![]() ![]() ![]() The Moon in Aries conjunct Jupiter in Aries at 1:27 PM EDT. Lunar aspects have an 'orb of influence' of 12 to 14 hours 'before' and 'after' their exactness. ![]() The BIG NEWS today is, as there is only one lone lunar aspect today, we will call this day, "The calm before the storm." I will first address this aspect and then I will get to everything floating through the ethers. The Moon conjunct Jupiter is a talker about 'feelings'. Jupiter naturally rules Sagittarius and when snuggled up to the Moon, this aspect will not only talk, it will over-talk and damn near lecture about "feelings". Let's put it this way, the only time people usually enjoy being lectured to is when they pay for it, otherwise it would be wise to come up for air and let someone else share some insight. A conversation is a dialogue between two (2) people where both contribute to the subject matter. A monologue is only one (1) person giving a long tedious speech. If you engage yourself in a conversation with a long-winded monologue that is supposed to be a dialogue, then either you see yourself, your feelings and your knowledge as self-important, or you really don't give a damn what the other person has to say. The monologuer is going to have a tough time being heard if they require a lot of words, sentences, examples and affirmations (agreement). Nutshell? This aspect can go nowhere f-a-s-t. Other than that, this aspect has a very generous spirit, it is kind, giving and socially conscious. In fact, this aspect is so philanthropic that it could easily over-give and become an enabler, thereby doing the exact opposite of what it sought to do, which is help. Too much of a Good thing, isn't. This aspect is also politically motivated and seeks to protect the homeland. Jupiter is the higher octave of the Moon, which is very patriotic and committed to preservation and protection of the home, family and homeland. This aspect can do a lot with its generous plans. An individual who is politically or socially motivated could easily enlist the cooperation of others so they can make maximum impact and make better use of resources. ![]() So back to, 'The calm before the storm'. But first, notice that the July 2023 Astro Memes have been posted. You will see the link in the red-colored-drop-down-menu at the top that is on every single page of this website under the header 'Horoscopes'. You will also see the link in the teal-colored-drop-down-menu that is on every single astrology page. You will also see the link on every Monthly Astro Meme page. And you will see the link in the left-side navigation column under 'Astro Memes' when any astrology page is open on this website. Just look and you will find it.
Now back to the 'Calm before the Storm'. Folks, you have had plenty of time to feast your eyeballs on the 2023 Planetary Retrogrades. PLENTY OF TIME! I have had this Astro Meme posted on every single daily horoscope page since January 23, 2023 and it has been on every single Monthly Astro Meme page, as well as the bottom of the home page where all of the transiting action of the planets are located, meaning planets moving in and out of the signs, as well as the Fulls Moon and New Moons.
I have been calling your attention to the space in time between January 18, 2023 and April 20, 2023 where there were NO RETROGRADE planets. If you have been studying this 2023 Planetary Retrograde Astro Meme you should have noticed that nearly every single planet will turn retrograde soon.
It is NOT UNUSUAL for Jupiter, Saturn, Neptune, Uranus and Pluto to move into 'retrograde season' during the late spring, summer and early fall. It's perfectly normal, as these planets retrograde every single year for several months (3 to 6 months in duration, but mostly 5 to 6 months in duration). THIS IS NORMAL.
Out of the personal planets - Mercury, Venus and Mars, it is also completely normal for Mercury to retrograde three (3) times a year. Mars retrogrades every other year, so every two (2) years. Venus retrogrades every 18 months. So there ya' go.
So before you freak out this summer over so many planets retrograde, it's normal. What is not normal is for dang near every planet to be retrograde at the same time. The Sun NEVER retrogrades and neither does the Moon. Plus, the Sun is a Star and the Moon is a satellite and a luminary. They are not planets anyway, we just call them planets.
When planets turn retrograde we pretty much go into "Oh Sh!t" mode. Our attention gets called to those things we had not been paying that much attention to. So God gives us a 'do over'. We 'get to' do something over before progressing forward and we get to learn from our mistakes from not paying attention. That's usually a painful experience when the eyes come open and finally see what needed to be seen, but you were busy playing with your phone and taking selfies.
So God is not only taking the masses and generations of people backward in time to do something over, but He is taking all of us backward on a personal level to do something over.
The retrograde blurb below pretty much advised you to press on the gas while all of the planets were in direct motion from January 18, 2023 until April 20, 2023, to get as much as you could completed and accomplished. Some of you may have just fiddle-farted around and complained about why you can't or maybe you just did the bare minimum.
Now see, there ya' go, that's free will for ya'. God gives us all 24 hours in a day and free will. Then He spanks us on the ass and pushes us out of the Universal Womb we'll call "Mom" and we have to fly, run, walk, crawl, heave and ho the rest of our lives. Some will bitch and complain the whole way why they can't and others will not know how to stop. I know of a man who was a quadrapelgic and drove to work every day. He has since passed, but that man lived his Life and he worked it. Don't tell me you can't do it. You will do whatever you want at your own motivation, inspiration and level of self-discipline.
It's real hard for me to hear poor-me-syndrome and how you can't. You 'will' whatever you want or don't want. And I'm talking 'will' as in free will or 'will' as in will do or will not do.
Oh the whining that is coming down the pipe is going to be like nails on a chalkboard when all of these planets turn retrograde. Notice how the dates overlap each other. Mars is the only planet that will not be involved in the 'retrograde spree' because remember, Mars turned retrograde in the Fall of 2022 causing Mars to spend seven (7) months in Gemini.
I was chatting with a client yesterday, and I threw it out there to her and how she could take her side-hustle to the next level. Instead of it being a side-hustle, she was actually the expert who could teach others. Teach the teachers and bring them to the next level or teach others to become teachers. "Side-hustle my ass! You're an expert!"
That time period from January 18, 2023 until April 20, 2023 was a major prepartory space in time. I learned how to can (pressure cook and water bath), dehydrate and ferment food, and I went full on maximum effort and power with no rest in-between.
So here we are preparing to slide into Mercury Retrograde in a couple of days (on Friday, April 20, 2023) and then just a 1-1/2 weeks later Pluto will retrograde on May 1, 2023 and take us back into Capricorn on June 11, 2023. Then just a week later, Saturn in Pisces retrogrades, then Neptune in Pisces retrogrades . . . it's a domino affect. Are you ready? Or will you be one that slides into poor-me-syndrome and complains how you just can't.
We study astrology because it gives us a map on how to navigate the river ahead. IT'S A MAP! IT'S GOD'S GPS (God's Positioning System) and mankind has convinced you that their GPS (Global Positioning System) is better.
When I say that I am getting as much as I can accomplished and completed before Mercury Retrogrades on Friday - April 20, 2023, that is exactly what I mean. I don't know about you, but I work my astrology and wear it out before it wears me out.
So that time period from January 18, 2023 until April 20, 2023 was the calm before the storm. Put your big boy and big girl britches on, "LET'S GET READY TO RUMBLE!" ![]()
As a side note, look at the list of 2023 Planetary Retrogrades to the right. Notice that as of January 18, 2023, there are NO PLANETS RETROGRADE up until April 21, 2023 when Mercury will Retrograde 'again'. So you can expect a lot of awareness, quickness, steadfast forward change, from the masses as they begin to awaken from their slumber-fairy-dust-sleep. There's going to be a lot of, "Oh sh!t". This is the time to press on the gas and cram as much productivity you can in a short period of time. Oh right up my alley. Cram 55 lbs. in a 5 lb. can. Folks, it is time to put on your skates because it's a power play. All the skaters are on the ice and you have a chance to score some points with the Universe. Remember the quote from Wayne Gretzky, the greatest hockey player of all time? "I skate to where the puck is going to be, not where it has been." Cram as much as you can and get as much accomplished as you can before April 21, 2023. We will take a look back then at today's writing when the time comes. ![]() IMPORTANT **This horoscope is no substitute for a prescription or medical advice.
