The BIG NEWS today is Saturn in Pisces sextiles Uranus in Taurus, Mars in Cancer sextiles Uranus in Taurus, and Mars in Cancer trines Saturn in Pisces. So let's break it down aspect-by-aspect. But first, scroll your eyeballs all over the page to see the Astro Memes before you read further.

It's been a long time since we have seen Saturn in Pisces sextile Uranus in Taurus. We will actually see this sextile two (2) more times within six (6) months of each other - on August 12, 2025 and January 20, 2026 as Saturn and Uranus come to the end of their transit in Pisces and Taurus and change signs into Aries and Gemini (August 12, 2025), then back to Pisces and Taurus again (January 20, 2026). That will be due to a Retrograde when you see three (3) passes like that. April 4, 2025, August 12, 2025 and January 20, 2026.

The last time we saw this pattern (3x) with Saturn sextile Uranus was back on May 19, 1996, November 10, 1996, and March 1, 1997. What were you doing back then?

Some of you are just simply not going to like or embrace this AWESOME aspect because some of you cannot let go of what you thought was, and what was, wasn't great. The fear of change alone will grab you by the 'ankles' and slow you down and 'fix' you in one place. Why ankles? Aquarius rules the ankles? Why Aquarius? Because there is a heavy 11th house (Aquarius) influence since Saturn is the ancient ruler of Aquarius, while Uranus is the modern-day ruler of Aquarius. Even more, it is the sign of Aquarius that rules originality, uniqueness, invention, innovation and the future. The past (Saturn) and the future (Uranus) are working well together in this sextile.

And why the word 'fix'? Because the Aquarius 'mode or quadrature' is that of being a 'fixed sign'. Fixed signs DO NOT like change. They are on a need-to-know basis, which means they need to know what is going on without surprises or sudden changes. Good luck with that. Change has already occurred, there is no going back, and you will get use to it. FACTOID! I'm talking about the Trump Administration and the changes taking place globally. Heck, even parting your hair a different way will feel uncomfortable for a while, but then after a while, the head gets use to the new do. By the way, the fixed signs are - Taurus (earth), Leo (fire), Scorpio (water), Aquarius (air).

Saturn sextile Uranus has a unique ability to bring new ideas (Uranus) to old long-standing structures (Saturn). Get use to it folks because we are not going back. The old establishment is OUT! It is OUT! O.U.T. OUT! Out with the old (past Saturn) and in with the new (future Aquarius). That is EXACTLY how this aspect works. Get use to it!

Since Aquarius rules organizations, memberships, team-building, networking and circulating, this aspect also adds structure (Saturn) to new organizations. There is also a talent for administration since Saturn is the CEO of the zodiac. New ideas are implemented in a practical, sensible, cautious and prudent manner.

It's hard to believe that freedom would be associated with Saturn, but since it has an ancient history with Aquarius, the Lover of freedom, this double-dose of Aquarian energy represents True freedom because the structure and self-discipline is present to support such a high level of freedom and liberation.

So again, what were you doing back on May 19, 1996, November 10, 1996, and March 1, 1997. As I look back on those dates for myself, that was when I was coming into who I am today (DrStandley.com) as I started this website in 1999. See copyright at top and bottom of every page on this website. I was coming into and laying the groundwork for being 'original' here on DrStandley.com. In fact, during those earlier dates in 1996, I was making plans to do my externship at Massachusetts General Hospital in Neuroradiology (medical teaching institution for Harvard University) in Boston, and I was there doing that externship on that third date March 1, 1997. See, I'm not just some far-out, lost and wacky astrologer. I'm pretty grounded in the sciences.

Then there is Mars sextile Uranus, which makes Lightning quick decisions, which could also result in knee-jerk reactions and decision making. At the same time, if you needed a burst of energy and courage with a shot of will and confidence, in order to make a change (Uranus) this is the aspect for you.

Mars sextile Uranus can cause you to take a leap of Faith where you may have been afraid to take a chance or a little jump. That one little spring of forward motion changes everything. It's what puts the wheels into motion. Uranus strikes while the iron is HOT!

This is a positive sextile that ALWAYS yields positive results. Even if you feel like pulling the plug on something or going completely the other way and taking that flying leap, this aspect is supporting you to change direction. When Lightning strikes, the streaky-strike goes wherever it wants, not where others want it to go.

Mars sextile Saturn is very sensitive to boredom as it will tip over the applecart and laugh just to create a change in circumstance, and to watch everyone scatter to salvage what they 'think' is important, but isn't important in the grand scheme of change. This aspect can handle anything except boredom. It also abhors the mundane, dull and monotonous. This aspect will throw a monkey-wrench into the cogwheels of same-thing-different-day in order to have change, variation and reform.

Mars is assertive, aggressive, competition and rebellious. If you try to make Mars do the same thing over-and-over again expecting different results, as we know as 'insanity', then perhaps a rude-awakening is what you will experience. Folks, like the aspect above, change is here. GET USE TO IT!

And finally, Mars trine Saturn has an incredible work ethic, self-discipline and self-control. This aspect is NOT losing itself to stupidity and bad decisions. So while Mars sextile Saturn abhors boredom, Mars trine Saturn will help you hold yourself together so you don't spend any extra money on stupid Dollar Tree junk. Saturn is involved which says whatever you buy or do MUST BE useful. After all, the Saturn (Capricorn) motto is "I use therefore I am". Saturn is the utilitarian planet of the zodiac.

I suspect there will be even a HUGER run on police, law enforcement and/or military applicants than there already is. While some may not believe this, there absolutely IS higher engagement now on applicants where actively recruiting is probably not even necessary because so many individuals want to be part of the age of sensibility and they want to be part of something HUGE, thereby making a positive difference in the world.

Mars trine Saturn reveals the Good soldier who always finishes assigned duties. Very little effort is ever wasted on unproductive activities or trivial matters. This is a very productive aspect that can get anything accomplished. This aspect is also tolerant and helpful to others. This aspects illustrates that success is something to be earned and not just an accident of birth (nepotism), Good fortune, or some sort of preferential, political or celebrity association. This aspect actually enjoys working for its reward. No participation trophies are given out or allowed! Do the work and you will get your due.
