and prostrate yourself (lay face down) on the floor while praying.Father, there are times when I do not produce as much as You purposed me to do. You are the vine and I am one of your branches. I know that I am capable of great things and sometimes I feel so overwhelmed that I feel unsure of what to do next or what to begin for that matter. Sometimes my path seems unclear and I feel confused as to the road I must travel that I just feel like throwing in the towel. Help me to see clearly through the overwhelming sense of confusion so that I will do things that are for my highest Good and that glorify Your Name. I have been watching and listening for signs from You, although I feel that my brain is so clouded that I cannot see it or hear it.
Father, please come to me and assist me in such a way that I will surely see Your Influence and Guidance that cannot be mistaken for anything else. I will do my best to purge from my Life all of the things that I know are no longer working for me so that I have room to receive and embrace all that will work for me through your Divine Mercy and Grace upon me. I trust You Father. I trust that You already know what I need and desire, and that You are already manifesting my prayers this very minute, stirring my Life and everything around me, with Your Divine Finger. Thank You in advance for setting me straight and answering my prayer.
Through Jesus Christ's Most Precious Blood, Most Sacred Name and Most Holy Face, I thank You for this awareness. Amen~
A reading from the Holy Gospel according to Mark
Mark 1:21-28
21 Then they came to Capernaum, and on the sabbath He entered the synagogue and taught.
22 The people were astonished at His teaching, for he taught them as one having authority and not as the scribes.
23 In their synagogue was a man with an unclean spirit;
24 he cried out, "What have you to do with us, Jesus of Nazareth? Have you come to destroy us? I know who you are--the Holy One of God!"
25 Jesus rebuked him and said, "Quiet! Come out of him!"
26 The unclean spirit convulsed him and with a loud cry came out of him.
27 All were amazed and asked one another, "What is this? A new teaching with authority. He commands even the unclean spirits and they obey Him."
28 His fame spread everywhere throughout the whole region of Galilee.
