible aspects and one was Saturn square Neptune, which I'm showing you in the Astro Meme to the right. There were months and months of birthdates that year from April to early November that experienced that aspect and some of us more than others. That aspect was about as depressing an aspect as one could experience and when I see that aspect in someone's chart my heart just bleeds for them. Anyway, I honestly thought I was going to lose my mind. I didn't know which direction to take the website anymore and I couldn't get any help from anyone. I was lost! L.O.S.T. Toward the end of that Solar Return I dived into yoga and look where I am today. Since that time I earned 2-200 Hour Yoga Certifications and now I own my own yoga studio. It's crazy! I turned that crazy-ass aspect into a crazy-cool outcome! Remember, that was the year that I had pulled my Solar Return out and read seven (7) months after I wrote it. I wrote it two (2) months before my birthday but didn't read it until five (5) months after my birthday. THEN my eyes were opened and it changed my Life. I mean in an instant my eyes were opened and I got my act back together because I did not want to be beat and taken down by a temporary aspect in my Life. I wasn't born with that aspect, it was only temporary. And THAT is when I began writing Solar Return Reports for the rest of you.
