SATURN SEXTILE URANUS

This is an easy aspect showing cooperation between two planets which leads to opportunity. It has a positive blending effect on the planets. Sextiles are considered a "soft" or "easy" aspects that reflect the planets involved. They have a way of delivering you an opportunity. It's as if the phone is ringing or there is a knock at the door. Again, it is your choice to answer the opportunity. Opportunities can reveal themselves under the strangest of circumstances.

What is so unique about this sextile is that there is a heavy 11th house (Aquarius) influence. This is because Saturn is the ancient ruler of Aquarius, while Uranus is the modern-day ruler of Aquarius. Even more, it is the sign of Aquarius that rules originality, uniqueness, invention and innovation.

This aspect has a unique ability to bring new ideas (Uranus) to old long-standing structures (Saturn). Since Aquarius rules organizations, memberships, team- building and networking, this aspect also adds structure to new organizations. There is also a talent for administration since Saturn (the CEO) is involved. New ideas are implemented in a practical, cautious and prudent manner.

It’s hard to believe that freedom would be associated with Saturn, but since it has an ancient history with Aquarius, the lover of freedom, this double-dose of Aquarian energy represents true freedom because the structure and self-discipline is present to support it.
