How disciplined am I to do what I feel called to do?

"If you do not train hard you will never fulfill your potential." ~Maurice Greene
|
I train and discipline myself daily in order to fulfill my passion.

For a more enriching experience, go down on your knees to pray or take it one step further and prostrate yourself (lay face down) on the floor while praying.
Father, Jesus knew His passion in Life and was set on completing the work that You gave Him to fulfill. You also implanted in my heart a passion that I have not given proper respect, nor have I taken it seriously enough. I have not trained and disciplined myself nearly enough to complete the work that You gave me to do. In fact, I may have just scratched the surface in my pursuit. Father, help me to gain the confidence, energy and persistance of Jesus to accomplish the work that You gave me to do. Help me to be more of what I should be and less of what I should not be. I am ready to accept the mission that You implanted in my heart and follow through to its completion. I ask for Your Divine Guidance and Blessing as I pursue my passion in Life, just as Jesus pursued and realized His Passion. Thank You for the awareness today of fulfilling my passion while always remembering the Passion of Christ.
Through Jesus Christ's Most Precious Blood, Most Sacred Name and Most Holy Face, I thank You for this awareness. Amen~
A reading from the Holy Gospel according to Matthew
Matthew 5:17-19
17 "Do not think that I have come to abolish the law or the prophets. I have come not to abolish but to fulfill.
18 Amen, I say to you, until heaven and earth pass away, not the smallest letter or the smallest part of a letter will pass from the law, until all things have taken place.
19 Therefore, whoever breaks one of the least of these commandments and teaches others to do so will be called least in the kingdom of heaven. But whoever obeys and teaches these commandments will be called greatest in the kingdom of heaven.
